While great nostalgia, the AI does completely illogical things. The game is also WAY too easy compared to the original. Seems more like a beta than a final game. Worth the 3 bucks, but would be worth 30 bucks if it had full multi-player, better AI, and was more of a challenge like the original.

It's great to be able to play MULE again. I am hooked. I have played at least 100 games on this app version by now. One the one hand, I agree the AI opponents can be weak, you can be First Founder just about every time. On the other hand, there's a challenge in attempting to have a highly successful colony. Anyone can win with the 3 computer players in poverty, but to win with the opponents all successful too, that's the trick.

This is a truly accurate remake of the game I played on the Commodore 64 many years ago, with the addition of better graphics and sound at the level to which we're accustomed with today's devices. This economics simulation game is enticing to newbie MULE players also; I was surprised when my 9-year old son took to it so quickly. One significant shortfall is that right now you can only play against 3 computer simulated players; true multiplayer would be a GREAT add to make this game even better!

As others have said, it's a faithful remake of the classic game, with fun new graphics. However it lacks polish. Muting music and sfx doesn't always work, and isn't preserved on relaunch so I'm constantly having to fiddle with my device's volume. The decision to hard code the aspect ratio might be an attempt to evoke some nostalgia, but the thick black vertical bars on both sides of the app feel like an unnecessary waste of screen real estate. And no multiplayer? Really? It's a frustratingly forgettable app with so much wasted potential.

Faithful remake indeed.... but no multiplayer...? What were they thinking. Save your money, without the multiplayer there really is no point. How can you "collude" without a multiplayer, how can you inflate prices without multiplayer, the computer opponents are boring. I really wish the developers didn't stop short of the finish line.

I love the Mule game... this version is HORRIBLE, do not waste your time!! Waste of money.

The screen is all black hat when game is selected when played on a tablet. Not usable. Discouraged loved the original. Thanks for nothing

Great game! The original was one of the best multiplayer game of all times, and this one is a very good remake.

Loved it, but to easy and the ai sometimes acts stupid. Thanks for making this title. Please keep improving it.

I used to spend hours playing M.U.L.E in the '80. However, since my Atari was gone I did not have a chance to play the game. It is priceless and timeless. My son of 8 got the hang of the game. Please bring in the possibility of playing multiplayer via the net.

I am doing the happy dance today. I just played M.U.L.E. for the first time in years. Tech-wise the game plays flawlessly on my humble low-end smart phone. As for gameplay, it's a very faithful rendition of the original.

I really missed this game. Great job Comma 8 Studios. I actually took my SX-64 out of storage and the 5.25 MULE disk just to compare. This is an excellent remake although I do miss multi player collusion.

Very well done, very close to the Commodore 64 version. Graphics are a bit small, even on 5.1" phone. Would prefer the original graphical production/usage/spoilage, was really easier to read. Ability to finally skip an auction by tapping the top of the screen is very helpful. Music is a great modern version of original, and sound effects are near perfect. Playability is excellent. Not sure why 'computer players' were so dumb in my first and only play of the game, on intermediate level, the whole game seemed a bit too easy. Going to try 'tournament' level next time. Great game!

I was watching for this game since I heard about it several years ago. Definitly worth the wait.

Good, faithful UI. AI may be a bit daft at times.

Been waiting for this port to Android since the iOs release. Now if only it had multi-player network play it would be perfect.
