Conflict-Series: Fall of Normandy is a turn based strategy game set on the western front during the Second World War immediately after the D-Day invasion on June 6th 1944.
You are in command of the German armed forces and you are tasked with stopping the Allied invasion by eliminating all landing beaches in Normandy - while enduring the constant Allied bombardment limiting your mobility. Troops at your disposal range from the fragile Ost battalions to the battle-hardened Waffen SS divisions and Panzer VI Tiger formations.

I know this is D-day, but I wish it was similar to your other games: like an Ultra Easy difficulty, actual clouds for the storms. Simple things like that.

Only thing i don't like is the ai is weak when you use the more difficult settings instead of ai getting smarter they just make the allied units stronger

This is another classic WWII battle you can make as 'deep' or as 'shallow' as you like. You can customize the game board in myriad ways, making it easy on the eyes. You can knock out a quick little campaign, trying out a new idea, or really dig in and make the game last for days. You get out of it what you put into it...another great game, thanks!

I think it's well established by now that the Conflicts series is a must for any wargamer with an Android - and this is a great place to start. Not too big and not too difficult, this game clearly favors the German side, but still provides a challenging experience. Addictive and easy to learn, this is a scenario where you'll learn to win not by sheer numbers, but by outmaneuvering your enemy, combining your forces and keeping adequate reserves.

Joni's games are really pioneering efforts in bringing true historic chit shuffling wargames to the handheld gaming devices. Blazing a trail into many different conflicts through many different eras, he has shown his wargaming engine is more than capable, to bring history soaked entertainment to mobile wargamers. Fall of Normandy is a great introduction to his engine, where very simple user mechanics can build upon one another to form a deep wargaming experience.

i beat this on my first time, just group up & charge at the edge beaches it lacked the epic feel of eastern front (which i play for days & cant beat ugh) & i just got civil war & lost twice so far these nuutinen games are just too cool!

Im a veteran video wargammer of 30 years intensive experience. Game is good, but too easy. Should increase slightly 10-15 % allies bombardement effect. Should also add some allies commandos paratroopers units of strenght 1, for defense, and strenght 2 for light offensives. Could also add some naval bombardement effect if landing is failing after a few rounds.

The hall of fame is a joke. It is not possible to win in 27 turns. The beach heads alone have 8 hp each. Whom are you trying to kid?
