Grim Defender is a fast paced epic castle defense / tower defense (td) game that requires insane strategy and skill. The dark army is preparing an attack - fight with powerful crossbows, magic spells, traps, legendaries and modules - send the monsters back to the dungeon where they came from!
Endless levels, tons of upgrades, items, legendaries and infinite combinations!
Challenging gameplay through never ending levels and different game modes. Fully customize your defense as you like; freely combine items to build the strongest defense, place explosives, lightning or stasis traps to destroy your enemies or maze up using palisades. Use fire, ice, lightning or pushback spells as well as powerful crossbows combined with modules to stop the dark monsters. Upgrade your bow to shoot stronger arrows, improve your modules to deal more damage, use multishot or have splintershot. Upgrade your castle wall, buy more defense turrets and magic towers or even add an automatic turret to your castle!
Lots of unique enemies and bosses!
Fight your way from easy zombies and skeletons to powerful epic bosses - can you defeat the ultimate dragon? Become the greatest warrior!

Great game! Really enjoying it so far - seems fairly balanced and holds promise for long-term play, especially as content is added. Haven't found another game like this that holds up so well. Best facet seems that multiple build styles are viable - keeping with your starting weapon, using multiples or buffing a single crossbow, and numerous spells/traps. Primary complaint would be the pricing of the IAPs. They are completely optional, as you can acquire the resource through playing, but for those wishing to purchase some it still seems really steep for the small amount you can get. I would definitely be inclined to get some to help support the dev (who seems like a great guy), but can't justify it for the low amounts. There may be a concern about "pay to win" regarding the leaderboard ranking, but I don't really see it factoring in given the absence of multiplayer and the like (which I imagine would be based on your current wave so far as matchups go, if ever added).
