Aces® Gin Rummy Free

I paid for this game a while ago to remove the adds. Now after there update it back to the free verison with more adds than before and can no longer find the paid verison what the heck!

Last update has ad after every hand. Deleted with extreme contempt.

I had an older version. I was bummed that it stopped working. The update required a $3 purchase for ad free. It was easy to purchase on the home screen immediately after opening the app. The new version is faster and easier to use. It's a better use of screen space than the older version and the game play is smoother. It was a 4 star app before. It's 5 star now. We'll worth $3 to support the developers. They made a solid game and they earned the $3. I don't trust free apps and I hate ad supported apps.

Good play most of the time, the only way the other players can win is to cutthroat, and I have to change players when they go too long on this kick. After One or two cards they go down, over and over again. Wish the hearts and spades were set up like this game is..much better playing than the games are now. All in all this is worth the money.

The updated game has reduced the number of ads. I don't experience any app issues, like freezing or unexpected closes. It always restores my game. My issues are: 1) the deals don't always seem random, 2) seldom does the opponent have a pot-load of points when I gin and 3) I sure can be caught holding tons of points if the opponent gins. However, I can still win a good percentage of the time.

It's actually one of the better gin games out there in terms of gameplay. As others have noted it tends to grab the wrong card to discard. It also automatically clicks on the ads at the end of each hand bringing them up in Google Play. If they are charging per click, that's fraud kiddies, as well as just plain obnoxious.

I love this games' quality. EXCEPT when I have my mute activated and this game overrides it with ads. I had thought the last update may have fixed it, as one new ad came across with sound muted, the most recent are blaring in my face when I expect silence.

Beautiful graphics, and the AI plays very well, but the free version has the most obnoxious ad nags I have ever seen, so I had to pay to remove them. Ordinarily, that would be fine. HOWEVER, I have serious reservations about doing so in this case, because I previously bought Concrete's Aces Cribbage -- which I very much enjoyed -- but the company dropped the game one day with no warning or explanation, and rudely never answered a single one of my emails asking about it, so my money was basically flushed down a toilet. If they ever do the same with Aces Gin Rummy, I shall never give them another penny as long as I live.

Enjoy this app by far the best gin app ive found. Only thing that annoys me is the increase in advertising since the last update. However its free and the devs deserve to get paid.

This was a solid Gin program, but the ads have steadily gotten more and more intrusive, to the point where full screen data-devouring videos are popping up after every hand and after every game. I understand the devs have to make a buck, but this is totally out of control and has caused me to accidentally close out of Web tabs I needed because I was trying to stop the ads. Moving on to something else.

The free version is ruined by the ads you have to watch after every game. Otherwise it's great. So if you really like it, pay the $3 to get rid of the ads and it is much more enjoyable.

I have no idea how this game is so well reviewed. #1: The resolution is really small, only takes up half the screen on my Nexus 5. #2: accidentally tap the top card or dragging the wrong card to discard, sorry you're SOL. An undo button for the last move would make a lot of sense. #3: when I draw a card that can be used for either a run or a set, it automatically puts it on the run. This is dumb because if I would obviously rather use my 2 other cards to make a set instead of them going to waste.

Great theme & graphics. Ads are tolerable. I really liked this version until I noticed that the scoring was becoming inconsistent. One example is: Big Gin is 33 points most games & than 1 random game it's 31 points.

First of all the cards where nicer looking and more legible before. Maybe you want to give a choice to players to change them. The scores in gold are not legible maybe you should have it in red or something. Also, you should think about adding undo last move, because sometimes one's hand accidently hits the screen , or touches the wrong card. There should be a safety button like undo to correct that. I also noticed there is a lag when you try to pick a card or throw one that wasn't there before. Overall, there are changes that should have been left alone and improvements that where overlooked. Think about it.

You just RUINED the BEST game on here you IDIOTS.. Why put ads in between EVERY hand. You SCREWED UP a PERFECT AWESOME game. One that I play all the time because I love it. Thanks for RUINING it IDIOTS....

I bought the pro version of this a few months ago, then they updated so now there is no pro version; only the free version with the option to remove ads. I contacted customer support and they said i would have to pay again to remove the ads, even though i had paid for it previously. A complete rip-off.

I love cribbage, and I use to ay this a lot but after a while the computer player wins with unstoppable hands it either got Gin or knocked almost every hand and when it knocked was always less than what I had, it got Gin or knocked in less that five turns every hand. Shame this used to be a good game.

My LG G3 gets very hot playing this game (even something like Asphalt seems to be lighter on cpu). Obviously, the battery life is impacted as well. Looks like a bug, neither the logic of game or graphics really need such cpu power.

Is there a reason why the Amazon Pro version of this game is still stuck on 1.06? People paid for that. How about you try supporting that edition of the damn game.

The best ! l have probably down loaded 100 games and never gave a review. This game is smooth. No Glics. Adult. True gin rummy rules for serious rummy players. Luv it sorts my cards. And the choices of becoming a different character pulls you inside the game. The period graphics rise this game above the rest. Keep up the good work folks.

Mad about paying twice to get rid of ads. Had Pro version now updated with pay to get rid of ads again. Very disappointing. Not right. Love this game though.

This game is my favorite time killer. When I get bored this is what I do to cure my boredom.

Opponent often wins after only 2 or 3 pick ups. This happens many times. Opponent wins way to many times for my liking. Frustrating.

I updated the version I got long ago, which was great! The 2.0 graphics and action are much worse on my old tablet. Why did I uninstall the old!?

It was fun at first but then here comes Google add & game pop ups, it keeps crashing when I have my internet data & WiFi on. Just a total headache & refuse to reinstall until this game is fixed & properly please & thank you!!

Game play is good, action is speedy. Ads/videos after each game are annoying.

I've enjoyed this game for many years but this new version has glitches. After every hand when the ad comes up the ad doesn't play and it kicks me to the entro animation

Plays smooth without a hitch. Developers, please make the difficulty variable so it becomes more challenging. My favorite computer card game

Far too many interruptions with other game ads. This used to be fun, now it's just f%÷#ing annoying to play. The stylus issue has never been addressed either. Move along to another developer; doesn't seem to be that anyone is listening and/or cares.

Whenever I am playing, no matter if the opponent knocks or gets gin... If I have only an ace left, I get "undercut", therefore, I get the score... Is this why you call it Aces Gin Rummy? Or was this ment to be played like standard Gin Rummy? The old version did not do this... wish we could play real people via wifi or bluetooth. I still enjoy the game!

Made it to level 6 and loved it then it froze and now wont even open up just a black screen.

Good graphics, Smooth play. Sometimes easy to discard the wrong card but taking an extra second addresses this mostly. Appropriately challenging at each level but can be mastered yet be able to turn the tables on you with some luck or a misplayed hand.

In two different hands today me and the computer discarded both 2 aces each then I picked up another. Then again the same thing with kings.when did card decks come with 5 of a kind?

Definitely the best gin rummy app I have played . It is challenging and winnable. One complaint ,and it is cheesy ,it just seems like they manage to pull it out at the bitter end during a tough game ...maybe I'm just a sore loser!! whatever the case, download this app, it's definitely worth your time.

Nice format, good graphics, and the game sounds are good. Negatives: I don't mind ads, but the NOISE of the ads are intrusive as you can't turn the volume down, which if you're somewhere quiet, it's v annoying. Your opponent often gets "out" within a couple of hands several times in a row, v lucky.

I enjoy playing but this new version is VERY slow to load. Even after the update that was supposed to fix it it's still incredibly slow. It reminds me of back in the day when you had to go get a cup of coffee while waiting for your pc to boot up.

I'm upset I deleted the other version I had. This new one sucks! I have rebooted my Nook HD several times and I still get a blank page. I want the other version back and for free. I paid for it in the beginning, not paying for it again.

I loved this game and do enjoy the larger graphics, but it is slower over all and commercials are very slow but I still play because it's the best that I have found. 5 stars for game 3 stars for new updated version
