IdeaTactics free chess tactics

This is my daily goto app for chess puzzles. There are lots of levels, so progress is easily measured. The positions look as of they arise out of real life situations that might occur in games. I would like each puzzle to be numbered or have some unique ID, as it would be nice to be able to refer to a particular problem when facing for later analysis or when sharing. Eleven out of ten!

Problems are very good. Nice feature:occasionally tells you your move is good but an even better one is available.

Ive been looking for an app with tons of free tactics to solve and this by far is the best one. It even has them grouped by elo rating. They get extremely difficult the higher u go, so its a great app to improve your chess.

Its ui is rubbish, and the problems aren't challenging enough

I don't understand why I'm getting stuff right or wrong, no help whatsoever.

Problems are very good but text clues are not very helpful. Nice feature:occasionally tells you your move is good but an even better one is available.

The problems are good. However, I would appreciate a further explanation of why a particular solution is the best, or at least the ability to see the continuance of the game.

It is quite good. But in some cases it is difficult to understand why a particular move is preferred over another. A little explanation will be helpful.

Instructive and gives scenarios that you might not encounter usually which improves your game.

Keep failing to sign in, just force the connection.

Interesting puzzles but rationale for correct versus incorrect moves would make app 5 star caliber. Also, rolling all the way back on multimove solutions is tedious if one move is wrong. Need a back up button.

they should pay these out to the very end. often puzzles end after the first couple of moves without being clear on the continuation. otherwise I'd rate it a five
