Video Game Music Quiz

If you're on SNES pretty much everything is Mario, and if you're on Gameboy everything is Pokemon. This app is a really great idea, but the lack of variety is just lazy. So many games are mentioned as choices, it's just a shame that the only answers are so predictable. There's no real challenge or effort here. Could have been great.

There are a lot of great songs here, but a very large majority of them are from the same game, played though snes category and out of the first 20 questions 18 of them were all mairo related so needless to say it got old very fast, same with gameboy being nothing but pokemon

I keep getting an error that thr game is having problems connecting to the server. It's happened more than once in less than a minute of actual play time.

Although I find the app itself very addicting, there are two problems that are seriously hampering my enjoyment. First, the biggest complaint is about the ads. These show up after almost every game, this is especially annoying in the winning streak mode. Also I despise video ads vehemently and they were very nearly an immediate deal breaker. The second issue is that occasionally the app becomes extremely unstable, repeating a "character death" noise while locking you in one screen.

What happens is the it plays the music and shows the timer but the options are not there and I can't click any thing so when it stops the wrong noise keeps playing and I can't click out of the game it seems like you worked really hard on this and it's pretty fun I've seen another comment like this so hopefully your in the process of fixing it

Random glitch: Sometimes after you guess a song the blue loading wheel freaks out starts over and over rapidly w/o completeing a circle and sounds like a button is jammed on a turbo controller and you can't stop shooting. The game freezes and I have to restart. Request: More Megaman bgm. :) ♧Galaxy Note 3. Rooted Android 4.4.2.

It keeps saying error in the game server and I can't even play the game anymore

It uses Zelda and Mario FAR too much though..

If the ads weren't so intrusive I would have given 5 stars. The game is amazing though, highly recommended!

The game is overall great, and I got addicted to old games and I can use this to determine my knowledge! And with the new update, I'm sure the game should be great!! I would recommend this to any pro gamer. I love the nostalgia, too.

But;there is a bug for androids for the sega mode where it will repeatedly count your answer as wrong! It can drag your sega score down from 95% to 47%! Another problem is the acheivements have to be unlocked linearly but no one will ever get past the 100 in the row achievement! Finally, if you are planning to expand this game and dont think it will make the game too hard for others, do please add more songs from different games. The genesis section is too easy for me at the moment!

Think hard

Ive never seen an app that crashes this constantly. Every 3 or 5 times i answer a question, it crashes. It looks like a good app, but I can't use it because it's driving me CRAZY!

Works flawlessly, as long as you don't mind a little ads. Just be careful you don't get caught up listening to some tunes and forget about the timer!

Really clean and responsive interface, the music sounds crisp and I appreciate you give the option to pay for removing ads. Very fun app.

AWESOME GAME!!!! My cousin has an SNES, and I like to play Super Mario All Stars on it, and that's how I know, (sometimes), what game it is. Process of elimination. Even if I've never played the game before, I can kinda tell which one it is. Would be better if there was an Atari option, but, then again, not many Atari games, (that I know of), have music. Examples are: Adventure, Outlaw, Asteroids, (unless you count the sound it makes in the background), Adventure II, and the list goes on. So, I understand.

Took back my 1 star since the problem with the constant asking for a rating was fixed. Really awesome app with a lot of great game music!!

Every time I try to play it crashes after 10-15 songs are played. I like the game would love it if I could play it better without it crashing.

A well crafted app, good sound quality and a fair bit of interesting information. However, it features four systems, three of which are Nintendo and one Sega. There is a huge wealth of older systems out there. I'd rate it higher if it covered a greater range of videogame musical history. Thankyou for your response. How about the PC Engine/Turbo Grafx or one of the Atari systems? You are obviously very passionate about your brilliant creation so have another star
