The Daring Mermaid Expedition

Why is it that if one is female then one always ends up being a lesbian in these stories? It's just laziness... Of course I have no problem with being a lesbian per session, but I being Bi myself... But it would be good to have it off with a man in one of these stories. Nice story about academia and mermaids.

I hate that you have to pay for the last part... If you're going to make us pay, at least make it later in the game...

I've been looking forward to this since I first heard of it, and I'm sure it won't disappoint, so.

It was very interesting and enjoyable.

The story is a blast, plain and simple. The writing is both involving and amusing; occasionally the writer breaks the "fourth wall" to say something either silly or extremely significant, and it's awesome. The experience overall is a bit short compared to others, but story-wise it is a perfect length. It doesn't bog down with filler, and it gives you more than enough difficult choices. I wholeheartedly recommend it to any fans of interactive fiction, even if you don't like mermaids. Yeah, it's that good.

Advertised as 71k words (the length of Colour of Magic) but definitely much shorter. Not a lot of variation between scenarios so low replayability

I played it and cannot remember much beyond an island and a mermaid. Play the free version. It passed the time.

The story is not too long, two hours of playing, exactly what I wanted. The writing quality is very high, and the choices do influence the outcome. I liked the achievements, too - give an extra sense of meaning. Good job!

The adventure is cut short and there's no much reply value in this story.

A delightful romp full of puffed up acidemicals and fantastical beasts. A current of menace runs through even the happiest of choices, which can be vaguely unsettling. I can't wait to play through all the endings!

Its short but trust me when i say this you will play through multiple playthroughs to get a certain result and i mean multiple. i still haven't got the result i wanted and dont even know if its possible to get now. but to sum it up for the price right now its a good game not on the choice of robot or the hero series level but a good game

I used to read choose your own adventure books as a kid and this brought back a lot of fond memories. Well written and fun! I hope new ones get released soon!

Good story and made me laugh alot. Wished there was more time with the actual mer-people, but overall it was still good. But still, it could use a sequel exploring that more... :)

Feels way to short and rushed

Overall it seems pretty promising and I'm also wondering what it may possibly have romance wise, I do kinda miss when you guys actually put the full free stuff as free and the pay games priced, it's a little annoying and somewhat disappointing to start it up and play through only to reach a sudden halt. I as a fan of your groups works, I check in pretty frequently to see if you guys have anything new, the first encounter was rather enjoyable, so I was somewhat sad to see the adventure unexpectedly halted

Having completed one playthrough of this excellent interactive story, I have no doubt I'll play it again. Still, the one play gave me a satisfying story in which my decisions had weight and meaning.
