The Deer God - 3d Pixel Art

Such a great game but the bugs are killing me. I really want to progress in the game but my files are constantly disapearing and whenever I exit the game all progress is lost (so frustrating). Slightly better instructions at the start would be cool, and to be able to see whats at the bottom of minor jumps (ie: the spikes so you don't die). really love the art and animation and it's a really nice game to play, so if the bugs were fixed I would definitely consider buying the full version.

great game w/ beautiful graphics and an elaborate story board. 'The deer god' is a well developed game ! Its extremely interesting and very thought out. However, my only concern with this app is that it frequently crashes, deleting all game data when it does and there isnt a solid way to save the game progress. Itd be great if an update included a clearer save option and patched some things up, like the crashes and over all bugginess. Despite this, its a lovely time killer!!

Wonderful to play and just as much to simply admire the amount of detail in the graphics to make for some very serene environments. The one thing is that the left/right movement control is pretty frustrating to utilize when the action picks up. Dedicating the entire left half of the screen would make things much more comfortable, or even simple dedicated left/right controls. Besides that, wonderful job!

But..only after the rating gets to at least 4.0 for the full version. Couldn't hurt to lower the price a bit as $5 is a bit steep and you might just get more sales and downloads by lowering it to $2.99. I will continue to enjoy the demo until at the very least known issues are fixed. It's not too much to ask for a less glitchy version if we're going to pay $5. Eager for improvement! Will keep watching you're game. :)

It's fun but SUPER buggy. Sometimes when I die, it turns me into other animals. I don't know if this is on purpose or not but one time it was a hedgehog and I couldn't even jump. One time the entire landscape disappeared and not just started flashing random lights. And it also, when creating a new game, made a random cliff that killed me with no way of getting past it. I really do think it would be fun if it weren't for all the glitches.

When I play it, this weird background music that isn't even part of the music of the game plays and it makes it very hard to concentrate. This only happened after this last update and I even tried to uninstall and reinstall the game to fix it, but it still doesn't stop. When I close out of the app, the odd soundtrack continues playing and I have to force stop it just to get it to stop the music.

It's a beautiful game. Great graphics, great story, pretty nice game overall. However, it's buggy. Very buggy. It will often crash and close itself. It also deletes my saved files, which is quite irritating. I can't progress very well with the game constantly closing and deleting my save files. I would like to rate this game 5 stars, but I can't unless these bugs are worked out.

Seems cool but I guess I'll never know. It keeps crashing. Also seems like this is just a trial version and to enjoy the whole game you need yo purchase. Lastly, even if the graphics looks cool, they are way too tiny and dark to be enjoyed on an avarage phone screen.

I bought this game on the Wii U for my little cousin and we played this for countless hours. I wanted to spend the same time on my phone but the saved data keeps deleting and the bugs are overwhelming. Please fix! I want to play this again! I'm using a Google Pixel XL running on Android 7.1

This game is great I thoroughly enjoy it (when it works). I have experienced multiple bugs and only have had the game for a few days. When I continue my save the deer doesn't even show up and it immediately starts fading to white as if I died. I also have experienced the joystick getting stuck which crashes the game. At this moment, I'll wait for an update that makes the game actually playable again.

I actually think this game's interesting even though I have to agree with a few of the other reviews. The tutorial is lacking so you'll just have to find some things out on your own. The controls are indeed not that precise as well. Games also don't get saved despite the screen telling me that they're saved.

I love this game. The art. The style. But there are some problems. Every time i die, ads pop up. The ads crash the game and my phone freezes every time. After a small time with the app installed, it started crashing, so it is no longer playable. I really want to play this game more, but i just can't. Pls fix.

It lacks instructions on the start. Like, you could destroy the bushes to get some other stuff and what some of the blocks really are. And also it felt weird coz the controls are not precise. Please try adding an option weather we want a joy stick or a button setup coz most of the time, I can't control the jump's direction and I end up starving coz when I finally unlocked a dear statue, I ended up wasting too much time just positioning the dear right for the jump. It's pretty annoying and a time waster. Ty.

I died and respawned as a hedgehog and got stuck in a ditch because I couldn't jump... so I had to wait to die of starvation. Also an ad every time I die? £5 is a lot to pay for a game that is so glitchy and has a lot of bugs. Looking forward to an update to fix these because until then it may not be worth the full £5...

Overall it's an amazing game, and me being an artist it inspired me a lot. But some there's a few bugs and things that should not belong. One bug is that when you freeze a ghost or skeleton, they turn into blobs of white. It's certainly a glitch. But overall it's a good game.

Best game ever. I play slither and Mc a lot but I can't get my hands off of thus game. You start as a human who is hunting a deer. Then wolves attack u and u die, and then the elders turn u into a deer to redeem ur self for your actions. It's so fun.

A beautiful game! The music and graphics (love the focus shifts in the environment), just perfect! The controls are pretty good, a bit imprecise at times, but it has not been a bother. The ads can be a bit annoying, as everytime you die an incredibly slow-loading ad appears. Dying also sends you a rather long way back.

My only problem is that re-spawning takes too long, and when you do come back, your a fawn again, which sucks because when you're older you can jump higher. Also, not sure if this happened to anyone else, but it force closed on me multiple times for seeming no reason. Using a BLU bold 5.0. OS 6.0

It crashes a lot, I started the game 5 times in a row and I can't get past the double jump... It just crashes and I have to start all over again. It looks really beautiful, I love pixel art graphics. Just fix it please, how am I supposed to know if I like it enough to pay for the full version of I can't even get past the first minute?

I can't get past the first double jump, sometimes less than that. The game freezes and won't respond, though the audio continues for a while. The thing is, what I've seen of the graphics is lovely and the story seems intriguing, so I'd love to see where it all goes. However it's currently unplayable for me, on an S4.

Nice graphics. It is WAY buggy. But what is worst Is the writing. Do other people that shoot deer in game share the same fait. Why is it only me? How the f### do understand man when I'm a deer?! And when the Elder of Wind says 'once you complete this task come back to me' how does he telepotlrt to the other end if the falls!? Also it does NOT save.

love this game so much, art is great, controls are simple, fun to play; however there are a couple of bugs that need fixing. after i defeat the last boss, instead of getting the ending i get 'one life left' and sometimes theres a glitch that stops the map and if i fall off i cant do anything

It's very beautiful and fun, but whenever I start the game it has this weird background music aside from the normal soundtrack. It sounds like something from a shooter game or something, and it just keeps playing and it's really distracting. If I go to my homepage the weird background music won't stop, and I have to cancel the Deer God completely to make it stop

There's a horrible bug. I play it for 5 minutes and then the whole thing freezes and closes itself out. It wouldn't be so annoying if it didn't delete my save file.... Please fix this.....

The game just needs work. I got the same quest three times in a row from the wind deer guy, about jumping over a cliff, without ever finding said cliff. Never died or used special skills. The movement is awkward - you've pretty much got only one speed, which makes precise motion difficult. Worst thing is the attack button - it's finicky, not always responding properly, and it's right next to the jump button. And it's small. There's a lot of good here, though. Just needs work.

This game is beautiful and fun. But it needs work. After dying, sometimes I have to restart the whole game. It also doesn't seem to save my progress. For instance, I found the old man's monocle, died right after. Upon respawning, the monocle is gone.

At first sight, the 3D pixel art was beautiful and amazing! But it force exits right after the first cut scene is finished. It was disappointing, maybe you can fix this right? I'll give a positive feedback when fixed

every two minutes it gets stuck so I never get to save, which means I need to start over every time. I uninstalled. Hope you will fix the problem.

I really enjoy this game, it's very pretty and I love the story! However, it keeps crashing on me, and it even deleted one of my save files after a crash and I had to restart... I hope you guys can fix it, I really want to be able to play this!

Seems like a fun game, but the movement controls are horrible. It looks like lots of work went into the polish of this game, such a shame they messed the controls up. Why would you not just add an option for normal forward and backwards buttons? Or even an onscreen joystick.

This game looks great and plays great. However, the "touch and swipe" control scheme instead of a standard left and right button layout, makes it a bit difficult to control. If it was a top down perspectove game, it would be ideal, but for side scrollers, a left and a right button are all you need. Imho, it would be great if an option for that was added.

Honestly it's a great game, but there is a glitches. Such as when I'm running, I can't control it. After that the app crashes an deleted the whole file. Second, it just crashes like half though the game. Third, it keeps following out of the land, an doesn't let me out until I have to delete the whole game.

The game itself is quite fluid and artistic looking. However, attacking may be too close ranged, and hard to aim. And the first item I got never appeared in my inventory. On top of all THAT, the game kept crashing and only showed white, even after I reset multiple times.

I love this game, but it would be a whole lot better if it didn't crash every time started making progress. I'm along on a galaxy S6 active, so I'm not really sure why it's being so weird.

This game looks amazing and seems interesting but it deletes save files, continues to play music when the game is closed, moves the character when I don't want to move it or doesn't move the character when I do want it to move, character glitches a lot and it crashes. I don't recommend this game and personally will not buy the full version. It looks breathtaking and has interesting concepts but it's hard to play at all. Its frustrating because it seems like an amazing game...

terrible controls, bad tutorial. the graphics may be pretty, but tbh nothing drew me into playing more than a few minutes. perhaps it'd be different on a smaller screen or different console? whatever

Overall it is a beautiful and fun game, it's fun to run around defeat enemies and destroy stuff. It worked great the first day I got it. Then the second day, it deleted all my progress when it crashed and would keep crashing once I got passed the old man, or the world wouldn't load. I would give it five stars if it was even slightly more playable

If only it'd play it would be a good game. I get 2 minutes of game time if that before I get a white screen. It lags and doesn't load. And you'd be insane to pay for a game this buggy and faulty.

I think that it's a pretty good game overall, the idea is neat and the style is beautiful, but this game is super glitchy. Whenever I fell into the water where the gators were, I'd get stuck up against a wall and not be able to move. And when I found the guy's monocle, it didn't show up in my inventory, and therefore I couldn't complete the quest. Such a shame, it looked so good.

I love the premise of the game and it's so fun to play. The graphics and aethetics really suit my taste but the bugs keep ruining the game for me ! I am constantly losing save files and that being said it's really difficult to make progress within the game . . . I hope that all of the games malfunctions can be fixed soon !
