7 Little Words – Daily Puzzles

Update: I have reinstalled the game after the update from the developer below. The ad frequency seems to be much reduced (only one in playing four games). Many thanks for the prompt response and explanation of what happened. I must admit that I really missed this game in the few days that I had it uninstalled. -------- I used to really enjoyed this game and look forward to the daily puzzle. The recent versions have implemented pervasive advertising that has sucked all enjoyment out of the puzzles. I just uninstalled it.

I have played this game every morning with my coffee for the past several years. Loved it. Great way to wake up. One of the first apps I download on a new phone or after I do a reset. It was fine when they added bonus puzzles where you had to watch an ad before playing. At least it was Clearly written so you knew that if you wanted to play, you would be required to watch an ad. I totally get it. Sometimes I played a few games that had ads. But now they have integrated ads to the one free daily puzzle that was previously ad free. I don't use a lot of apps, and I only have 2 "games" because I try to conserve data. I am sad to say I will be uninstalling and will only be enjoying the daily comics with my coffee. (Oh, and they say they offer a free puzzle pack with 50 free puzzles. Called "Sunrise" I believe. It is only 25 now, so their description is no longer accurate.)

Really used to live they game but with every update they would change it to include more ads. This left a bad taste in my mouth. I'll be installing all of the games I have installed from them. Great work on the games and very fun. But don't like losing control of app as it jumps to another ad.

Was a great daily mental excercise until the ads showed up. I have had this app on my phone since my old galaxy s2 but uninstalling now. Way to sell out guys

EDIT: The number of ads have now been tuned down considerably vs when I first posted this review. Original review: The new ads are overwhelming. A few ads are fine, but there are so many that it really interferes with the gameplay experience

I play this every morning with my morning coffee. Challenging enough to kick start my brain. One suggestion.... Put a mute option on the ads for the bonus puzzles. Way too loud.

Game used to be part of my daily routine, but now I have started getting ads before I even get to see the free daily puzzle. Incredibly disappointed in the direction the app has gone.

Used to love 7 Little Words, until more and more ads were added to it. I totally get that the developers want to earn more, but it's frustrating and makes me want to uninstall the game.

The recent update notes "functional and analytical improvements." That is code for huge, full-screen annoying ads. If you want to serve ads that bad put a banner on the bottom like everyone else. The full-screen interruption creates a very poor user experience.

Used to be a fun game until you updated it and threw in a bunch of ads. Otherwise I would have given it a five. Too bad.

Used to be good. Now full of adverts. Uninstalling....... Update.... Despite you claiming you made a mistake... it is uninstalled and will stay that way. Thank you and goodnight.

Simple little app that always -works-. Uncluttered, intuitive UI. Is one of the first apps I use in introducing apps to new users. Developer extremely responsive to feedback. Great all the way around! (edited review)

Oh my gosh! With this latest update you get ads everywhere! Load the app you get an ad! Start a game....ad! Finish a game, yep ad! The app developer must be hard up for money.

Ads? Since when? I get it. You want to make money, but the ads are annoying. Stock with selling puzzle packs.

Updating my review: The issue with too many ads appears to be fixed, it's back to being a great game!

Great and simple game. I love it. A great feature to maybe add would be to be able to click the words at the end of a solved puzzle and see the definitions.

7 Little Words is a fun game that has opened this Writers' vocabulary to new words and sharpened my crossword puzzle skills.

Ads have arrived to the daily puzzle. Downgrades my rating.

This game will not open most of the time..very frustrating.

Thank you × 12..thats how many times it was crashing a day. And I loved the canned response. This game is and always has been awesome. Great way to pass the time away, no ads unless YOU select to view them (aka free extra puzzle). Also enjoy the way the words are connected some times.

Latest Update claims functional and analytical improvements... Instead it force feeds more ads before and/or after doing a daily puzzle now. Uninstalled. I honestly loved this app and spent a ton of money on it on my windows phone. After switching to Android, the app was great for a long time, even though I was not able to access all my previously purchased content. But this is the last straw after that b.s. wifi data permission previously. I feel I can no longer consider the developer honest. Removing other dev's apps also.

A wonderful game, very unique. Would rate a 5. However lately it has been displaying a crash message "7 Words has stopped" even when the game has been closed and it doesn't appear to be running. Not sure if the crashing is connected with the free puzzle you get for watching a video ad. Update: Problem appears fixed. Back to a 5.

Apparently this last update broke it. I only get a blank screen. Hope they fix it cause it is really a fun game. So disappointing

It's a crossword style game without words crossing bc you choose word chunks from a bank to formulate the answer. Great go to when you only have a few minutes or relaxing at home.

What is happening to my favorite app? There was a new addition called "Free Puzzle Playground" which already is on volume 6 and despite accessing the app every single day I saw it only a week ago. To add to it, the puzzles just don't open. I keep getting a message "internet not available, please try again later" but everything else keeps functioning.

The best game ever. I must play each morning to see if my brain still functions & look forward to the daily puzzle.

I don't get some of the clues but overall enjoyable.

Lots of fun and a great way to keep your mind active. Educational too since I've learned lots of new words doing this puzzle.

I look forward to this game every day. I just wish I could find a version that had a lot of puzzles you could play one after the other.
