About Pirate Game BETA
Welcome to our BETA of The Pirate Game!
Objective: Collect coins and use special items to attack your opponents - gain the most points and win the game!
Features:
- 4 Different game play modes:
> Normal - The game picks items at random, try to make the most of what you get.
> Free Choice - You get to choose the items for an 'easier', less luck based game.
> Buried Treasure - You pick the squares, but who knows what you'll get. Look out for rare, special items not available in other game modes.
> Knockout - Like the Normal game, but when a player is killed they're out of the game.
- Play against 2-7 AI opponents. AI can play randomly, or can play intelligently for a more challenging game.
- Tablet (landscape) mode. Includes a sidebar for widescreen tablets.
- Use the help (?) button for an explanation of what the different items do.
- Leaderboards, compare your high scores with your friends and other players
- Achievements, lots of them! Collect the badges and make your friends jealous.
(Note, leaderboards and achievements require signing in to Google+)
Future Features (planned):
- Multiplayer
- Shop. Use the points you collect across games to buy special items.
- Cloud Saves
(Note, until cloud saves are added the game won't sync across devices, and if you uninstall you will lose your points, wins, etc.)

The point of this game is? Surprise, surprise..,...NOTHING! From what I can gather, a randomized game board appears....the players take turns "choosing" items from the board. But there is no choice...no strategy....you can only "choose" the one item you get told to click on. No strategy whatsoever. But, if you enjoy being told what to do, then this is the game for you. ___________________________________________________ I appreciate your reply, however...the word "strategy" doesn't mean what you think it means. Placing the pieces where the player decides is irrelevant because the game randomly chooses which piece to play, essentially making the outcome pure chance.
