How to Play ?

The game screen is divided into two parts. The upper part of the screen is used for the guess On the left hand side, the guess is shown. On the right hand side, the keypad takes place. The number of active keys in the keypad varies according to the selected difficulty. For example, if the difficulty level is chosen as 4, then a total of 4 keys (0, 1, 2 and 3) are active. Similarly, if difficulty level is chosen as 7, a total of 7 keys (0 to 6) are active.

In the lower portion of the screen, the guesses made so far are displayed. After each guess, a new row is inserted into this list. On the left side of each row, the 4 numbers show the previous guesses. At the end of each row there exists two more numbers, one in green and the other in red. These two numbers together, show the success rate of the guess. The green one shows how many of the numbers in the guess match with the held numbers in correct position. The red number shows the number of correct matches with the held number, but whose position is incorrect.

Let's explain with an example :

Let’s assume that the held number is 1234. And let’s assume that the guess is 1253. As the numbers 1 and 2 match with the held number in the correct places, the green indicator will show 2 (we call this +2). The number 3 also exists in the held number, however, its position is not correct, that’s why the red indicator shows 1 (we call this -1).

While the held number is 1234, if the guess was 1325, then the result will be +1 (green 1) because the location of 1 matches, and -2 (red 2) because numbers 3 and 2 exist in the held number but their positions are incorrect.

You will win when you catch Green 4 (+4)!
