What's significant about this convergence of audio, graphics and gameplay is that you are COMPLETELY IMMERSED in Hammy's work, 'Hard Block Life'. Add to that pure 100% fun, challenge, and duration. Hammy have breathed life in a tired genre riddled with gimmicks and one-offs and has created an inspired and inspiring work. A standout effort in character development, one feels truly connected with the protagonist, or block, if you will. In the beginning one may feel the crushing weight of the world, dragging oneself along through much friction and turmoil. At inopportune times one may see oncoming danger and, unable to avoid through stresses of modern life, cannot veer away from certain doom. Only after calming oneself and realizing the potential for betterment of yourself and the world around you can you grok the world you live in and ascend to better oneself and the environment around the player. The player also sees strength of character, develops perseverance, consumes a variety of culture and art, and himself is blessed as he also blesses the game world. Another great work, Hammy, keep it up.

This game transcends the boundaries of what is awesome. I have to reconsider everything I used to think was awesome up to this point in my life. Thanks hammy for making me question my choices up to this point.

This game is wonderfully simplistic! The design is sleek, clean, and easy to comprehend. It's a relaxing game that presents a challenge and provides many of the elements of past classics. I've played other games from to this developer and he seems to only be getting better. I highly recommend his other game, The Getaway, if you have not tried it yet. Keep up the great work as I look forward to future releases!
