Fantastic. Similar to "The Room" series but has it's own flavor and enticements. The graphics are excellent and enhance game play immensely. The background music and theme are not at all intrusive but help build suspense. Other sound effects are quite realistic. The controls are generally excellent but I found them to be a bit clumsy in places. The puzzles were first rate with several being real mind benders. I look forward to a sequel and other future titles from these artists.

It's fantastic, As a major fan of The Room games, I give this my full seal of approval. An original story, excellent puzzles, great music, beautifully and lovingly detailed reconstructions of daVinci's home and inventions. And don't give me any nonsense that it's a "ripoff" of The Room. Please. How many first person shooter games are there out there? Aren't they all basically the same idea? Might as well call The Room a ripoff of Myst, the 90's PC game that pioneered the concept of spooky, atmospheric puzzle adventure games with gorgeously rendered graphics. This game is a labor of love and it shows. Buy it! PLAY IT!

Awesome game! Love the vibe that was similar to 'The Room' series of games, but still distinctive enough to be it's own game. Hoping for sequels, as I hate cliffhangers. Could use some fine tuning on controls and puzzles, but not much. Highly recommend for puzzle game lovers who don't mind the occasional headache.

Such wonderfully thought out and beautiful puzzles. It's almost a shame to rush through the solutions :-) That is, until you inevitably get stuck once in a while, ofcourse.... Theme, art & gameplay all work together and the whole package sings to me. I found my name (Vadjong) as a kickstarter! Look me up in the library. There will be a pressing achievement really close by, wink, wink!

Not quite perfect but very close! I'm currently on chapter 4 and am really enjoying the game. I've taken 1 star off just because the controls are a bit iffy at times making it more difficult than it needs to be to complete some of the puzzles (I've known what to do but making the system do it can be a challenge!). However, the story and the rendering of Da Vinci's inventions make it well worth persevering. Excellent game overall and definitely worth the price.

Great game. Puzzles not too easy, not too hard. Graphics great. Boiler puzzle an astrolab got a bit difficult toward the end.(Mostly minor gameplay issues with small screen on phone) Finished 10 hours. Probably fell asleep a couple times. Looking forward to future games from this developer. Cheers.

Loved it!! Would love to be able to buy more games like this... Excellent integration and examples of Da Vincis' inventions brings the game to life. It's not The Room and its not trying to be. The fact that the gameplay is intricate and exciting in its design is where the comparison can be made but it has its own story. It would be an interesting way to bring other historic characters to life. While teaching history in this form I doubt anyone could criticise or dislike the subject. It would be an excellent idea to transition into teaching aspects as long as the information stats are correct. Did i say i loved it?!!

I'm so happy this game finally made it to Android. I've seen it on the Apple app store for a while and wanted to try it because it looked like The Room. Fans of The Room series will love this game. Yes, it's incredibly similar to The Room series, but I personally think that's a good thing. Games like these are far and few in between. Some puzzles can be pretty difficult, even with hints, forcing you to really think about it, but then again, I'm not paying $5 to breeze through this thing. It was a pleasant game to play and hope there will be sequals. I'd love to have this game and The Room as my go to puzzle games!

So worth the money! I rarely pay for games, and hardly ever review. I really am enjoying the game! I just completed the intro., so I will post more later if it gets disappointing. So far, I highly recommend, especially if you enjoyed The Room as much as I did.

T70%
by T####:

My only complaint is some rooms have really long object animations. Neat the first round, but quickly gets annoying. Other than that it's a beautiful puzzle game. Oh and don't count on relying on the hints, they rarely help.

While I am enjoying the game, there is nothing "unique" about this game. You should have just called it "The Room 4", because that's what this is. The game dynamics are pretty much identical. The puzzles, while different, are executed in exactly the same way. Even down to the eye piece, which does exactly the same things as the eye piece featured in The Room, albiet one small difference, the time shift feature.

by D####:

To say that it's inspired by The Room would be an understatement.. Gameplay is virtually identical (not that that's a bad thing at all), and while it just falls short of matching the quality as well this is a great game to play and well thought out. I love some of the detail here - e.g. Any panel that opens includes the latches that were previously keeping it closed. This may be a minor thing, but it's a great attention to detail. Very much hoping that there will be a sequel.

BEST puzzle game I've played. The story was cogent, and, for me, that makes all the difference. There is a glitch in the game: final chapter, if you do any of the steps before you tackle the first pipe, the game stops functioning. I had to restart the chapter after an hour of frustration trying to figure out why nothing was working.

This is an excellent game in a similar vein to The Room series but set in a fantasy-medieval world. One nice touch is that as you work your way around you can collect designs for some of Leonardo's real inventions and as you do each of these becomes available as a playable working model in the 'Achievements' room (see video). I think my favourite puzzle was near the end where you have to find the right settings on a complex machine, and it seems as though you don't have enough information but then suddenly it all drops into place. There's a good hint system, which is often useful if you simply don't know which object you should have examined more on a large level, but sometimes it's a bit to keen to pop up and I think a longer timeout before it offered a hint would have been good. I did try turning it off but found that more frustrating. (However I still think Lumino City has the best hint system). A sequel is already promised, so let's hope it doesn't take them too many years.

I've never bothered with leaving a review before but something about this game made me leave one. 10/10 would get a headache again

Thoroughly impressed! I've been looking for another puzzle game like this ever since "The Room" series, and I've finally found one! I really liked the addition of actual people who are enemies, instead of some ethereal being summoned through doorways into nothingness. Wish you luck! May there be a second game of these or similar! Good job!

Awesome, awesome, awesome. Didn't think that anyone could equal or surpass "The Room" series. Hope you make a lot of $$$ so you can make another one and keep us mechanical puzzle fans happy.

T70%

Lots of fun i could hardly put it down until i was finished. The clues that show up if your stuck really help keep the game moving so it doesnt become frustrating. Great puzzle game.

The controls need work, there are some puzzles I know I tried and they wouldn't work until after I would use the hint button. It got get annoying and frustrating. I wouldn't recommend this to someone else. The room is just on another level of this type of game, much more polished in almost every aspect. Graphics are good tho, but was it worth the money, I wouldn't say so... only reason I finished the game was because I already spent money buying it...

Such an amazing game! Very comparable to the Room series, yet it doesn't at anytime feel like a copy cat game. The gameplay and graphics are superb. Storytelling is quite nice as well.

Well, what can I say, I bought this game on android after finishing it on my iPad just to give it another 5 stars review. This game is amazing. I hope more developers create these kinds of masterpieces. This is a huge step up from their first game that was already pretty good. Thuud one is juyst in a completely different league. Bravo!

This game may seem expensive but is well worth it! I love strategy puzzle games. Having it based in DiVincis world is just a bonus. The puzzles really make you think. The graphics are phenomenal. Absolutely addictive!

T70%
by T####:

A great and fun experience, though sometimes the controls are a bit iffy, moving the camera when you instead want to interact with an item. Also towards the end the puzzles become more about pure logic and less about exploration.

T70%
by T####:

Clearly inspired by The Room series- even giving you a lens device to read secret messages- House of Da Vinci is the rare imitator that manages to equal, even surpass it's inspiration. The plot is nothing to speak of, serving mainly as an excuse for a bunch of renaissance-steampunk mechanical puzzles, but those puzzles are creative and interesting, and just clever enough to be challenging instead of frustrating. Graphics are low poly, but compensate with skillful use of color and light, the end result being a beautiful game world that also runs much smoother than The Room 3. Derivative, maybe, but still a cracking good puzzle collection.

Great game RUINED by frustrating controls. It takes several tries to get the game to figure out what I'm trying to do when manipulating an object.

T70%
by T####:

Controls sometimes off (have to click above an object instead of on it). Not sure if that is my device (pixel c) or something else. otherwise great puzzle game.

T70%
by T####:

Controls were a bit fiddly with me but it migbt be due to large hands or screen calibration all in all very good game. Also helps to fill that void till another The Room comes out xD

This is just terrific. The only disappointment comes with the ending - an abrupt anticlimax. But, up till then, terrific.

Great for fans of The Room I, II, and III, but the controls are much more fiddly than in those games. But this is minor. Otherwise pretty darn good. If you've been hoping for The Room IV, get The House of da Vinci!

Just started to play this game, and I'm well impressed everything about it is superior to some of the games out there, yes they are characteristics similar to The Room, but I wouldn't say it's a copy, it's got its own story line that keeps you intrigued, really looking forward to playing the full game, if it's anything like the first five minutes I won't be dissapointed.

It's basically The Room. Similar visual style, similar style of puzzles, similar ambience. None of these are bad things. In fact, they are very good things. Well worth the cost.

Amazing game overall, real The Room standard, only easier to grasp hints if you should get stuck. Great length, great puzzles.
