Heavy Metal Thunder for Android
The flow and immersion are fantastic. Feels like you're playing a 3D action game, say Half-Life. Sound, music, illustrations, UI are very solid, too. The conflict, main character and amnesia as a story device are quite generic but surprisingly don't impact the impression because the flow is so good. Quite a lot of non-linearity too!
If the game isn't compatible with android seven you should be able to bar people downloading by setting in the play store. Might stop negative reviews.
Absolutely F**KING AMAZING! Bar none the best story based game I have played on mobile. The characters are well fleshed out, the amount of choices you are able to make and the numerous paths make for remarkable replayability adding great depth to the game. I am not one to normally like text based games however this is not your typical text based game. I am currently on my second play through and taking new alternate options however I probably have at least another 5 to 6 after this to have seen everything. The game mechanics and everything within the UI is also extremely well thought out and all the mechanics are very well implemented. Admittedly I have sunk a rather large chunk of time into this app and truth be told their are bugs. The app does crash from time to time however it is not very common and has only happened maybe 5 times in the 20+ hours which I have sunk into the game so far. Considering all of this it is still easily one of my favorite apps and worth a solid $15 if the software was refined to where bugs were not anything noticeable or frustrating. I can't wait for what sounds like a possible sequel! Keep up the great work developing the idea!
Wow! This is a gem! I've rarely found this kind of cyoa novel, and i gotta say, this is quite the unique experience. Unfortunately though, i seem to run into a bug (or something) in the 4th chapter during the fight against the melee invader; the game crashed after the fight, even if i win or lose... but other than that, this is amazing! I hope you guys continue to build games like these and keep on improving...
Well, the splash screen looks nice. Too bad it never gets past that. If all you want is a pretty splash screen, this is the app for you. If you were expecting more, too bad.
I kind of like this game, however I don't think it is possible to go through all or most of the section in a chapter, which would be more interesting. So far I encountered only one bug that was not there when I played before ( I restarted whole game to see if I can go through more sections) In chapter 3 To The Revolution I think it is Entering The Dock when I want to check my inventory to see how I should play through it, the game quits. I tired to restart the chapter but it did not help.
I guess it's obvious that I love this game so far, however (don't worry, I'm not gonna talk about the bugs) I think one good thing the game could have is 'music' while playing. The track that plays when we're on the chapters section really sets the mood and sometimes I just stay there instead of playing. I think putting this track while we were playing would really make the gameplay more immersive and real.
I really liked this game, it had great mechanics and story. The only issue however is the consistent crashing at the scene about tensions gettig higher on the ship.
Game doesn't load. Just shows the black logo screen, then quits responding
Freezes on the very first screen(cubus games),, with one plus 3
Unable to load game on my LG G6. Just sits at the C3 loading screen. Disappointing.
Fails to load, cannot get past the cubus games splash screen
Freezed at the splash screen, couldn't test the game.
Never loads. Tried reinstalling. Just freezes on the logo screen
I cant use the app. It wont start.
Really fun. Choose ur path to survive in a space based, post apocalyptic, classic lone hero saves it all, sifi storyline.
Game doesn't load, gets stuck on logo forever
I enjoy the story so far, however there are some bugs: when checking weapons in some situations the app hangs and crashes. Also sometimes when restarting from previous chapter the progress of the chapter currently played remains without changes.
Everything was going fine until I made it to the doctor in the first chapter, whenever I killed him or persuaded him it would keep saying I died... Please fix, I was really enjoying your game until this happened.
Well done!
Choices don't much matter, I want my money back.
This might very well be the best storyline and gameplay I've played in years! I like the game and the atmosphere, the overall vibe and mood of which was really exciting and for sure absolutely engrossing and fun.
I couldn't finish the game because it kept force closing every time I check my inventory!
I love these kind of books, both in actual book form & digital format. What makes or breaks them more so than game mechanics is the caliber of the writing. Good story, good interactive fiction! Not many good sci-fi ones on the market. Highly recommend this one & its sequel.
Wow, this game had me drawn in from page (screen?) 1! The story is pure candy for anyone into the sci fi genre. Nothing groundbreaking or nutritious per se... but definitely hits that guilty pleasure chord. Great perceptions of choice, love the battle system and inventory management, and the skill progression is just icing on the cake. However, this all stopped abruptly for me on the "Ship of Fools" chapter. The game unexpectedly crashes following a battle with a certain sniper's lookout. Please fix!

A good story but crashes when you try to check your inventory far too often if you need to pick up an item you can't if it is full as you are then asked to check as soon as you do crash to desktop needs to be fixed!
As cliché as it may be to say this is one of the most stellar RPG books around. Love the watercolor style art and the writing, even it does get cheesy sometimes. Cannot wait for more from this studio.
Another great addition to what seems to be a growing revival and reinvention of the old, much-loved 'choose your own adventure book' style of games. My only complaint is that text is too big on larger tablet screens - a font size option would have been welcomed.
The language and tone of the game is a little silly. Somewhat spoiled the game for me.
I'm experiencing an issue where the game force closes every time I try to open my weapon inventory. Started happening after two restarts of the 'Ship of Fools' chapter. It started on the page after fighting both invaders, where I have the option to keep the charged blade (and some other item, whatever it was). Even if I pull up my inventory and select weaponry, it force closes. Hoping this'll get fixed, soon!

The story is a s-f action novel which is quite interesting in itself, but with many player choices and a light rpg system I couldn't put this game down. The only gripe would be that the author too often breaks the 4th wall with comments about character stats. Not so funny after the 1st time...
If you kill the crazed man I'm the first chapter no matter what it bugs and says you died, I can't get past this part. It is such a great game but very annoying I can't play it because of such a game breaking bug. 5 stars if patched
The story is good enough to keep you interested, yet sometimes devolves into idiotic slapstick which ruins the immersion. The worst part is the crashes, I've never had a game crash so much on my tablet, hopefully they will work on that. That said, I am still looking forward to the next book :)
Stumbled upon a few bugs, reinstalling once allowed me to finish the game. Throwback to late 20th century gritty sci-fi, the setting is pretty much what you expect it to be, and there's nothing wrong with that. The writing itself is no work of genius, but it serves its purpose well to fit the story, and the choices you make feel meaningful. The game feels a bit unresponsive at times, and sometimes leaves me wondering whether it registered my input or is just freezing up. It could use some optimization and perhaps a simple animation upon pressing a button in the dialogue, both would serve for a smoother experience.
Very good story.
A fantastic journey in one of the very best game books I have ever laid my eyes on. Well worth the small amount of cash to buy in.
Bought the game in high hopes but I press new game and it just goes to a white screen. I'm able to go back to main menu but that's all that goes on.

It doesn't work. All I see is Cuberis games or something like that and then I get a black screen. My phone freezes and then I get the "heavy metal thunder has stopped working: close app?". Pls fix. It looks very fun.
