Phantasmat: Town of Lost Hope

Very good and very creepy, and I'm usually not a big fan of 'murder' plots. Puzzles were challenging and HOGs interesting. Lots of spooky location. Satisfying length with interesting plot. I liked that you had to help multiple characters instead of just one. Option to go back and find missed collectibles is always a nice surprise. I didn't care for the first couple Phantsmat games, but this one completely changed my opinion. Looking forward to the next one.

Takes a lot to creep me out so the guy with the axe doesn't bother me so much. I appreciate that Epix has worked to use tap and drop rather than tap and drag. It's a lot more accurate. Graphics are a bit dreary but consider the theme. I'm not that far into it yet but so far the map has worked well, the puzzle instructions are mostly helpful and the collectable "signs" are findable. It was a really quick download and so far no glitches.

Love the twist! Great story. Graphics good. Would give overall about 4.5 since map occasionally glitched and sometimes had to multiple click to get something to work. Decent length, not great but ok since on sale with bonus. Not usually a fan of the creepy games but this one wasn't as gory as some.

I love the scarier games! You can really get lost playing this game. Graphics are great, lapse in between scenes is swift. I am throughly enjoying it, so far no glitches. Not sure if there's a map or morphing objects/other objects in scenes.. since I always opt out of tutorials. Makes it more challenging.

I'm not sure on this game it's pretty good but quite scary but I really do think that this game would be better suited for Halloween really not spring summer time what on earth are you thinking about, come on BF really omg one minute you produce a really good game and then start to notice your not producing what us players are asking for! Have you ever tried to even listen to what where actually saying to you or are you not bothered about it and just massively produce games every wk regardless to our views!

Very cool and creepy, music was just right for game. My only complaint is I wish it was longer. I couldn't stop playing and it was over. You make the best games . Please keep up the great work and keep them comming.

Not worth the money. The game is very short. The main story line has so much potential but quickly turns out boring and annoying. Are you really going to save all these people so they can hang out at a gas station and wait for you? I'm all for being a heroin but that's ridiculous. Also way to much back & forth. I will say the hops & puzzles were slightly different and fun. As always great graphics.

The game manages to capture a sense of creepy terror that few games succeed in. Well done. A bit of an abrupt end and the bonus game a little rushed feeling. Still a good game.

"WELCOME TO YOUR WORST NIGHTMARE". ... I have a tendency to worry when I read things like that. I admit, I'm not fond of terrifing games. I play to relax, not raise my heart rate. And actually, it is our worst nightmare to know you and your family are being hunted by a homicidal maniac with an ax. This is not just dark and creepy, it's positively gruesome and certainly horrifying. Ack. In my opinion, this is a low budget game with generic problems to solve and unimaginative solutions. It has a custom difficulty setting. Hidden"signs"(?) and endgame souvenirs. No morphs though, and HO's occasionally swap for match-3. Very dark genera and mediocre graphics. This is the standard Eipex precept, your only decision is subject matter, but know that this is really Bates Motel material.. ... I'm not sure if I ought to, but I'm giving this game 3 skulls -

Looks like a good game but it takes longer to download the game then play it. I know its a demo but that's ridiculous.

Fun game with map and hints. Story was OK. Bonus level short but appreciated. Double tap occasionally required but no problems. Like the match 3 option.

The map will suddenly disappear and certain puzzles, even after solving it correctly, appear as unsolved, so you have to skip it. With these 2 exceptions, the game is all right.

I really wish that EIPIX would fix the screen automatically snapping back in hops. Not my favorite game. Graphics are superior as usual.

A dark and spooky game, but a decent time killer. Nice graphics, good plot. Controls could be more accurate on HOG scenes, also the game hanged when unlocking. Everything else is just fine.

This is one creepy game. I'm nearly at the end, but it made me sad to see the videos about the little boy, and how it shows you how kids can be shaped by bad people and circumstances, to grow up to be warped adults.

Can't really say anything about this game because it stuck at 95%downloading and won't go any further.will try again then if not going to uninstall.

Great game. Not too easy. Lovely graphics, games and well up to standard.

Oh, I'm so disappointed after reading the story I just knew I'd love it but. ..... It starts out a thrilling plot of being on a trip then you awaken, after being knocked out at a gas station, in a room with an old woman. You're locked in a room with the Psycho motel feel and then that's the beginning of the end of the thrill for me. It just drags..........on and on. .....and on. ...... just bouncing back and forth and back and forth through dark, poorly lit, poor graphics.... Just because you make it blue and hard to make out objects doesn't make it scary and interesting. I am still in the 2nd chapter of the game and I've been playing for over 6 hours. Not because it's hard BUT because it doesn't keep my attention. You've got to go 3-4 places to complete one task. I'm having to use the teleporting map AND hint button constantly because there's no flow and not sensible. There are hidden collectibles that I don't really know what they are except they look like fluorescent green cans hidden throughout. And yes, I purchased the game @$2.99 for 2 reasons...1.) Because the unlock screen popped up really early in the 1st chapter and. ....2.) I tried to give the game benefit of the doubt that it would pick up. I'm always optimistic that a game, especially of a reputable developer/creater and a familiar type (Phantasmat....) would be as good if not better. It has a strategy guide, bonus chapter and a custom difficulty setting which I love especially since I'm having to wear out the hint button it'd be really stressful if I had to wait too. I will finish the game and if for some reason it improves I'll be back to change my rating but as of now this H.O.A.P. Guild Co-
