Golf Star™

Hoo boy. This is a difficult one for me. On one hand it's a good golf game with good controls. However, the multi-player kills it for me. I look at the score boards and see -15 for all the world champion stuff and wonder if it's legit. Players would have to one/two shot holes every time. You could say it's practice, however, the wind and hole position is random every time. Due to this, I'm uninstalling it, but I've enjoyed my time with it for the most part.

It's a fun game once you get to play. I don't know about anyone else, but my experience is a lot of loading screens. The game has to "load" every time I open it which seems to take longer each time and takes longer than other games. Also it appears there are files needed to be downloaded every third time I play. This game is good if you have 10-15 minutes to play here and there. If you want something with quick loads and very little wait time choose something else.

Latest guild battle change has ruined a very big part of the game. Game is top heavy.. only get the easy gold and points when u have played for years and by then u don't need it.. lose interest when being out driven by 200 yards..

avoid this game like the plague! it has an over abundant issue with crashes. a google search reveals this has been an issue for over a year. great game at first glace, unyieldingingly frustrating at its core. damn shame really.

This game is a data hog spend more on phone bill nothing left for game it gets stale. Not to mention spend all I have to get rose pink clubs over and over and over... again Lame

I really liked playing the game, but last night it told me that the server was down for maintenance and now this morning all of my progress is gone. Back at the very beginning and I had spent $20 on buying stuff. WTF?! I hope that you can tell me how to fix this. I posted this a couple of days ago and no reply yet, I want my money back. Over a week now and still no help. They steal your money and don't do anything about it. Complete rip off. DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM!

Error error error.. Poor update.. Automatically disconnected my gameplay while other player disconnecting themselves.. No star receive.. You cost my valuable time with this update(bad quality checking from your team) very poor.. What's ur compensate for this???

Few glitches that need addressed like when you lose connection by the time you get logged back in the game has finished and you've lost even if you have been ahead in game. Also the point rewards for winning a 1 v 1 game is shocking for instance if you win a game you will get 6 pts but if you lose then it takes 14pts off should make point rewards more rewarding

It used to be a good game. 4.7 update really screwed up things. Guilds are calling each other out for not boycotting, and 1vs1 went from bad to ugly as far as the matching system! They put a system in place for the tournament but a lot can't get there because the equalizing system isn't part of regular 1vs1 match play ? Kind of backwards I think. Had to give 1 star in all categories to get the point across.

Fun game if you like golf. It has managed to simulate all the emotions. Especially screwing up shots. They change their physics with every update and never address the one thing people complain about. The swing meter.

Updating my last review: This game is amazing. The graphics are unreal, and they have recently become very generous with giving away little rewards here and there to help you along. Thank you guys!

Wish they would add an option to adjust sound volume levels from the pause menu while playing a course. Thank you. ~ -When i became100% proffesional, got used to approach shots,& 'master-leveled' most of my various 'Shot-Types',the game took off to a hole new level- -So far, multiplayers I have gone up against are way too skilled and talented for me. Would really like a multiplayer mode where you have guidelines for shots & where it matched up player handicap a little more evenly. *****°Shot power bar glitching out again now. A little hiccup during a put here and there i can deal with, but it's worse than that again. ~Thanks for reading!

The darn cursor moves so fast it's almost unplayable. Use to work great on my old nexus 7 tablet. Trying to play on my new s7, not so great. That cursor moves waaaaay too fast

Tell you what I think. I think the game is rigged. Every time I try to putt a ball it's tops at 0.1 to go into the hole. I put it to the test. I shot past the little flag on the odometer to hit the ball and the ball still stopped before it fell in the hole. It did it every time. Why does it stop before it drops in the hole if you hit it harder than you're supposed to? Is it a bug are you not supposed to win I thought this game was cool low ratings but low ratings.

Annoying having to download updates each load up! Game play is simple enough for an arcade game to pass time

Sorry but I didn't like it that much because it's far too slow in loading which I don't expect from a game like this. One star only........time to improve the waiting time for loading I think.

I've been wanting to delete my Facebook account for some time now. Only reason I haven't is because of this game. I've been with Golf Star from the beginning. I've seen some bad updates before but this last one has DESTROYED the game. Buh bye Facebook and buh bye Golfstar. You knuckleheads piss me off

This used to be a pretty good game however the February 2017 update destroyed the twice a week normally competitive battles between guilds. A huge part of the game is no longer any fun.

Can't log in! When the "log in with Facebook" or the main log in buttons are pushed, nothing happens!!! Been playing for over 4 years! Haven't been able to get in for over 3 days. Need an email address for any type of tech help please!!!

Good game. Not a fan of the game controls, mostly putting. Seems to be a big pay to win game by all the things you need and how often the store pops up in your face after a match.

So as usual, everytime you twits "think" you're improving it, youre not. CRASHING AGAIN. EVERYTIME I OPEN IT.

You won't find a better golf app. Continue to improve. I will say I would be more inclined to spend more if the special price events were more frequent.

***** 5 stars !! It's the best golf game by miles. Graphics are stunning, the physics are amazing and the game play and controls are simple and intuitive. Start as a beginner and play your way up through the careers on ten beautiful courses. Modify and improve your character, outfits and equipment. You can join a guild (team), play in the live world championship (4 or 5 a day), play the weekly tour to win a trophy, play a 1v1, have a friendly skins game live against a stranger, anywhere in the world, just have a quiet career game or try out the practice field. The options are utterly huge and truly endless. I've played for over 2 years and the game is still fresh. It gets constant updates, upgrades, new events and daily prizes. My one and only flaw is about the professional career, you used to be able to play from 5th tees but now it's only 1st or 2nd tees and some are only 6 holes long ? I know you can play some on 9 holes but please make another career or make it a bit harder by making some courses playable from 5th or 6th tees. PLEASE ??

FUBAR since last update. Locker room not showing items and unable to play anything but the tour. Was very good, now a waste of storage space

The putting ruins it. The game is pretty good untill you get to the putting. It is so ridiculously over sensitive and easy harder than real life that it stops you from playing the game. Deleted.

Going to uninstall. The long loading every startup is just ridiculous. Shame because I really like the game otherwise

I used to love this game but lately, every time I play in an online tournament I get disconnected at least once. It's not my phone or my internet service, it's Com2Us's servers. FIX THIS!!

By far the best game of golf , impossible to play without putting guides . And a bit expensive. It's also hard to complete world tour as timing is off .

Didn't even get to play it. Once installed, a message indicated that the game needed an additional 560MB download which took forever even with my strong WiFi. After about 15 min it was only through 24 of the (whatever) 98 items had to be downloaded. Sorry, not worth the headache

Since after the update, I keep getting "you cannot play this channel" messages. Not changing my five stars though, because this is the only game I've found that keeps my interest. Very long-time player and I'm about done with this game.

Pretty close to real play and the challenges are their to. Great for all ages. So much to accomplish with bonus rewards...

i like it a lot, would have given it a 5, but it updates all the time you start the game. time the developers addressed this, it is very annoying, especially over a 4g data connection.

Should not have to be constantly connected to the internet in order to play this game. At times I don't have internet connection in all parts of this country. Uninstalling...

Absolutely awful, nothing feels fluid, very choppy game. This game would have to be completely rebuild before it would be any good.

Not able to play after the maintenance. It mentioned the version mismatch but there is no updated version to install. Uninstall & reinstall, still not working!!!

This game is irritating! You're only told once how to hit the ball, and if you weren't paying attention than the game is ruined. You'll end hitting when you don't want to, and vice versa. Also, there's no way to insert your username. If you have high blood pressure, avoid this at all costs!

It's a good game. I have advanced 15 levels so far today but getting harder. Not a game you have to spend money on but the option is there and I believe that if you do you get better items. I know this as a friend also plays the game.
