VERSUS: The Elite Trials

U just love to twist things up don't u? I thought I had a clear goal when I started versus on my status. As I play through, u don't make it easy. When I choose to be a good guy, u only give options where I will have to choose to avoid lesser evils. When I choose to be a bad guy, I just can't seem to do all bad. But it was easier than being the former. The choices resemble real life choices where u will have to make combromises. Just love the way ur head works man. Good luck on ur next one.

I highly recommend this game/story experience! Its important that you know going into it that this story is not a shallow one, as much as it may seem to be at first. You are going to need to think a bit deeper and even give yourself some time ruminating on it in-between playthrough's. If you feel lost or even let down somehow...I promise you..it's not the story..but how you are playing it that is at fault. You need to dig deeper into yourself and use your brain a bit more next time you play. Reflect on it. :) It makes a whole world of a difference! I promise.

It feels a bit shorter than the first one but still...the things that happen in this book. They were so amazing and I'm excited for the third book. So many questions to be answered. People to meet, romances to be fulfilled. ECT.

Got to say, I was very wary going into this one. After Hero Project Redemption and Versus TLO, I was expecting to give this a 1 star, lament the $4 cost and swear off all of the author's later works. Thankfully, I don't have to say any of that. This installment is easily the author's best work and handedly outshines even Herofall, arguably the best of the Hero Rise trilogy. Without getting too much involved in the story, many new game mechanics are introduced, one of which is the concept that a decision isn't always a "locked in" situation and that you can concurrently work towards multiple goals, some even diametrically opposed to one another. Plus there is a SUPER cool simulation that honestly is worth the price of admission. As I said earlier, the author had 2 strikes against them with his previous 2 installments and that is the one blemish on this otherwise spotless game. My only hope is that he can recover, learn what works and what doesn't, and keep making stellar games like this one. 5/5

I'm completely in love with this series and the elite Trails is another big win for this series ❤ the story is so beautifully done and it keeps you excited and eager for more through the whole book leaving you hungry for book 3 ! I'm buying grateful to have played this wonderful story and I'm anxiously awaiting book 3! I recommend everybody to get it

This is the best choose your own adventure type of novel I've read. Riveting storyline and great characters. I actually feel as though the characters have dimensions to them, unlike in most "Choice of Games" stories. Can't wait for the next Versus story.

The universe takes some getting used to, but the content and story, and the depth of it all, truly makes this a great experience. I only wish the next installment was out already!

Make a new one! It's so good! Worth the price if not more. Ebooks are still books and we pay for those, so I don't get the complaints about paying...

Zachary Sergi is basically the greatest author ever. You should read his Versus series and his Heroes Rise series as well. He does a great job. I wish you luck!

Warning: Immersion breaking SJW propaganda/Misandry heavily instilled in this otherwise very well written game. My previous review was one of frusterstion, anger and a slight feeling of betrayl by the writer however Mary Duffys understanding and allowance of a refund for me has really turned my opinion of Choice of Games around. Ok, so I had versus:tlo for a week before I managed to get through it. The first half in particular was hard to get into. Then everything clicked. And it was a Rollercoaster out there haha. You guys, give this series a chance. Then play it again for the thrills. It's like chili : better the next day

I played many different choice type games over the past couple years. I can honestly say that this is one of the best ones I have ever read. I'm so drawn into the story for Versus. Anxiously awaiting for book 3

A mesmerising experience. The storytelling and choices are fluid and extravagant. The pictures painted through the deliberate storytelling pull the player into an entirely new world. I found this to be a 9/10 unique experience.

Another incredible journey

Great series

Fantastic story. If you liked the first Versus (the lost one's), then you will love this one. It's such a great story and it picks up right where the first one left off. But this one is more exciting with a lot more action. There's tons, and I mean tons of choices that will either affect the story line, your stats, or your rep with others, and the stat system is nicely incorporated into the game. Always a good thing when the majority of your decisions actually make a difference in these games. Last but not least, it's longer then the first one which is also nice.

Amazing game! I just finished playing it and my mind is reeling! There are so many twists and turns, but the story gets extraordinarily in-depth. Especially during the time on the Prince's home world. I have never had a game draw me in like this! Can't wait for the next book to come out!

Simply amazing! Buy this fantasy sci-fi adventure if you want hours and hours of great content. I replayed this and the previous one so many times! Creating my own planet was an incredible experience, and I love we get to know more about this universe.

I'm so sad it's over! Fantastic story, fantastic twists, fantastic characters! I absolutely feel in love and want nothing more than to read the next story. Picks up right where the first versus left off.
