The game completely shut off 5 times while playing the main game! Then every time you change areas this sign comes up with a working cursor says please wait! It last 3 to 4 seconds. This is enough to drive you mad! But it has great graphics and story line.

Game is ok - very much a "tap everywhere and hope for the best" though, but the load time between areas is huge to the point that you don't want to click somewhere just I case it loads a new area unnecessarily.

I downloaded this game 3 times, I purchased the full game. It will not let me create my profile so therefore I can not play. I want a refund!!!! Google play will not refund, because it doesn't fit there policy. I can't get a refund from Big Fish either. What a way to treat a paying customer!!!

The people that did the graphics on this game are just so amazingly talented it's untrue.. The puzzles are challenging and the story's great.. The voice overs weren't always in sinc and there was a black screen for a split second in between scenes but it didn't matter cause the rest was just brilliant.. It's the first game that I know I will at some point play again and I have played loads.. Let's hope they're working on the glitches cause apart from that It's a game everyone should own!!

I paid for the full version but the 4th bell disappeared after crash and now i cannot progress... read a few others had the same issue. Please update.

I absolutely loved playing this game, it's a really good length, as is the bonus chapter and the scenery is just beautiful, especially on the main menu page when you watch it. There were 3 things tho, the inbetween scenes square really needs work and the talking and the writing that comes up are not in sync at all in some places, also the map could do with some work and be more specific. If it weren't for those it would have got 5 stars, but in comparison to the whole game, a solid 4. Very good.

Wait time between scenes is ridiculous. Dialog and voices are very off. Game crashed already once And now I'm at the end of the second "chapter" and now it says there is nothing to do. I can't get any further.

It won't let me play. It asks for name but freezes up my keyboard and there's no way to play without that option. Shame, because it looked like a gg to play. This is even after I've uninstalled and reinstalled. Big fish, get your sh*t together.

This game is very confusing and the story line goes way too fast. It doesn't give you what you are supposed to find. Then it takes you to a whole different scene that you can't complete because you don't have enough items to complete. I an uninstalling this game. Way too confusing

I really enjoyed this game so much so that I want to play it again but after numerous install and uninstalls I cannot get past the home screen. It does not respond to my keyboard. Very sad. If bug please fix.

Fun little adventure, nice game, excellent artwork. Good amount of game for the paid full game, too. Not gloomy either. Colorful & well-done of its type. Minigames/puzzles. Includes a walkthru guide, option to skip puzzles, skip travel map, wallpaper, concept art, soundtrack and an extra chapter. Full walkthru with large pictures posted at bigfish games website. Ran without a hitch & saved at any interruption or game exit. New location screen loads maybe 2 seconds at most. Am on android 4.4.2 nvidia shield tablet.

Unbelievable, the game loads so slow. Saying please wait before entering a room. Plz, fix this. I wanted to purchase, not until this error is fixed.

Loved the game up to the point where I gave the gnome the fertility potion and nothing happened. Paid for the game at the sfart and now I can do nothing. I don't want to start all over again. Close to done

I loved every detail in every room in Nearwood. These are the type of games I love. Unfortunately not many of them out there. Alot of horrors but no modern fantasy sci Fi. Nearwood covers all modern fantasies thus being the best app I've played so far. 5 stars :)

I am so excited to play a new Big Fish game... But I cannot move past the main menu! It tells me to enter my name but won't take any letters or numbers so I cannot play!! Please help Big Fish.

A very cute game with everything you need to be a good game! Teleporting map, strategy guide, cute animated characters and dif types of HOS games making it an interesting game. A little hesitation in clicking but overall a great game!

Dear " Bigfish Games. .. I Love the App! And the Game. Especially ...The Story...And the Graphics... But this game needs a Update. It wastes to much time going to other places because it tell you. To " Please Wait!" When " Retrieving pieces to restore. Or to play the Puzzles. It is internet speed swallowing. Also, the dialog is not in " "Sink" with the characters telling the story....Question. Is there a " Update version? " Thank you. ...

This is by far the best hidden objects game I have played in ages. The puzzles are taxing and quite different from all the others. Good storyline without being overly dramatic.

I've changed my rating. Have bought and payed for this game but now when beginning a new game on it it won't even let me type in my player name! I don't get it. Please fix this problem. Quickly!

Would love to play the game. Purchased. Have installed and uninstalled multiple times. Cannot get past the sign in page. So as far as I'm concerned the game sucks!

Paid for this and now get half way through the game and it crashes. This seems to be happening alot. Please sort this out big fish. Love your games but when this happens it is so frustrating. Have also taken a star away because of this.

I love games like these but when it gets to the point where I use the hint button it tells me there's nothing left to do here so why do I have an extra turtle left when I use them for the gate..I don't know where it goes and where else I'm suppose to go..its annoying to keep pressing stuff that's not gonna work..I'm uninstalling..also I'm on a sprint tablet and this game takes a minute or so to play..smh.

I collected a bell from the forest creature and the game frozen as i put the last one on. I restarted the game to find i didnt have the bell in place anymore, the fog was back and the creature is in its home, i cant collect the bell by clicking the creature, so now i cant move forward in the game, its absolutely ridiculous and the only way round it would be to wipe my game and start again. I dont think i will bother i'll just uninstall

I have played a lot of big fish games and this is one of my favorites. All the scenes were beautiful story line was great. The mini games were a bit challenging. There were no glitches, no forced shut downs. The only thing was it took a little time loading one scene to the next. But it's definitely worth the money. I completely recommend this game!

Enjoyed the puzzles and aren't too many HOGs. A little simple but not TOO bad. A little bit short but not a rip off, really. Cute story and characters. Not great, but not bad.

Good game, great graphics. My only comment is that the delay going to each area is to long which is very frustrating. Also the map to telaport to another location is energized, so if you choose the wrong area and you go back to the map you have to wait until it re energizes, didn't like that.

The game is gorgeous and the story and characters are well written and designed. I also found the voices to be out of sync with the written dialogue. The most frustating thing was the constant stop-starting of the music and background noise which forced me to turn off the music and almost made me delete the entire game. Otherwise worth the money :)

Amazing story, beautiful game. Only complaint is the written dialog is a bit off from the voice sometimes and there is delay of loading between scenes that can be annoying. Then I got to the final chapter and it crashed again and I "lost" an inventory item so I couldnt continue. I hate paying for games I cant complete.

Lovely graphics, fun story, and great gameplay. I would have rated 5 stars but for the completely ugly transition between rooms/scenes and the voices/text not being in sync in the main game. They were synced in the bonus chapter. The sync thing I don't mind so much, but the transition thing is a real downer in an otherwise gorgeous game.

Bought the game and can't even play long enough to enjoy it. How do you expect to get decent ratings when you charge $3.81 for a game that is far from being ready to play? Freezes, drops out, out of sync, and a lot of lag between scenes. At the very least the full game should be free until it works properly. Not acceptable.

DO NOT and I repeat, DO NOT play the puzzle near the end of the game where you need to untangle the branches to move forward. It will kick you off almost immediately after starting it, and then if you try and play it again, it will tell you that 'your file has been corrupted' and you have to COMPLETELY START OVER! Aaarrrgggggg! So I am trying to save you from that frustration! Just SKIP that puzzle. Other than that hugely ridiculous glitch, the game was a lot of fun! I really did love it until that point. Diverse puzzles, extra things to find and wasn't innundated with HO's. UPDATE!! UPDATE!! UPDATE!! After finishing the main game, I tried to start the bonus chapter. Every single time it kicks me out with the "unfortunately, big fish game has stopped" I cannot believe how bad the quality control has become at Big Fish!

I really liked this game. It's a good lengthy game, nice eye-candy graphics cute critters, and decent music. And a pleasing storyline! Well worth the $2.99! Thanks! Oh.. you can make more like this. :o)

The black box and circling wheel in between scenes kinda ruin the fluidity for me. Plus, the OCD person in me is irked by the fact that it says"Please, wait" and not "Please wait." Also, the subtitles were a bit off. It's a stupid reason to not want to unlock a game but there you have it. But if these things won't bother you, the graphics are absolutely gorgeous, storyline is very good, the voice-over work is well-done and the soundtrack is fantastic. I wish I wasn't such a stickler!

The game is perhaps the most beautiful fantasy in gaming to date. If you love good artwork, play for that alone. If your the impatient type, this will frustrate you no end. The map transports but then has to recharge (are you kidding, BF?) and is basically useless as "points of interest" are often misleading. Between screens is a roughly 7 second wait while you are asked to "please wait" making the game seem incredibly slow. (Show us something entertaining, BF, so the wait doesn't seem so long.) No morphing objects, but collectable creatures (snoop-sees). The puzzles are not easy and often do not respond even when completed properly - so you have to hit "skip" anyway. I believe Big Fish is trying hard to satisfy their customers who ask for more games (I'm one). And thanks for that, BF. But somehow, MagicIndie didn't smooth out the rough edges on this one. If you decide to play, get ready to keep your finger on the "hint" button.

This game was amazing! Everything was top notch. The Snoop-sees are adorable and fun to find, (there are 111 total- I found 66, I think), along with all the new and unusual creatures throughout the game. Awesome graphics, story & gameplay. I am sad it is over. I played twice. The first time there was a glitch and I couldn't get the chess game to work, even with all the floating stones, so that bummed me out, but was still fun to play again and am glad I did, cuz...wow! Get this game, you will not be sorry!

I think I will unlock. Different and thoroughly enjoying. Final conclusion on completion. Do you ever make any bad games BF? This game gets better and better. The attention to detail, second to none. Colour, sound track all add to this riviting game. Congratulations to all who have such imaginative minds to make this game so worthwhile.

I am having the same problem as at least 2 others who have reviewed the game. After rescuing the ferret and getting the last bell from its nest, I proceeded to put the bell in its stand. During the fog clearing mini cut scene it froze and shut down saying 'Nearwood has stopped running' and when I opened the game back up the fog was still there, the ferret is in its nest but I don't have the last bell! I will try restarting the game but hopefully big fish is attempting to fix this problem! (I will change my rating if I manage to get past this part and play the game! Or if I at least get a refund.) EDIT: Restarted the game after I cleaned up my RAM and it ran fine. Beautiful game with great puzzles!

I can't get past creating a profile name because it wont allow me to. Uninstalled and reinstalled, nothing changes. Looks like others have had the same issue.

Love the game but have never finished it because it takes so long between scenes. After a while I get tired of it and quit! Oh I'll keep plugging along but I do wish you would fix this problem. I would enjoy it more. And would buy more from your company.

I like the game, but the fact that it switches from scene to scene so slowly plus sometimes stops working and shuts down makes me hesitant to unlock the full version. If the trial version is this slow and unpredictable, why waste money on the full version?
