Sudoku Expert

So I'm uninstalling. Pros: pretty interface, can highlight current row or "all" impossible. Still seeking that perfect one that will easily allow me to highlight rows/columns manually, the way the one I learned to play on did, years ago on my palm pilot. Also couldn't figure out the why's of hints on harder games. Were they guesses?

Best Sudoku puzzle game. Lots of puzzles to keep you hooked. However, numbers that are already on the board are not highlighted properly. Maybe you can highlight the square/cell of that number. Nonetheless it is great app. ????

Best sudoku apps ever. The 'promp' and number 8&9 are too close. I click the promp accidentally sometimes. I wish you could change it into a harmless button there.

I've used more than 5 sudoku apps and this is the best so far. Lightweight, aesthetically pleasing, customizable. What more do you want?

It dosn,t have full sceen., & no option for keeping device on during the game, also with no pouse mode.

Would be 5 ☆s but there's no option to just highlight the number you're on (ie/ I highlight a 4 all 4s on board highlight) either row highlighting (not useful) or full highlighting (takes the challenge out of the game.. just plug in the numbers) only :(

Needs a few more options like highlighting all selected number, and colour choices, then it's 5 Star brilliance.

I tag all the cells so I can start filling in numbers but am called for breakfast. I turn off my tablet to conserve battery power. Come back later, turn on my tablet and all the tagged cells have mysteriously lost all entries. If that's how it was designed someone has a few screws lose.

This excellent app is ad-free, feature rich, has tags, error check, solve-ur-own-puzzle bd.,5000 puzzles for any skill level, help opts, easy to use & functions well on Samsung S5 Active w 4.4. Designer knows Sudoku like I do! Thanks for getting the basics really right & leaving out stupid themes & weird music that a true puzzle lover doesnt want anyway! Hoping will update to add pause button & save unfinished puzzles for later- then it will be the perfect Sudoku app for serious puzzle-heads! Well done!

This App is suitable for first timers and fanatics. There are so many options from auto fill to no help at all. It's the most comprehensive App I've come across and it's free with no irritating ads. Thanks Aeiou. ps. For those beginners that really need hi lights the facility is there .

Lots of issues. First, fixed numbers of board should be bold. Second, should be a toggle to switch to 'pencil' mode so you can easily enter more than one number in a field. Third, when you enter a number the whole display goes blue so you lose your place. Fourth, box grids should be darker than grids in a box, so when three happens you can still see the box grids. Love the no ads and free, would have given more stars just to encourage this... but developers read 1 star reviews. :-)

Restarts every time I exit and want to resume my game a couple of hours later. Silly to have all progress anulled multiple times on one level. Then you get frustrated, ask for assistance, and get 300 points deducted. Sil-lee. Apart from, that solid game.

EDIT: Puzzles sometimes get restarted when I don't use the app for a while. This is quite annoying. - I was looking for something exactly like this, coming from Windows Phone and being used to the Jappi Sudoku app there. Possible improvements are number highlighting (highlight cells that contain the currently selected number, both as input and as tag) and advanced help to help me solve a complicated puzzle and learn how to do that myself

Does not shut down when turned off. Runs in the background. when you highlight rows and columns, it detracts from your score.

I'm a sudoka beginner, this is perfect for me, having the all important options that allow you to check for errors and when completely flumuxed, get a clue/hint. It's teaching me to solve the problems, and how to do it effectively. I'll never be an expert, but I'm getting hooked to the hole concept.

The way I'm using this game, with all the options (And yes, I lose points) is to visualize the various ways to solve. Swordfish, X, etc..., if anybody wants to learn how the various, advanced ways to solve is done; and you are not afraid to experiment, and make mistakes. This is the Sudoku Game to play with.

Love the scoring method. Reminds me not to cheat. Has everything that I need in a sudoku app. The difficulty level is accurate.

Was nearly done with game when all entered numbers disappeared. Can't skip games. Can't play in landscape orientation.

Play is clear. Everything is fine except it is difficult to control the option as operation of the controls is not intuitive.

This is the simplest sudoku I found. Progress was saved once I finished a game. If left midway, it stored the status

No ads! No permissions! Easy interface. All the necessary options for beginner to expert. Excellent.
