Operation Barbarossa for Android
I love your game series! So interactivr
A fun, smaller strategy that takes time, is challenging, and manages to be fun all at the same time
As in all games from this designer, nice straightforward UI and competent AI. Highly addictive and challenging, although it does take a few game plays to get a sense of when attacks are likely to succeed. The developer puts a lot of effort into it and is responsive to online discussion. Definitely recommended.
This is the best of the bunch.
Where is the artillery on the Eastern Front that is very very important and where is the air War?
Excellent game, easy and fun to play ????????????????????
My favorite playstore game behind hearthstone
Joni replied that there are many reasons for the lack of an "undo" function, chief one being cheaters using it to get ahead in the Hall of Fame (HoF). He claimed this has happened in earlier games. The additional memory could also crash older versions of Android. To avoid careless fingers, he suggested changing to a bigger hex size, and set "Misclick prevention" to "Very aggressive". The game will supposedly ignore any touch between 2 hexes in this setting. However, after playing for a month, I found there
A great challenge to beat. Well balanced and complex with an engine that feels very realistic while staying intuitive. It never gets old playing this.
Uses same basic system as Eastern Front, but at a higher level, quicker play smaller grid and less resource mgmt to deal with. As in all games from this designer, nice straightforward UI and competent AI. No ZOCs as in old Avalon Hill games. Biggest frustration is that combat results calc is a black box. You seem to get a big bonus the first 5 turns or so and then attacks that used to work will often fail with no real explanation of your battle odds, making strategic calculations very difficult, and you can't afford mistakes so this is a major difficulty. Eastern Front has same issue, but the resource mgmt in Eastern Front makes it a more interesting game overall.
A great challenge to beat. Well balanced and complex with an engine that feels very realistic while staying intuitive. It never gets old playing this.
great game
Good game
Great Hex Based WWII Strategy
Learning how to do encirclements and managing resources and fatigue is a great challenge. I love the depth of this game.
I question the level of Russian resistance.
So like the SPI and Avalon Hill games. Great replay value. Will definitely be getting others in the series.
I am happy to recommend the title. Each update comes through; have been playing since version 1.x and no joke I play Operation Barbarossa daily. Give it a try, Joni has many awesome titles and, I mean it, highly
Never the same game. Tried the lite version first, then bought the full. Very challenging.
After the last update I cannot attack and the unit is moving another direction, not on the enemy unit. Basically the game became unplayable....
I have a few Nuutinen wargames, and I have to say that they are possibly the best out there. Very detailed, and very tactical. Smooth gameplay, no crashes for me so far. Good marker and map graphics. I highly recommend this developer to anyone who enjoys a good hex wargame. I have a recommendation for the developer: Napoleonic wars. Thanks Herr Nuutinen, keep up the good work!
Excellent turn based strategy wargame. Units gain experience and learn new skills from combat. Has all the classic components: supply, air power, mobility, encirclements, and weather. Variable setup and a good AI makes for a lot of replay.
The more you play, the cooler it gets. They say necessity is the mother of invention. The need for a simpler hex strategy design for android has resulted in the Conflicts Series. The beauty of these titles is they are all about maneuvering, supply and terrain, without the need to keep track of a lot of stats. Plus, these are your games once you buy them, with minimal to no permissions and no internet required to play.
I found this game very interesting. I had a hard time putting it down. The Russians were very irritated. You kill him, and they keep coming back.
Games come a long way, still improved scale not too big or complex, still trying to figure out encirclement. I think it was Jonis 1st game
Flank and encircleeee !
Great turn based old school game.
Spy groups have become an expendable unit.
So addictive
Great game
Much improved over time.
Within the limits of a cell phone application, this strategic level game is really outstanding-and continuously upgraded. I will not hesitate to get products from this developer.
Addictive wargame. Replays well. Excellent response from developer when you contact him. I've enjoyed everyone of his games.
Great game

The constant improvements done to the game already help make this great game better. This is totally bit the same game I first played which is fun.
Very addictive I love it
Great game
This strategy war game is perfect fit for phone. As a strategy game I found it much deeper and more compelling than I expected. Well done Joni, worth every cent!

Great game, developer has been tweaking and fine tuning for years and it shows. Each game is a little different and variability (luck) plays a role with weather effects, terrain and fog or war all impacting play. It forces you to become a more balanced strategist, also has a fine tactical feel with some nuance to master. I also really appreciate that the only ads are from Joni, I have purchased a bunch of his other games (definitely worth checking out the catalogue). And the quotes are great!
