Type:Rider for Android
This game has came along way. Now that it's buried within millions of games in the play store's app list, I'll say that it's more of an educational app than a real entertaining game. Since the whole point of this game seems to be learning about the progress human beings had made in printing technology.
Device specific problem or am I being dense? Unconvinced about mixing content with game concept as well... Uninstall.
Game looks beautiful and nicely designed. It is not very fun at times due to unintuitive controls. I am not sure if I would have played it if I had not been interested in typography.
Um I don't know why but I can't see anything while I'm playing...i see the level only when I take screenshots or pull down my notifications bar and at the very beginning second and last second of the level, or the split second when I hit the pause button its kind of annoying and weird especially since I was really looking forward to playing this game. I even restarted my phone and it didn't work
This is worth every cent, and there is no frustrating in game purchases. Really smooth to play but a slight interest for typography may be needed.
If you like to learn about history of written languages but have difficulty to stop playing games then this is perfect.
Game launches, and then a black screen with sound. Can't refund either. Developer ignores emails.
i have never played such an immersive and intuitive game on the Play Store since NightSky. highly recommended
As a graphic designer and typographer I love this game. It has so much history and information on typography in it. As an avid video game player I still love this game. Puzzle solving is simple and intuitive while keeping the player engaged.
It kept crashing do not get this on an android device
Incredibly original, and so immersive... A breath of fresh air in the world of android gaming.
This game is incredibly unique! I have never played anything like it! A true work of art! The way the music blends with the outstanding visuals and dynamic enviroments makes this game a must for any history or music fan! Definitely worth the money!
I'd love to play it, I really would, but it crashes constantly before I get to the title screen. Can this be fixed please?
It's a crime that this original, gorgeous game has so few downloads. Especially when you look at the 5h1t that's for sale these days. Brilliantly done, Devs, hats off to you
You managed to combine a high quality arcade with excellent historical content communication! Awesome atmosphere!
I love how intellectual this game is. And the wonderful music. Its like Limbo with fonts
would be really cool if not the stupid tetris level and the fucked up controls had ruined it.
Amazing!! Well done...smooth as a baby's butt...very impressive, a fun fun way to learn our history --- astronomical amount of information!!!
I think this is more of an interactive educational art piece than a game.
I love the game it is so important that its good to whoever said that this is a very dumb game I hate you
Fun game with some challenge. I personally love the extra educational facet.
The app is beautifully designed and the game play is awesome. I'm actually a bit into the subject matter but even I don't care for it in a game. It's a bit of an odd topic on which to base a game. Nonetheless, one is free to ignore topic and enjoy the beautiful designs and fun game.
Great game, but it made my phone reboot and shut off at random times. Nexus 5, 5.0.1
would be really cool if not the stupid tetris level and the fucked up controls had ruined it.
although I haven't finished it yet.
In my view, this isn't a game. It's a history lesson. And I'm the type of person who enjoys education. The actual gameplay is a bit repetitive, but the history of typography is what has me hooked. Learning how forms of writing have evolved over centuries has been fun for me. However, I know this type of game isn't enjoyable for everyone. Perhaps a free version containing only a few levels might be a good idea to try to get more players.
Love this game, I'm the cat and it's my ball of yarn. Lol
Freezes on headphone screen & will not move past it on Note 3 & SG3. Game looks amazing but this needs to be fixed. Update: Now working perfectly on Note 3 and Galaxy Tab, gj developers!
Take a moment to learn the history of typography through gamification!
If you are interested any part or any art you will love this game. Eyecatcher graphics and easy puzzles will make you force the game quickly and end of the game you will be learned a lot ;)
This is a game that is meant to be taken more as a piece or art. The game itself is entertaining, but only for about 15 minutes. After that, the motions just become repetitive. To sum it all up: Beautiful artwork, Less than average game.
The platforming seems bland at first, but they do keep introducing one-off mechanical set pieces as the game goes, which is nice. Don't be fooled by the glam: the history of typography isn't that interesting. The excerpts are substantial enough to make collecting collectables a little more exciting though, so that's nice.
Really nice and beautiful game with a fun, calm, creative gameplay, great artwork and immersive atmosphere with a very nice soundtrack. It is a nice way to go through not only the history of typography but also of language, art and in the end... mankind. I really recommend it especially for designers, anyone interested in typography or just those who enjoy a fun, aesthetically pleasing game.
Great graphics, and a good idea to have text content be a reward for finding objects in-game, but there are many problems. The level design is either boring or frustrating, there is no sense of challenge or achievement. The controls are spongy, is this a problem of the Android port? There are also a LOT of issues with the text, which is surprising. Kinda let down by such a promising looking game...
Calm music, easy mechanics and just astonishing literature history as you play the game. If you like to play games without losing any brain cells, this is a very good game to play.
This game is sick man .good job French, you prove it once again.
Very intuitive and beautiful. I loved the music and the anniversary price so much. A must-have for designers and type lovers.
The controls, the fluidity, the music and everything to do with the minimal design were amazing and made for a great playing experience
Keeps stopping after Gothic and closes when reopen it close s at the second part after Gothic.
