Shiver: The Lily's Requiem Collector's Edition

The design in wording is terrible. Very broken English with lots of spaces, making it difficult to read the dialog, instructions on games, or find things in HOGs without the overuse of hint button. Sad, since this is the complaints of most, and yet the positive of most is that the story is great. Yes, it seems the game IS designed to be a large series of anagrams and fill-in-the-blanks-with-the-missing-letters for nearly all HOGs and instructions. Very frustrating and poor design! I'm doing a lot of skipping of games because of this, and hitting the hint button way too often!

It keeps me coming back for more. However, I feel it's too expensive too continue. I can't afford to get the benefit of finishing. That brings me to the question which is, are you guys in it for the enjoyment of playing your games or is it about the money. I've played and bought other games with the same or better guilty as yours. Please help us afford your games.

I purchased this game and am disappointed in the control . I have a tablet and I had to tap really hard on the objects at times to get control of them. The games were especially hard to control. Love the graphics! There is a glitch with the pipe to fix the water. Even after you use it , it remains in your inventory. It lies on top of other items and makes it extremely hard to use them. I messaged Big Fish and all I got was a "standard" reply. Will have to see what they do.

This is the type of game I love to play! The graphics weren't the best I've seen, but this was more than made up for by the creative narrative and well developed clues and mini games. The ending was actually fully formed and made sense. The bonus chapter was also just so well done in adding to the narrative and tying up loose ends, while leaving the game open to continuations. There was not so much of the back and forth that tends to occur, and what little there was felt natural and not just filling a need to keep the game going. Other game developers need to take a clue from Shiver and implement some simple yet effective measures to ensure a worthwhile gaming experience.

Game after downloading became distorted. Was unable to read the words. When playing any mystery game l feel it should allow one to be able to play with ease. This game does not allow that . With that being said this mystery game is a huge challenge !!!!!

It won't start so I can't give a higher rating. It dowoaded fine with plenty of memory available. I click to open, screen turns black & then error message appears saying it has stopped working. I've sent feedbacks but I dont expect any response or resolution.

Good game up to chapter 2. I can't see the words instructions, can't get the manual. Keeps having me talk to the mechanic but can't see the words. HELP! I finally got the manual. Thanks

Tried installing 3 times and each time it has downloaded glitch in game, letters out of words would be missing, meaning unable to play the game. Shame as it looks like it would be good.

Good game overall but the response on some items was really bad. Had to click them several times before anything happened. The hidden object scenes were very hard on a small phone because many items were too dark.

It was a great game, but nothing but problems. Got so stuck, tried to use hint... Wouldn't work. Very frustrating. Major glitches. Too bad.

Loved the collectibles! Enjoyed being able to fix the house up. And, the fish too! Great hos and puzzles! Liked that they were different than all the other Big Fish games. Always wish they were all longer though!

Words don't show up which made the HOGs difficult unless they used the picture instead of the words. It also made it difficult to complete a couple of mini

Requiem would appreciate a refund. This game is horrible. I have painted the lobster correctly but it didnt do anything. Also crab on beach??!! Hint button keeps pointing me to a pile of rocks that I can do nothing at the spot.

Utter waste of money and I could not continue playing as nothing moved when I was doing anything. I would never recommend Big Fish games as you have to give them up so lose your money. For goodness sake sort this out..........

I had issues with moving items in each puzzle. It didn't happen in the main game, only in the puzzles. Nothing wanted to move properly. Decorating the house was a nice touch.

Finally got to finish it. Great game. Great story. Full of the usual "Big Fish Game" glitches. Lost count how many times l re-booted phone?? Persivere... worth it

Was loving this game so much, i purchased it, it keeps saying my purchase didnt go through even tho i have receipt, wont let me play. So sad i wanna play. Fix this and ill change rating

Loved it. Great story, really dragged you in. Beautiful graphics and cut scenes. Great map so no back and forth. Puzzles were enough to make you think but not have you reaching for the skip button.

Just paid $4.99 for this game. Don't normally buy games that cost more than $1.99 but really love these type of games. Great story line. Love the mini puzzles. Good graphics.

I would like to play this game but it keeps force close a minute after load. Tried several things to correct it on my cell but nothing helps, I hope to try later if u can fix this

Had no problems until cracking the code in hospital room,Punched in code and wouldn't allow me to open cabinet.

I can't imagine paying for this game, even if it is on sale right now. That's unfortunate since this is the exact same prob as the 3rd game! There's only an occasional vowel or consonant here & there & until this is fixed, it cannot be played. Are we going to see a fix anytime soon???

You won't look at mermaids the same after this story. I played it over two days and enjoyed it. There is even an actual plot!The "decorate your house" angle was a nice change from the usual find the extra object in each scene. In fact, I would have enjoyed more options there.

Fantastic Game , love the graphics and story line, but the mini puzzles are great , but the hidden objects games are much different from any game that I played. Hopefully there will be more like these soon!!!!!! Keep me posted !!!!!

Good game, some puzzles were too long to solve or confusing. I liked this game

A lot of these games are really lazily done and feel like adventures-by-the-numbers, but this is one of the few that actually feels like someone had a think about what makes a good game. More of this, please.

Always quality games. The shiver series is one of my top ten favorites and this game gives great play....enjoy!

I liked this game and it's graphics. I wish I could zoom in on some of the pages in the journal because the font was a bit small to read for us older players. I still rate a 5 star anyway because I enjoyed playing.

Can't understand this game very confusing you tap on a item and its just not working properly, sorry but just not enjoying it any more thanks

There are only letters here and there need to fix that I would not but this game if u can't read anything

Fun and colorful and has great mini puzzles and map is good, but I keep getting knocked out of game and have to get back in. Please fix!
