Pombie Zong for Android
Made with mobility in mind. Quick to pick up, simple, clever and fun for everyone, while still challenging enough to last. Leaderboards give you meaningful goals. Explain the simple "we each get a paddle and kill zombies" and you've got instant fun times with your friends, too.
Great remake of the good old pong.
This game is a lot of fun! The art is beautifull, a very, very polished game ( the game over part is genius ). It's a shame that it hasn't had that many downloads. Maybe a free and ad-supported version can break through in the play store? Anyway, If you are reading this, and you haven't bought this game yet, do so NOW, you won't regret it!
Pombie Zong is a great re-imagining of Pong. The gameplay mechanics are a blast, the graphics are fantastic and charming, and it's just a lot of fun to play. I just wish the game had online leaderboards and some achievements to add a bit more longevity to the title. Otherwise this is a near perfect game.
What's the difference between single player and two player(Co-Op)? On single player you control both paddles and same thing happens on two player but with another person(It won't know if your playing by yourself or with someone) I don't see a difference.
Love the art and spin on Pong/Zombies. More items in the beginning might keep it enganging for longer.
So I picked up this game from reading a retweet of the game dev from one of the indie dev's I follow. Got it for the 1$ and i have to say the game is fun, but bothers me. The extra "saw" power-up just seems to eat at my score as whenever you "miss" the saw you lose 25pts. Well Its likely you'll miss one of them if you get them going thanks to how the game speeds up the saws per hit. So you'll lose that outright, which seems off... as I could never miss the other saw. The "enlongated paddle" power-up seems to make it feel clunkier for me as I find i'm stuck just bounding diagonal shots the whole time and this seems to exacerbate it. Overall my biggest problem is how the paddles "feel". The middle of it seems too small to be good. I'm constantly finding i have to push "spin" onto the saw to straighten it out instead of just letting good solid bounces happen. The paddles just seem like they are meant to force diagonal play instead of letting straight play happen. This might be an intention, but its not something I personally like. I prefer having the "full control" of a bounce where this seems to remove it. But overall, the game is fun, and its worth the 1$.
Fun game, good price. Works great on my S3
