About Conceptis Fill-a-Pix

Fill-a-Pix are exciting logic puzzles that form whimsical pixel-art pictures when solved. Challenging, deductive and artistic, this original Conceptis puzzle offers the ultimate mix of logic, art and fun while providing solvers with many hours of mentally stimulating entertainment.

Each puzzle consists of a grid containing clues in various places. The object is to reveal a hidden picture by painting the squares around each clue so that the number of painted squares, including the square with the clue, matches the value of the clue.

The game features a unique fingertip cursor which enables playing large puzzle grids with ease and precision: to fill a square, move cursor to the desired location and tap anywhere on the screen. To fill multiple squares, press and hold fingertip until cursor fills the square and start dragging to neighboring squares. The game also features a powerful Smart-fill cursor for quick, single-tap filling of all remaining empty squares around a clue.

For more fun, Conceptis Fill-a-Pix includes a Weekly Bonus section providing an extra free puzzle each week.

Was considering buying extra levels but found I was arbitrarily blocked from most interesting puzzles, including last 4 free levels as device is not a tablet. Zoom works well for large puzzles so can't see why. Look forward to newer version with this restriction removed.

This has been one of my favorite puzzle for years. I was so glad when I found out they were finally on Android. Now if I could just transfer my money on my on line account to my mobile account, life would be perfect!

M70%
by M####:

Help, help, please, have had to reinstall and now keeps giving unexpected error message seems to be giving me my purchases but cant play for more than a couple of minutes. This game is one of the best things for distracting me from worries ...i use tablet..Very enjoyable. Good challenge in the hard category

G70%
by G####:

Good challenging puzzles. Havent been beaten yet so some harder than "very hard" would be good. More non jumbo or large would be good as 50 × 75 too big really unless on ipad.

M70%
by M####:

One of the best games I played since I started playing mobile games around 2011. Tots time killer. My device has a small screen, so in some of the levels I can't even recognize the numbers, but I recommend it anyway.

M70%
by M####:

This update is exactly what the app needed to become perfect! Well, almost. I'd still like to be able to cloud save among devices.

W70%
by W####:

Great game, great implementation. I've found it's worth a few bucks for a puzzle pack--they keep me occupied for many hours!

C70%
by C####:

Great puzzles. Easy to use and understand. Everything you'd expect from a Conceptis puzzle!

H70%
by H####:

I love all kinds of logic puzzles but conceptis is fab.

V70%

nice game like it

M70%
by M####:

The game is great, but the new controls leave a bad taste in my mouth. The old cursor is much easier to use on a smaller screen, and the fact that it's been replaced is disturbing. Reviews for older versions praised the controls, but now I can't recommend this app to anyone. It doesn't help that bigger fingers obscure the puzzle when trying to be precise. At the very least there should be an option to use the cursor. C'mon Conceptis, I've been a fan since 04 and the apps had been great in recent years on android and iOS. I'll rerate if this problem gets addressed.

Q70%
by Q####:

Great game and intuitive controls, but very little free content. And the paid content is ludicrously over priced for a puzzle that is free all over the internet. It would cost upwards of $100 or more to unlock all the level packs.

M70%
by M####:

Great game but new puzzles are overpriced. Also can't reset puzzles I already have and free weekly puzzles are not very challenging.

T70%
by T####:

A brilliant app, probably the best I have found for this style of game. Would happily pay for the additional content if more reasonably priced but is currently far too expensive.

I70%
by I####:

I really like this game and the helps along the way. If I want to check my accuracy it is available. If I choose to play without any help at all that option is also available. Some of the small puzzles can be completed in just a few minutes. Larger puzzles can take 2 - 3 hours.

M70%
by M####:

its nice the phone has option to include tablet libraries, it would also be nice if the tablet could exclude non tablet libraries. i play it on both and would like to eliminate duplicate play.

N70%

Basic fill a pix is great. Advanced can be frustrating but it keeps the brain going.

Very nice game, it would be helpful if it was more explain for an advanced level

Another great puzzle from Conceptis. Puzzles are challenging and satisfying to do. Personally I'd love to see more Japanese style humor pictures, and have the tablet versions opened up for phones (or just something bigger than current sizes). Excellent customer service from Conceptis as well!

Great puzzling. Not enough free content or would have been 5 star.

M70%

Conceptis knows puzzles; been a website member since 2003.

M70%
by M####:

Muito bom. Viciante.

M70%
by M####:

By far my favourite app/game. I've bought multiple packs because they're more than worth it. I love the free puzzle you get weekly. When I had a problem with the app I contacted Conceptis via Facebook and they were quick and helpful. Definitely recommend this app, it's great to 'waste' time!

V70%
by V####:

I love this app. I play it all the time. The only draw back is that extra puzzle packs cost way too much. I've started replaying old puzzles. My memory isn't good enough to recall how I solved a puzzle a month ago anyway. Also, it would be nice to be able to see my battery percentage since this app does drain your battery pretty quickly.

by M####:

...and fun for logic lovers. Recently it's very touch sensitive, so too easy to make mistakes as I drag the red square around (new version?) Have always liked high quality Conceptis puzzles since I discovered them in Games Magazine. One more suggestion... When I touch the frame outside the puzzle (sides and bottom), it shouldn't color the active square. When the screen begins to dim for power saving, we have to touch to light it up again and currently the only safe area to touch is the top of the frame.

M70%
by M####:

Having to move the red square every time you need to change a square to a certain value is time consuming. I found myself tapping two times per square for each of the nine squares surrounding a zero. It was too much. I couldn't get past the second one before I felt like this was a waste of time...especially when I knew much larger ones were to come. You should be able to tap one square and change the value, not move the red square to the one you want to change. Terrible.

K70%
by K####:

Like the ability to fully shade the nine squares at once. I see one reviewer didn't spot the feature. Would love an option to reveal or highlight unfilled squares. At the end of a game, it can be hard to spot a single unshaded space.

M70%
by M####:

I love these games in print, but digital is even better. The setup takes a little getting used to, but once you do, it's a great control scheme. Gives my brain a work out!

M70%
by M####:

Im glad how well this translated to mobile. When you select single tiles though, sometimes your selection doesnt stay, or it changes to the opposite tile, which is a little annoying and takes away from the experience a bit.

K70%
by K####:

what's the point of having a cursor??

M70%
by M####:

Full of stumpers- can spend hours on them

Z70%
by Z####:

I've played their puzzles online for years. This is great, but it's hard to control the cursor at times. I end up having to redo sections when I discover that I've hit the cursor and marked or unmarked a square by accident.
