A totalitarian State controls every aspect of private and public life. Laws are oppressive. Surveillance is total. Privacy is dead. You are the State-installed manager of an apartment building. Your daily routine involves making the building a sweet spot for tenants, who will come and go.
However, that is simply a facade that hides your real mission...
The State has appointed you to SPY ON YOUR TENANTS!. You must BUG their apartments while they're away, SEARCH their belongings for whatever can threaten the authority of the State, and PROFILE them for your superiors. You must also REPORT anyone capable of violating the laws or plotting subversive activities against the State to the authorities.
You MUST! But WILL YOU???
BEHOLDER IS ALL ABOUT MAKING CHOICES - CHOICES THAT MATTER!
What will you do with the information you collect? Will you report the suspicious activities of a father and orphan his children? Or will you withhold the details about his illegal activities and give him a chance to make things right? You may also choose to blackmail him to acquire the money your family desperately needs.

You decide what happens: Every decision you make affects the way the story unfolds. All that matters are the choices you make when you interact with the game's characters. Even a seemingly minor decision can have disastrous consequences. So, think twice and choose wisely!
People aren't just objects: Each character you meet will have a thoroughly developed personality with his or her own past and present. This myriad of characters creates a unique labyrinth of relationships in which you must communicate with others and then decide what your next steps will be. Essentially, your relationships with others form a puzzle you must solve.
No decision is easy: If you are given the power to destroy the privacy of another person, should you? Or should you treat those on which you are spying the way they deserve? Then again, who decides what anyone deserves? What if two people deserve to be saved, but one has to go? Who will you choose? Is there such a thing as a lesser evil?
You don't know where you'll end up: "Beholder" is a game of multiple endings. Although you'll always have enough information to make a wise decision, there will always be something about you which you might be unaware. "Beholder" is no beautifully calibrated virtual reality! It is life! And it is real!

Love the game but please please add sync via google play. It's so much nicer to play at home on the tablet. REVIEW UPDATE: Tried it on my Samsung Tab S2. Soooooo many graphic glitches. What is the ministry's teleph... mail address so I can send some spy pic... screenshots?

The game is perfect, but please, make an option to decrease graphics to 2D 3x3 pixels minimum or something like that! It's 5 fps on Wileyfox Swift, even GLtools can't make the difference!!! But "This war of mine" was alright. Please, help of you can.

It looks like a great game but whenever I get to the 3rd loading the game just crashes on me. I've closed the app and reopened it multiple times but it still continues to crash. Please fix this issue. I didn't just pay $5 for a game that doesn't even work.

I can't really rate it, because it won't load. It goes thru the intro, and then shuts down. Wouldn't really care, but I did spend a few bucks on it. If the game is going to be buggy or not work properly maybe make it for free at least.

I loved this game. It works perfectly for my phone and my tablet. I have no complaints about this game except the controls are a little hard to use but I love the gameplay. Keep it up!

Its a great game..I loved the PC version..and was excited to see it on mobile ..a bit small even on a larger screen but still great game...doesn't work on my hudl tablet unfortunately :( but is a faithful port ...would love to see blissful sleep dlc :)

Is Big-Brother-Sim a genre? BBS? It should be. For the PC add Papers Please and Kommissar. But this game steals a march on them, being the first to appear on Android. And I prefer this to the PC version, I think - somehow control seems easier. Great game.

Great game idea; the low ratings I gave were because when trying to re-enter the game from a load, graphics and some gameplay don't load correctly or fully or both impacting the experience and sometimes causing a crash in the app. This happened through 10 mins of exiting and re-entering the game.

Very cool game! I actually love it. However it's next to impossible to play on my phone, even a big one. I went to download it on my Galaxy tablet, and nope it doesn't even show up in the store. What gives? Plus, I saw some people commented that there was no Play saving? If this is so, please add that as well! I'm excited for updates and won't ask for a refund... So please add tablet support!!
