Moxie Classic

Absolutely love it. It's fun, it's totally addictive and I can't stop playing. It would be great if you could delete the letters after a twaddle, so you can make a smaller word if you wanted to. But I still love to play Moxie more than I love 7 Little Words... and I really love 7 Little Words. Best game. Ten stars.

It is very American and use American words and local language. Some proper nouns are accepted and not others. I would like to be able to delete letters or slide letters into the space next to them. Once a letter has filled a space you can not empty it. Don't know if it is possible to win. Some Moxie words are actual words. Will likely to uninstall.

Took me awhile, now i can't put it down! Like that the tiles are big. Relaxing. Have all their apps.

A nice word game, with a bit of a difference from the many others available. Excellent pressure-free brain exercise.

Good unique game

A quick game to pick up any time and get your brain ready for thinking. Great for kids too - exercises their early spelling and vocab skills. Good for all ages and abilities.

This game is simple and addictive, but it gets very repetitive without any new Moxie word categories.

My only suggestions would be 1) a tutorial that's not a video and 2) multiplayer mode! Fun game though.

It's fun to try to exceed previous scores. Good game.

Love this game. Having no time limit let's you really use your mind and be creative. I like being able to plan ahead for future words, peek at the moxie list, and find strategies to score higher. Wish you could get a small bonus for using words on a different list, but still a great word game.

Once you get the hang of how to create the highest scores, this game is fantastic! Not too difficult, yet challenging. Great way to stay sharp while having fun. My only complaint is that some if the "Twaddles" are actual words and when you're trying to beat a high score... that's a bummer!

Would have given 5 stars, but i am Very Very upset right now. I cant believe my mind draws a Total Blank, with this game. I cant seem to get anywhere near the scores of others !!. Maybe after i get the hang of it., i will give it 5 stars. I hate losing !!! (Lol).

Not to mention that it's AMAZINGLY ADDICTING!! A new, unique game, that takes less than a minute to learn -but it's the strategy you're going to be trying to master forever! Good going to whomever came up with the game. -A superfan

Conditions are too difficult to allow winning. The game is too frustrating. I suggest the Moxie words apply across the board. Player would still choose a category but would get extra points if he used another. For instance, player focused on mineral but makes a three letter word from the animal list. For that he get an extra 50 points instead of 100 points.

I'm wondering if there's a limit on the moxie words, since 'leek' is missing from vegetables. Also I worked pretty hard to get the word 'otter' during the animal level only to find it wasn't on the list.

Everyone needs some "Moxie" ~3 months later~ I'm still enjoying the game....its a refreshing change of pace...it isn't a game that takes forever to finish... I have to say though....I QUICKLY learned to despise the term....''twaddle'' lol

A game of continously changing words, letter by letter. Moxie keeps you on your toes wondering if you already played that word. You need to think fast and creatively.

Really enjoyed it, at first. Quickly became increasingly frustrated with it. Many times commonly used words did not register. The thrill is gone... uninstall.

Doesn't recognize words, and requires you to keep chains going. If you put in an unrecognized word then it breaks your chain. It swings from one extreme to another. Kind of lopsided and unpredictable.

I love it after one game, but we will see if it keeps my attention. Beating a high score alone gets boring for me. I wish the developer would create some kind of Moxie spin off with levels and goals other than a score. I'd pay for that!

I'm a big word game geek, mainly scrabble, 5-10 games at a time... This app is a great, super simple and basic....but the time limit and only one round is tough....and it only gives you 6 tiles, not 7....buuuuuuut....EVERY hand is like having a crappy hand in scrabble, on a time limit.... It's been very good practice for grabbing the most words possible...even in a junk hand....and there are lots....1 vowel, like a U and three R's and one A.... But I've gotten much quicker and crafty

Like Seven Little Words and Red Herring, Moxie Classic is a clever, challenging, and rewarding word game. Blue Ox is fast becoming a developer whose apps I'll download on sight.

I like the added dimension of Moxie words and when the voice says 'twaddle' it cracks me up!

No issues with function though I wish it woild leave my name in the score bar so I don't have to type it each time i stop then start again

Unlike a lot of word games which rely on anagramming and can quickly become repetitive and boring, Moxie challenges your imagination and vocabulary in a different way every game. Insanely addictive.

Few games have the substance required to earn a 5 star rating from me . MOXIE IS WELL WORTH YOUR TIME.
