Haunted Hotel: Death Sentence

Captivating storyline, nice twist on mini puzzles although they aren't that hard but I don't like to be stumped for too long. Nice length. No glitches. So far worth it.

The game was pretty good, but I was surprised that it was a bit short. Normally I take twice as long to complete a game. Story was good. Creepy music, which adds to the ambience of game play. For those who complained about price, read the "Read more" section and you'll find the price. Really good games WILL cost up to $4.99. Though after playing the whole game, I do agree that (because of the shortness and other factors mentioned after this comment) it probably should not have been priced over $3.99. Really good collectables. I do wish there were morphing items, but that's no biggie. I love the "Hush-a-bye baby" song version. Now the bad points: I found the very last minigame and the one on moving the Justice scales across the board were extremely difficult. I hate skipping games, but I got to this point on these two.The ending felt rushed and a bit of a letdown. On one of the games the reset button is too close to the cords that have to be shaped like the appropriate colored lit box. Good voice acting. Please make additional games or sequels​ to this, but please have novices try them out before selling. And please make them a bit longer... I'm okay with repeating similar types of minigames, if that's what it takes, if they're not so complex as the last two in this game.

I don't mind paying a reasonable fee. But this oe is way too much.

Spoiler alert. Dragging around a vacum cleaner to end up hoovering a pile of leaves?? A certain amount of disbelief is expected but this went past my limit. Sticky controls to make an easy puzzle harder is as much fun as having a tooth extracted. Started promising, great ambient sounds, music and the voice overs were better than a lot of other games. Way, way, way too expensive.

Pretty good game. Just okay value on sale. Mid length game with short bonus. About three hours for all. Collectibles fairly easy. Minis vary. Video as needed and not overly long. Acting decent although elderly voice is not. Stuff to find made sense. Note to developers, not just this one but most. If you interrupted less during the game asking for reviews and provide a review link at the end, you would probably get more accurate reviews, more positive reviews, and more reviews overall. I don't like to do them until the end. If I get a prompt mid game and just had something frustrating, I'm more likely to focus on that. And if I have to close the game and pull up Google Play to review because there's no link at the actual end of the game, I'm more likely to just skip it even if I loved the game.

I enjoyed all of the puzzles & the story. Sometimes some of the clues were very obscure but fortunately this didn't happen often. Definitely worth the money.

Couldn't put it down, addictive; recommend it highly. The hints aren't too easy, but help in long run. Has a story line that unfolds nicely.

Storyline is cool, graphics are nice, map is efficient. Game play is smooth. I recommend it. Also what they did with the collectibles was really detailed and original. Beautifully designed.

Alright so you have to pay to read the whole story, (which was way to short by the way) but to have to pay for the alternate ending as well that's just to expensive!!!

Shocking. There is never a part in this game where you can enjoy your progress. It is literally a "one step forward and two steps back" game.

Above average, but I found it quite short for the price tag. I think the pin on the map speeds the game up but because it tells you which room to go to next. I think you should use a hint for it tell you where to go. Also, I found the game too linear.

The problem is that you are WAY too greedy and too expensive. Some adds placed at the right moment would have been preferable to this too short try period. If you change your approach, I will give 5☆ and more.

Very nice blend of hIdden picture and puzzle solving. Hints and skips available if needed but while puzzles were challenging they weren't too hard so game play stayed fun and interesting.

There seems to be too many long cut scenes and yu have to tap on things a few times just to get it. Good graphics though. Won't be buying full version as its too expensive

It was hecka short. Mini games were either very easy or very confusing. Wont play it again.. Sad waist. But what do big business care..

Very well done. Logical puzzles you can figure out with a little bit of thought. Hard enough to be challenging but not so hard you get frustrated and give up

For being a free intro, the game was the perfect length and difficult for the puzzles. Playing this makes me want to try the full version.

Why would you make a free game and then half way through the game make me pay 4.99 to continue.....must be Thursday cuz the garbage on this game needs taken to the curb

Wow! If the whole game is as good as the beginning, this is worthy of purchase. Great graphics and use of hidden objects. Just started less than 5 minutes ago and think it's worth 5 stars...easy!

Im enjoying the game but a little expensive for my taste, Im on a limited income so I have to be careful. Thank you for making a very enjoyable game .

Big Fish games have never disappointed me. My computer crashed and I lost alot but purchasing them again little at a time.

This is a well coded game for mystery lovers. There is quite a bit of running around, but' it has decent puzzles to pass the time.

This game is good but not worth $4.99 it was too easy for you and was conquered very quickly.

Too short not worth the price. Cute story line though. Took less than 6 hours to play the whole game.

I've been with big fish games for years. I love that they have so many games to play. I got my kids hooked on playing on their site. Lol!!!!!
