Regular drones can be destroyed with a single shot. Every 10 levels, a Boss shows up, which requires 20 or more hits to destroy. You can upgrade lasers to deal more damage to Boss drones. Starting with wave 50, some bosses after have special behavior when you hit them. Shoot carefully to see it.
On your journey through space, a Moon or another celestial body might show up, and drones will use it to hide. Those obstacles cannot be destroyed. As your shots fly over it, you can still shoot the enemies above it.

I really dislike games who have in game purchases because usually the prices are totally unreasonable, but this developer did it right. You don't need to purchase anything, but you can spend a dollar or two and you get a TON of coins for it. It also helps that the game is really fun to play!

This is exactly what a mobile game should be like, imo; quick fun for when you have a few minutes to kill. My biggest complaint is the reload feature. After a little bit of playing I have gotten somewhat used to it... but to be honest, it is incredibly annoying. I think it's a good idea, but even just an unlockable autoload that takes a few seconds would be perfection. Besides that, I really enjoy playing this game! I especially like the short pause before resuming a game.

This game is overall pretty fun for free. When I tried an in-app purchase it couldn't process my request but took the money anyway, the devolper responded quickly to my email and refunded my money. Seemed genuinely interested in fixing the issue but I haven't tried it again.

I read the author's entire blog which resulted in me immediately downloading the game. Now I can't put it down. I don't usually enjoy action-based games, bu the simple game play coupled with daily challenges and missions keep me coming back. Simply remarkable that this is the result of one developer's efforts in only 23 days.
