Amaranthine: The Obsidian Book

This game had a decent story. The puzzles ranged from easy to moderate in difficulty. The graphics were pretty good. And the HO had a little unique twist here and there. There were a few glitches that either froze my game or outright crashed it completely, but a quick restart usually overcame the issue. The game is a little overpriced but worth a play.

The 4th game in the Amaranthine series isn't as good. The graphics have improved, the sound is great, and the puzzles are fun and challenging. But what else is new? It's really just more of the same. It feels like they have run out of ideas and are just repeating themselves. Also, the story isn't as good. It is a prequel so you play as a character that isn't Sylvia Brown; a character I have grown attached to. My least favorite Amaranthine game. I hope the next one rekindles my love for the series.

This one was a disappointment in the whole series. I liked the first three but this one is not as good. The story is dull and not very pressing, plus I had to uninstall it once after buying, and when I reinstall it, it wants me to pay the worth again. Only bought to get the AV series in place. Hope the next one would be better.

Game freezes all the time. Runs just fine until you purchase it. I feel ripped off!

This game is glitching and now I am stuck! I can't go any further because the game keeps freezing up during a necessary action! What a waste of money!!!!

This is the 3rd product that I've had lock up on me in this series. Avoid these games.

It is okay. Not as good as some of the other games in this series. But, still fun.

Short free chapter. Nicely done. Backgrounds reminded me of the Empress of the Deep.

Graphics and animation you have come to expect from game fish but froze after going through gate from underground water tunnel. I can blow up the tree but click on the water and it freezes every time. Uninstall and wasted my money and time!

Was well worth the wait for this installment to the Adamantine Game/Series, and to discover that there is another one makes me happy as I am totally hooked on this series. Am actually looking forward to number 5 in the series now. Hope I is as good as all the others thus far.

I paid the money but got stuck in the middle. I need my money back. Or fix the game.

Having freezing problems also. Will try downloading again but not to pleased at having to start over.
