EMPIRE: Deck Building Strategy for Android
Why the hell is the screen upside down? Was this programmed in Australia or something?

Really fun!
I feel like this game is a great concept, only partially realised. There is no reward to achieving the victory point threshold other than bragging rights; the enemy continue to attack in the same increments of increasing difficulty, the same cards are available to add to your deck, both in battle victory and spell cards. All that changes is the next threshold and the fact that there are less and less resources around. I feel that the game would be improved by unlocking new cards by achieving, vp thresholds.
I highly recommend this game. It took me a long time to find a game I didn't get bored with in one hour. I love everything about it..I just wish I knew when I should abandon a city and what the best strategy is.I can't get past 170 victory points..UPDATE..Since the last update, I don't like how you changed the game..I used to like how you could buy units instead of only getting them through the city upgrades..also, I think you should get more than 1 vp for killing monster armies, but its still great!!
Quick civ-style game that doesn't drag out too long. Interesting card/board combat. Love the upside-down rendering so I don't accidentally hit the phone's soft buttons.
Good ideas, worth a try
Not at all what I expected. Have no control over most anything. Can't even control building of troops or city facilities. Just have to hope the game will let you do it rather than give u victory points or whatever crap it decides. Dumb. And despite the name of the game, the "deck building" aspect is minimalistic and barely even used. Also in battle when you do have cards, the majority of them you can't ever use. They just take up space to prevent you from getting good cards. Your army never heals. To much wrong to list.
Absolutely worth $3! This clever game feels like a cross between Civilization, a Tactics game, and a deck building game, with the "new game every time" feel of modern rougelikes and survival games. Play this.
Great game but for some reason it plays upside-down on my galaxy 5. 5 stars for the fix
Too much hype around this game!!! I'd play solforge any day over this, but i prefer card & strategy to arbitrary troop placement war simulation.
Bought the game and am requesting a refund. If they code it to be upside down on my phone they dont deserve my money.
To devs: thank you so much for making a game that doesn't require continuous pay to play. To players: before spending hours on this game you should know that it cannot be defeated. The goal is to get the most victory points or objectives before you go extinct. Not very satisifying. Quite depressing actually.
I know the designer and he delivers what he promises. A lot of tactical and strategic depth, paired with quick gameplay. I can finish about two games on my commute. Very challenging. Not for the faint of heart.
A brilliant spin on the conventional strategy genre. Resources are finite, difficulty is high, and every decision counts. The CCG elements add a lot of excitement too. Fantastic!
Please fix game that I spent money on it crashes everytime I log on and I am on Galaxy s5
It is up side down on my Note 3
A very stripped down version of civilization. Simple yet challenging
Weeeeeeeet

Combat is stupid. The nation building "civilization" part of it is frustrating and very restricted. I hated it. Good graphics though.
Then I noticed how repetitive it is...that desolation thing that happens within the cities is such a bad idea. Sure,it forces you to resettle, but it happens too fast ...I can't for example destroy this thing. There is just the desolation and that's it. No other enemies. It is a well done game, dialogues and so on. But it should have campaigns and heroes or something. At least give us the option to "heal" the land within a city. Where is the DECK BUILDING element ? All I saw was a bunch of useless cards
Liking the game but since the update, it only opens upsidedown which is kinda annoying. Will increase rating when/if this is fixed
Aside from turning my phone upside down to play, great game! I LOVE that there are no in app purchases or ads.
Looks fantastic!
For some reason on my galaxy Note 2 the screen is permanently upside down.
Having a lot of fun playing this one so far. Can't say I've gotten to far in it yet. So many games, so little time...
Way to easy to master, not worth your money.
interesting concepts, but lacks polish.
The game comprises of a simple overworld map where you found and develop cities. You must then contend with the invading "blight" which will both corrupt the land around your cities, making them unworkable and send armies to destroy the cities themselves. The overworld section is simple but there are some interesting decisions to be made like whether to expand your working areas or abandon the city entirely to go work somewhere less afflicted by the blight. The battle section is where the deck building comes in and that's where it feels like the most opportunities were missed since the cards themselves are pretty boring, for example one moves an archer behind a footman, another gives a unit two health. As a result the deck building aspect, while really fun and interesting lacks punch for me and I never found myself motivated to play more just to get more cards or to build a more interesting deck. Overall though, for a phone game it's got a lot of depth and is great fun to play.
Great game for kind of short strategy game, im playing a lot in first 10 hours, would sugest to have more varieated card deck, more different type and more quantity of army, more stories inside, by the way its worth game for the price
Could use a little more card variety, though. Can be frustrating, while you don't realize that every Empire is doomed from the start.
Cant open the army window?

It's happened twice already, no way to play on.. Absolutely frustrating.. galaxy note 8.0
Very challenging.
Great Concept
I bought the game after reading about V1.3 on their page. Unfortunately that is not yet available on android. The game has a lot of potential and it sounds like 1.3 will be a HUGE improvement.
Honestly the title threw me at first, giving me the impression this was something that wasn't quite my forte. But I tell you now it is a travesty this title is lost among the very poor categorization and search functions of the play store, (and all app stores for that matter). First off, this isn't of the nickel and dime iap bubble that's making a mockery of mobile/social gaming...This takes core mechanics of much larger quality games, blends, refines and reduces them down like a master brewer. What's left is a streamlined experience revolving around exploration, (ideal spots to found your 1 of 3 total temporary cities), resource management, (food, materials, gems), city leveling system, and deep turn based grid tactical combat, (where the cards come in to help augment poor luck or planning considering the chess-like structure to battles, along with the random starting placement of troops). Above all this is what pocket gaming is about, a challenging but fair, very well designed game. Thank you Crazy Monkey! :)
