Anodia: Unique Brick Breaker

No wonder I couldn't find a good brick breaker. Because it's using a unique name, and rightly so. This. This is the brick breaker you want. Amazing design detail, game mechanics feel just right. The genius addition of the the vortex is what sets it apart by a landslide. It keeps the game from ever becoming a bore. With slight customization of different ball and paddle designs with a hint of a unique ball or paddle if you purchase all of the previous ones. Then there are perks. Really wish there was a perk to get rid of the slow paddle but I love the idea of the perks and the ability to only select from a few at a time. Well done guys. I'm shocked that there are no microtransactions for coins!

Great game. Only thing that let's it down. Is the cursor, as it's not quick enough getting from side to side. When the balls speed up your keep losing lives. Best brick breaker on here is 'Jetball' by far.

Nice game but needs some fixing. Side hitting the ball makes it ride at low angle and it takes a lot of waiting to reach the top, hit something and come back. This is a gameplay killer. There is inconsistency in the graphics. Some levels have flat shapes and it looks weird as the game has different style of design. Also the menu is really ugly. Change the font and make it look better. These things made me uninstall. Go for quality ;)

Love the game but what's up with the sluggish paddle? This is the type of game where lag time is silly . It's cost me lives. I love the variety but the lag really really sucks!

This is a classic game known as "Breakout", which I encountered played it in the early 1980s. This particular app has several well-executed improvements and refinements compared to the original.

Was looking for a game like the old school brick breaker games for PC... If you're a fan of those, you'll love this! Best graphics I've seen of the many brick breaker style games available on the Android market.

Because the background of the levels are high quality and beautiful, Is there a way you can create an app that is dedicated to the background as wallpapers? That would be awesome. Also, maybe live wallpapers too.

I really like the game so far, but ads for other games are annoying. I'd pay for a version without them.

A unique twist on the original block breaking game. Great graphics and no lagging or crashing.

Fun time waster. Would give 5 stars if the ball would stop getting wedged between objects and the wall. I then have to restart the game as I've found no solution (tried gravity field to no avail). Curious if anyone else has had this issue?? I have a Galaxy Note 5

You cannot have as much fun with a pseudo Arkanoid clone. It's incredibly imaginative, stylish and one hell of a lot of fun. Probably the game I go back to most when I don't want a thankless 2 hour dungeon crawl. I'd much rather play this!

This one of the very few (maybe the only) game I would recommend buying... I got it on free app (thank god!!) Best mobile game I have ever played by far, it keeps going and going and going! Edit : this is a game that just keeps giving !!! The variety and depth of levels is unbelieveable... cannot say enough good things about this game.. buy now !! You won't regret it ..

UPDATE: Ads are still prevalent, but far fewer video ads than there used to be. I'd still like an ad-free paid version. ORIGINAL: Love this game. Brings great original ideas and art to the genre. Awesome! Just incredible. But I'd rather pay for the game than put up with frequent loud video ads that are much louder than the game sounds.

If you're bored with the same old monotonous brick breaking games, try this. I love the variety - each level being different from the one before.

This used to be my favorite game on the iPod (iPhone wasn't so huge yet). And they didn't have it on Android forever. I'm so glad to finally see it on Android. Giving it a 5 out of past experience, but of course this is a new Port. So if I run into bugs I will change my rating.

Too many video ads, very annoying. I tend to play in silent but for every level the ads jump in as loud as possible

A very addictive game i keep playing all the time. The only thing that is most irritating and i dislike is their coins giving policy. We are only awarded 3 coins at the end of each level no matter how good we play and how many stars or score we made. This generosity can hardly buy us two to three items in the store.

great for passing time. there's a bug that gives you unlimited balls. just force close it when you lose a ball. when you start the game again, you get to start the current stage as if you didn't lose the ball. this bug is fixed in anodia 2.

The worst thing about this complete BreakQuest ripoff is that most stages and powerups are almost identical while it pretends to be completely original and "reinventing the genre". Disgusting.

AWESOME! BRILLIANT GRAPHICS; LEVELS ARE UNIQUE, IN THAT THINGS MOVE IN DIFFERENT WAYS… PINBALL-TYPE ACTION, FIREWORKS, COOL EXPLOSIONS!

Ads are overwhelming. Paddle and ball upgrades do nothing. Campaign forces you to restart from the very start. Paddle is slowed by default.... if not for the superb level design, this would be a poor game.

Until the mega annoying adds came along

Good way to take up time. The problem is it's hard to stop playing.

Brick Breakin' with a difference. It's a nice change to the old style of the genre. I can play it for several hours easily as i go back to levels to get those few stars that have eluded me.

This is a five star game but the video ads knock it down two stars. I would gladly pay a couple of bucks to stop the ads.

Deserves to be on everyone's Top Three thumb candy list. Keeps surprising me with creative coups d'etat.

It's well worth an occasional ad to play this brick busting, ball busting, light busting, flower busting, mandala-maze, evolving collection of challenges. Very very creative designing, intuituve and satisfying. Thank You!!!!!

5 stars for game but wish the touch sensitivity could be adjusted, its a little lagging & the paddle misses

Very pretty. Good play physics. Hours of engagement. Ads, but you can watch them for cosmetic play points--different color paddle and balls. Altogether my favorite brick breaker and for the hours of fun it gets five stars and a review.

The best brick breaker game

Neat twist on Breakout: the gravity well ability allows pulling the ball in the right direction when in a pinch, or comboing on a specific spot. A bit hardcore, but that's fine. (To be honest, I take more issue with the condescending description.)

Absolutely best graphics, most creative breakout or Arkenoid type game ever made. And I am a fan of that game since Atari 2600. There are lags when you move your paddle, nothing happens, and all of a sudden, the paddle is somewhere else. Paddle control will make or break a game like this. I hope it gets ironed out. But with Anodia 2 out now, can developers keep them BOTH working properly? Enough levels that you'll never finish, so they have to work on them quickly.

I mean I like the levels and the design but the controls are horrible. The paddle moves at a snail's pace, then if you accidentally untouch the screen then touch it again it moves to where your finger is and it avoids the ball. Lastly, you get 5 balls and that's it, you have to restart your campaign. That's an appalling game design choice in my opinion. I don't want to play the first 5 levels over and over and over again in hopes of reaching the 6th. Boring.

I love this game, the only thing is it needs way more levels to be a fun game, or maybe a "create you're own level" section. Good work developers! Love the game

This game has class and style! I can feel the satisfaction because all the elements are manageable. The speed of the ball is enough to control it and the paddle slides smoothly with its good looking pair of wheels. There is a lot of imagination everywhere and care for the instructions and performance. I'm beggining to play it right now and I think is the best brick breaking game available. Congratulations and thank's! The quick play allows to improve performances. Incredible game. Nothing better!

Although the concept is simple, this game is well made, with awesome levels and hella fun. It never froze, crashed or lagged. Not even once.

great game, full of surprises and engaging interfaces, a fresh take on brick breaker that never gets boring or tedious.

Tilt and Touch both work poorly and the aesthetic style isn't my favorite, but there are some cool gameplay features. Not exactly redeeming given how difficult it is to move the pad, but worth putting it up to 3 stars.
