... Let down by every level being randomly generated every time you play it. 30 odd levels in and it already feels like a game of chance as to whether or not the level will even be beatable. Even if each level was randomly generated but level 35 was always identical you could built a strategy through repetition but as it stands, every replay is open to throwing unfair situations at you that you can do little to prepare for.

There's a lot of input lag while I'm playing. When the screen becomes filled with obstacles, the ship slows down and will not follow my finger. Otherwise 5 stars.....

I'm old school. Love shmups. This is my favorite so far! Finished all three difficulties, and onto x levels. Hopefully we'll see some more weapon improvements in future updates.

Such a shame that getting new ships is so hard without using actual money. Really would be better if the game went full screen. Also doesn't sync your game data with Google Play Games, I just lost all my progress. That is completely ridiculous why doesn't it sync with Play Games?

A good bit of grinding to get upgrades, but over all a great playing game with replay value! You can spend real money to get ahead, but don't have to if you can stand grinding. This is my second restart on this game, I had made it thru all the regular levels and quite a way thru hardcore before I lost that install, gave up on it for a bit and now here I go again! Well worth it!!!

The whole game is just awesome! The music is so epic, the graphics are hands down the best, weapons are super cool, awesome ship design. One more thing... how many Endgames are there??? I'm already on Endgame ×5 mode, sector 1. Please answer, cause the screenshot with the 2 bosses on it look pretty challenging in an epic way, and would love to get to that "level." Besides that, the whole game is perfect.

Controlling your ship with your right hand works poorly because your hand blocks your view of the enemy. A simple way of fixing this would be having the game scroll the opposite way. Also when you upgrade your weapons they remain the same. My cannons are at lvl 2 yet they still only shoot one round at a time instead of two.

I can't remember the name, but it reminds me if the game i played like 10-15 years ago. I am enjoying myself, thank you for this stunning game. (My lord i sound like a freaking rating bot)

If you are expecting greater rewards with higher levels, this isn't your game. If you think upgrading your weapons will help you win harder levels, this isn't your game. If you are expecting the same type of enemy to operate in the same way each time, this is not your game. I don't mind random enemies, but I do mind the fact that upgrades don't seem to really do anything, that enemy weapons and ships act in a random ways that don't make any sense, and the one thing that truly irked the hell out of me was being shot at by something off screen.

The game has potential but needs some refinements. Its hard enough to play a sidescrolling shooter without your finger in the way of the screen which makes it more difficult to avoid shots. I suggest adding different control schemes. The hit boxes are too large around the ship or inaccurate, which means the ship is more susceptible to being hit by enemy shots.

Side scrolling shooter. Good game play with upgrades. I play it on my nexus and works well. Best of its genre to date bar maybe r type. Level 60 can be done with consumables. Hardcore mode is very challenging but still good

Very nice shooter! Nice atmosphere and mood, I only wish you were able to keep the upgrades instead of losing them when you get hit only once! Very challenging like the old school games it copies so well! Would have been 5 stars if not for the weapon loss after getting hit once. At least 3 hits is better than 1. Good work guys!!!

Straight from the off this game shows promise. As you reach a few levels in the weapon progression plus the solid, well balanced levels have you giving it 'just one more go'. You can take advantage of all the games features without shelling out (a direction thats getting rarer all the time) your hard earned. Definitely worth the download.

1st there should be a progress bar @ the top or bottom so you know how close you are to completing the level. 2nd there should be different coin values for each enemy type and those values should increase as your rank increases. 3rd you should be able to convert coins to cells & vice versa. Other than that, game is awesome...I'm in X4 mode & still can't stop playing.

Great game but the achievement start integration is buggy... It doesn't go back and pickup things you've already achieved... If you happen to have achieved them while not linked.. Kind of silly. Seams easy to check the stats and give the player the achievement if the stats show they have. Otherwise great game, waiting for version 2.

Just finished all 60 sectors! 100% completed. I'm going to take a break for now, then eventually I'll start the endgame x1 mode. The strategy of collecting and storing up cubes for later use, seems to works for me but you have to fully equip your ship in all levels of weaponry, I am talking about the basic four, cannons, torpedoes, proton beams, and Multi O.R.B.s . Highly addictive. If you're into shoot em ups, this game is fun and fast. First few stages are slow but once you pass a certain amount, you will have to start upgrading because bullets, missiles and lasers start to fill the screen. All the stages look the same except for some color changes but, the stage you are in looks good anyway.

Very entertaining and challenging. Love the upgrades but they are hard to obtain. I don't like when you get hit you lose all the options instead of losing them one at a time. Now that I'm on hard level 44 is very frustrating and the enjoyment stop. Getting gold is super difficult getting weapons leveled up don't help much on this level. Now the game force you to spend too much money in order to be competitive with the game challenge. Losing my interest on the game.

Beat it on insane mode without buying credits. This game majorly tests your reflexes and ability to strategize your movements. It gets intense but there are thrills to be had. Very fun, exciting, and hard and the music really gets you into the mode. Test your mettle and lets see what youve got!

I been playing this game ever since it came out. Is a very good graphic side shooter. Challenging enough. To get a new space ship does require pure saving, since it cost so much credit to get. Do recommending this game for everyone! You will like it!

because of it's gameplay and well... difficulty. It definitely challenges you. How you control your ship to survive "bullet hells" is definitely something I like about this game. You will have to move and upgrade your equipment strategically If you want to win in this game. 5 stars from me.

I've been playing this game for years. It's one of the first games I download every time I get a new device. Great casual game; takes a minute or two to get through a sector. But I can play this game for well over an hour, and do so on a regular basis. The only gripe I've ever had is no boss battles. Otherwise, pure bullet hell goodness.

There should be more like this. I had to invent new curse words because the old standards weren't vile enough when faced with simultaneous assaults by three-pink-shooters, cubes, itty-bitties, greenshooters, and crackpipes. (My terminology) When I closed my eyes, I saw orange dots spiralling in the dark. But I kept going back for more.

Was on insane x3 when the Play Games integration/acheivements were added. No way to go back and re-earn. One of my favorite games but would be nice to get those achievements.

Haven't played any other ones but it wouldn't surprise me if this is the best one available. Surprised that this can be free2play, free of tracking permissions, free of ads and free of nagging pleas for IAPs. The difficulty level is challenging but doable without IAPs.

I love this game best android space shooter. But it needs like an story mode because I've been playing it since it came out but it's just endless shooting without a boss or something please guys fix that :)

I would like to give the game 5 stars. The only problems I have is that I can't rotate the screen forcing me to use my left hand to control the ship. I would also like to replay completed levels, even without credits maybe. Just to mess with easy levels when I get stuck, like a breather between hard levels ✌

Made it to end game without buying anything, so definitely doable with a bit of grinding. After level 60 you start over at 1 on hardcore mode, then once more on insane mode to finally get to the endgame.

This is great, I just wish I knew what was going on. Oxygen torpedo? Are we trying to kill some kind of anaerobic martian? Red bullets look and sound worse than green ones, but are they really? Life is a mystery but it doesn't make it not wonderful.

While it may not be the best space shooter I've ever played its definetly one of the best side scrollers I've ever played, while you may die a lot it at least let's you keep what you earned that level.

This game is very challenging qnd also really fun it's a good way to waste time when you're bored.

Game isn't to difficult, but not to easy either. It is relatively easy to get the credits and energy which makes the game more fun.

I love this game I am addicted I don't know what it is about this game I just can't stop playing it I beat it like 5-6 times in a row I'm on like end game x mode x5 or something like that and I have everything and without buying anything this is definitely one of the if not THE BEST free games out there.
