I am a brave knight for Android
Not as profound as it seems to think it is. The artwork is nice but overall the game is pretty dull. Listening to a wonderful song that moves you, having a deep conversation with someone interesting or just sitting in peace and quiet and contemplating life is much more worthwhile and deep than this. There's nothing particularly deep, interesting or thought provoking about it unfortunately. It just looks nice and I think a lot of people will just like it because it's 'different', which doesn't = good
It's a really good concept and I think it could be even better if it was fleshed out more with even more story to it. One thing is, I'm a dyslexic and I find it harder to write my letters so for letters like M for example it took a long time to pick it up. But the story is good and really was some food for thought. I think if the creators flesh out the story more and maybe add in a few chose your own path type things to the story it could make it even more interesting
This game is a very unique one. Fitting music. Unique art style. Kinda like Thomas was alone. All though drawing letters so that your character speaks out may look unique but it just sucks. It doesn't recognise what I write. Even with a stylus. But the game is accurate what will happen in our life or already happened. I recommend it
While the story behind this is somewhat thought provoking, it is little more than 100 words worth of a story. It is not a game as there are no actions that affect anything. You must simply draw the letters to get the next word. A simple next arrow could have replaced this mechanic. To complete this, it took me about 10 minutes. It is not worth the download.
I personally loved this game. Yeah, it wasn't the most interesting or the most action packed game, but it was reality, and to be honest, we don't see a lot of that in video games. The artwork was simple but effective, and I loved how drawing the letters actually related to the speaking. The GG in the wedding was questionable, but other than that it was really cool. The letter recognition also worked very well for me, and it even recognized me writing N a different way than the picture showed, which I thought was cool. 11/10 ♡
I... I don't even have words for this game. I had the best passive game experience of my life. Don't change a thing. Maybe make it more sensitive to letters, but other than that, it's a great game that makes you happy, then gives you a slap to the face. Just... Beautiful.
Uh..yeah. At times it would get really frustrating because I would write a letter and it would ackknoledge it. And I didn't know what happened and who were the three boys at the beginning and what happened to the rest and is the orange one the son or friend and did the son do everything the dad did or was the dad replaying his memories.....I just dont get it. But cool music.
You just perform a meaningless task to advance a short and ultimately bland story. Nothing you do changes any outcome. The letter drawing is just a pointless gimmick that doesn't even work reliably. At least it's short and free.
Goods: Great music, graphics are charming, individual scenes are well laid out, text recognition was fine for me, interesting storytelling concept id like to see explored further Bads: Theres little depth to the story, almost cliche. Little twists or heartwrenching moments, if any. Quite underwhelming really.
I don't know what I was expecting going into this but going along with the story, adding just letters, was relaxing. The story was moving and got me thinking about life and growing up. I thoroughly enjoyed it. It's not for people who are looking for a challenge or an involved game. It's a casual game at its finest.
I didn't. And now I just wasted 15 minutes of my life. It has a kiiiiinda interesting idea, but it doesnt follow through and it CERTAINLY, didn't make me question life itself. Plus, the best and most intriguing part of the trailer is a fakeout.
It's a 5 minute game that will waste your time. You marry, Have kids, then die. Nothing good. Please stop making games if it's going to be the same.
Though the story plays quite slow, it is worth finishing once. All throughout are full circles that reflect values of empathy and life. With a perfect ending, 'I am a Brave Knight' is one of the most emotional and simplistic interactive stories on the play store.

It's not your typical phone game and it's replay value is quite low. It's very short but definitely worth playing and the concept is one that I've never seen before and I'm quite an avid gamer. Quite an experience. Only thing I can suggest is maybe making providing more options on words to write, kind of like making it choice based with different endings depending on what you choose to write to add some more replay value.
Food for thought games have very little of a job to do, and this one doesn't do any of it particularly well. It explores a very simple, well known concept with no unique twists and turns or anything that deepens it beyond that. The mechanic is nice but does little to immerse the player in the world and story as is its job in this kind of game. This is basically junk food, all of the fundamental features but none of the value.

Very beautifully made story about life, with interesting controls and great music. This game is extremely short indeed, but it's a lovely few moments. The only negative thing is that some letters need to be written in a specific way (like to "t" needs to be written with the top first)... otherwise it's a simple bitter-sweet story, written in an interactive children's book sort of way.
What I really loved was the artstyle and the interactive aspect of it and would love to see more of that in the future. However, the gameplay is rather boring. As it stands, the only challenge is making an algorithm understand your writing. It would be more fun if the symbols were new to us, so that we had to learn to draw them. The story was bland and the "GG" during the wedding just ruined its mood of reminiscing for me. And I still don't get how the title ties into it at all.
I usually never rate anything, but I had to rate give this little gem a rating. It's lovely, and atmospheric to say the least. I had goosebumps throughout my body while playing this and I have no idea why, the music is extremely nice, and I just.. Yay. Sure this isn't the proper GAME everyone thinks of this to be, it's more like a visual novel type of a game, but nevertheless, it is definitely worthy of a 5 star. I loved it!

This is really fun I wish I could just play the music over and over again. Nice job, but sometimes it doesn't respond well to B, G, and D. But great. Nice story....Please make more with a better storyline though and more action stuff
Yes short, but I think that is partly the point in my opinion. The story of life is short and it this a brilliant little interactive story. Genuine gave me goosebumps. I think people aged 30+ will certainly be able to relate to it and it's message/story. Well done to the guys who have made this. You made me feel more emotion in the 15 min playing this than 99.9% of the thousands of games I've played on many formats have ever done. Excellent.
The graphics weren't that good. I liked the music, even though it was always the same. Only thing this game has going for it is being different, but I would not be happy if most games decided to copy this gameplay. Also, it was sort of frustrating because of how picky the game was with letters, especially E.
Honestly pretty disappointed with this game, it's cool but there's nothing so special about it; nothing even close to the "Overwhelming experience that will change your perspective of life." It was too short and there was a significant lack of detail that denied me any attachment to the characters. I get it's a story game, but the story wasn't interesting.
I know there aren't much screenshots to preview the game, but in my opinion, the preview screenshots kind of ruined the game. It ruined such a good storyline as the events suddenly became super predictable. Other than that the storyline and idea was great. It may be short, but it holds the 'story of life' and gives you a new insight towards life (which for me was to leave a lasting legacy that will help people). Overall, I give it a 4/5 because of the spoilers in the preview screenshots, but great game.
This game tried to put into place some kind of emotion in this game but there are so many other games like this and this one wasn't any special in any way. Also the game play was hardly anything, but I can see that gameplay wasn't what they were going for. Even still, the drawing mechanic was unresponsive and excepted when I just scribbled yet not when I tried. This game had no special qualities and wasn't worth the dowload. There are so many better games like this that you can play online so I recomend not getting this
Its a game that requires pretty much no skill at all. Its really simple. The whole point of that is probably to let us focus on the story. The story is pretty average, you could make it much better and make it a bit more interesting. The story could've appealed to me more if the characters didn't look like fried chips dipped in food colouring. Its okay, nice and short game to use up some of your time. Definitely could be better.
It's all a drag, the handwritting recognition is poor. The story is...uninteresting and the same thing we see in real life and movies. Waste of time. Let me sum it up, you kid, you normal life, you grow, you marry, you make kid, kid does same life you did. Bam, revelation? Overwhelming? Give up story based future games. Don't think you are a brilliant writer.
It was sad but meaning full this should be the meaning of life. To live and keep the world cycling (:)
An interesting attempt at an art game with great visual style. However, it does falls a little short. The story is quite bland and the game mechanics don't add to the experience as much as they should. Still, looking forward to seeing what the developers come out with in the future.

The art, music and characters have real good potential but as far as calling it a "game" is concerned I wouldn't agree. You're more there to make to story get to the next page than to actually make a difference. If it was a choice game, like the little kid claiming it wasn't him who ate the cookies, it might have been better if you got a multi choice option to either get him to tell truth or lie like most kids do. Just an idea.
This has to be one of the best game I have ever played. There is a lot of emotion in it that makes this game what it is. There was love, hate, adventure, and everything in between. This game made me cry almost for ending. I hope you guys can make more stuff like this that is just as good or better than this.
There really isn't much to it more than what's shown on the trailer video. The art style is somewhat nice but the story is too short and too straightforward, not to mention predictable. It didn't change my perspective on life in any way. Only good thing about this “game” is the style and the music. If you`re really curious just download and give it a try, you'll be done in 5 minutes anyway. I'm sorry but I don't recommend it.
The music was nice and I liked the creative approach in terms of the graphics, but the plot was very basic and the ending was pretty predictable less than halfway through. And I hate to be too critical, but the cancer cliché was almost unbearable. I feel like the challenging game "Duet" has a deeper meaning than this, and that's not even plot-based.
I have read a few reviews on this and I just want to say that this game was beautiful. Many people seem to not like it because it is simple. Honestly, I wouldn't really call it a "game ." it took 5 minutes to beat, but in that time you are sucked into the short story of this one man's life. With every letter you experience the same joy, loss, anger, and nostalgia that the main character feels. A lot of people wanted more, and I could say the same, but the fact that it is short is kind of the point.
And this game proves that. It's short and simple yes but it's a frame that you can imagine things from, the scenes are realistic since nothing fantastical happens and it makes you realise how quickly things will change. Or how dull life can and probably will be. Or how you can be contempt with family and loved ones. There are so many readings of it.
I know you guys tried to create something beautiful and special. But you failed miserably at the implemenation stage. That gameplay was horrible. A very cheap way of making the game look like as if it could take you longer than a minue to finish it. If you can't create good handwriting recognition, then don't implement it. This was a waste of time.

This a great game i love it so much very deep and emotional. it started off a little weird but i like abstract ideas and concepts so i stayed with to the end and boy was it worth it. the ending was perfectly executed for all the characters being blocks without animation. it seems like a stupid game to others but this game isn't based on gameplay. its based on the thoughts and feels that you get while playing it. It raises so many questions i can't fit here like why is blue the only one who can talk? 11/10
