American Civil War (Conflicts) for Android
Fabulous digital recreation of the old Avalon Hill -type board and counter games (from the 70s). Enough to keep you thinking. Winnable, but not too easy! I suspect a lot of playtesting was involved in the development. And the games are better for it!
ACW is a great game. I really wish it had some naval units. I want some ironclads. I think the mud of the Western Front is next. Or, will it be freezing my buns off at Valley Forge :-).
Easy to play and very intense
Great.....
Once you get the hang of it, really good game. All for less than a movie ticket! I'm buying next game now!
Only complaint is from my wife. I get addicted playing this game and she gets angry.
Awesome
Strange to have no artially units seem too out numbered
Only thing this game lacks is graphics. The strategy is superb
One of my favorite tablet game of all time
Love civil war history, the game i played well too often, really addictive! You have done an amazing job! One thing is that once u establish mayor control over the country, it gets painful to fight all the left overs. Hence keeps dragging at the end
I enjoyed this as much as Barbarossa. Nice new touches such as supplying your army. Tip, get your rail network up and running asap. You'll soon need it! The railways allow you to reinforce/evacuate/supply, just as happened in the real conflict. Great game.
Great game hours of fun
However it leads me to believe that there are more versions of this game
Watch out it can be addictive!
Another game game from this author
A great strategy game! A little bit of AI "katsup" (catch up) toward the end of the game.use your head, it is always better to encircle than to fight
Reminds me of wargames i would play with few guys in jr high....so far spent a few days playing and feel the pressure that Robert Lee probably felt with a smaller army. Id give it 4.5 stars if i could. Could use more guidance on battle odds...seems fatigue and time plays a big role such that in 1862+ very few battles are won without extraordinary effort~ surrounded units even with low points that would have been killed easily in 1861 are almost invincible.
I will be buying more of this series of games.
Good game if your a civil war buff like me.
Great game.
Great game, keep making them
Good turn based strategy game. No bugs or glitches yet.
Easy to see a lot af thought went into this. Well, the AI is a bit suicidal, but that's as well because otherwise you wouldn't be able to beat it.
my favorite installment in the best game series on the market.
Run of the mill basic wargame circa 1965. Nothing exciting or innovative or fresh about it. Like an antiquated Avalon Hill game with a phony Civil War theme draped on top of the same old dull framework. Blue VS Gray card game from 10 years ago is vastly superior
Well designed and comprehensive. No glitches.
Joni's games are fantastic! REAL wargames for real wargamers. I've purchased 4 of his games and plan to buy them all soon. By far the best wargames on the market. He truly listens to feedback and responds to questions quickly. Thanks for listening and adding the NATO icons Joni.
Barbarossa works fine. Bought civil war. It says installed but never showed on my kindle. Help pls
Ive mastered outflanking! The northerners fear me!
Loved this game very well thought and great com. Player makes your time spent filled with twists and turns
Man got sucked in and played 3 days straight super addictive
Excellent game in a long line.

Wonderful turned based Civil War Game!!! I bought most of his other works!!!
This a was a very addicting and well made game. However, there are a few problems such as a front full of 5 and 6s losing to a ton of zeros and one 5.
Takes me back to my board game days. Well done. I'll check out the rest of the series.
It's one of the best in my book!
