How To Play for Android
Some games have bad rules. Crazy Eights says object of the game twice. One is wrong. Egyptian Rat Screw says to try to play a face card or Ace in your allotted chance, but doesn't mention how many chances you get (it's a different amount based on the previous card). Also after going in one game, you can't go into another. Clicking any other game goes back to the first one if you use the phones back button. Only if you use the back button at the top of the app does it work fine.
Fonts run out of their text boxes so you can't read half the words. Open one game, go back, pick a new game and the first game is displayed. Half the screen is taken up with a useless brand header. Great example of how *not* to make an app.
Downloaded app etc etc etc. Any card game I type in search bar or search by amount of players, tells me sorry no games match my search. After furthering my knowledge on the app it was my fault that it couldn't find any card games.....
Text comes out of text boxes, ugly font, poorly written rules. If this is advertised in your card decks, at least make it up to par with your product.
Clicked one game at the beginning, then all subsequent searches lead to the same game from before. Edit: you have to use the in app back button on the top left. NOT the back button on your device.
Handy to have the rules, but app is buggy. Hard to read text in places, crashes, and search results with previous contents intermixed make the experience poor.
This is a great idea executed very poorly. There are many UI issues (must use the arrow to return or you go back to the same description, lines drawn through text, cannot complete search from the keyboard, lack of hyperlinks/sections within the game description). In addition, I have found no way to turn off the sound of shuffling cards, which is terribly distracting in a quiet setting.
Everytime you pick a game, you have to basically restart the app to change games. Not great for browsing.
This app does not have the rules for very many games at all. For a company that has made cards forever one would expect a better app.
I've seen script kiddies do better work with databases and searches. You just embarrass yourself. Fire your internet staff and find a 10 year old to play test your apps.
This app works the first time you open rules to a game, but after that it pretty much refuses to open a different set of rules without closing the app. Who knew a book would actually be more convenient?
I was surprised by how many card games and variations are NOT represented in this app. Also too buggy to be reliable. You're better off Googling than using this app.
If you pick a game then go back to find a different one it stays on the first one. Text runs outside boxes. If you get the problems fixed I'll change my rating to 5 stars.
This app is fun just to pick a game at random to play with friends, on top of that the search is easy. The type search is a little weird and the only thing I want to see implemented is to be able to favourite games
Good idea but the layout is pretty bad. Text all over the place running outside of the margins and stuff.
Same problems as everyone else. Don't do like I did and download it thinking you'll be special somehow
If Bicycle made playing cards like this app there would no King of Diamonds no King of Spades or five of Hearts but SIX queens of clubfeet! and half the deck would be glued together! This can not be helping the Bicycle brand's image. Can I just BLOW A RASPBERRY?..THIS BICYCLE HAS A PUNCTURE
Can only load instructions for one game then have to exit and close app to get other instructions. This app was free and I think I paid too much for it.
If it worked, it would be a great app
Contains games for folks of all ages. My family has been enjoying a few new games because of this app.
Clearly clicked on a different game several times and every single time I got the rules for Spider Solitaire. Old Maid? How about Spider Solitaire. Go Fish? Spider Solitaire. I got a game for you: it's called uninstalled.
Not a smooth UI with back buttons not remembering your search. No way to mark favourites. Clunky text and messy layout sometimes showing wrong text. BUT 80% of the time it is fine for a quick reference if you forgot games or need to learn a new one. Not great for long complex games.

I like how it teaches you new games to play with friends or by your self. The only problem with it is when you try to click on a different game to learn it is popping up a different game that you didn't want to learn lol. Just fix that and the app will be perfect. And I recommend adding pictures for details on how to play a game.
Good standard descriptions of games, needs a favourite button to keep a list of games we like. Good for family games.
The text doesn't fit properly in the space alloted for it, but worse than that is the fact that the game you click on is not always the one that shows up for instructions. I clicked on Crazy Eights many times and the app kept showing me the instructions for Concentration.
Hot tip. Don't use the phone's ”back” button. Use the GUI's back arrow to back out to the main menu, else, you'll just be returned to the previously read rule set.
Bad UI, bad rules, bad layout, bad etc.....

It's great to have the rules but there are weird problems. Like filling out the search box then pressing the submit button does nothing; you must close the keyboard and press the "search" button after typing your game name! And some text doesn't fit in its boxes, making it hard to read. And where is gin rummy? Many far less popular games are there!
Was least expecting this while installing an app from such reputed card manufacturer. This app is a disgrace. Please take it down. Lot of problems & bugs. Scrolling doesn't work.
But needs major bug fixing, the app won't scroll down, so promising after playing around with it on your guy's website
You would think that such a simple app would be unlikely to be so buggy. They need to fire whoever wrote this for them. If it worked at all, it would be an excellent tool.
Very buggy, descriptions could be more thorough. I'd like to see variant rules as well.

It only says the rulse for one game. Poker, which is hands poker. It's stuck on that one. Plz fix.
The major bugs I saw were these, You can't read most of the description of the game, and if you try to pick a new game it shows the Previous one instead. If you could fix these, this would probably be a pretty good app!
I saw the comments about the glitchy UI. Here's what to do. When you click on a game and you want to go back to the game list DO NOT use your phones back button. Use the arrow in the UI at the top left of the screen. Problem solved! Other than that small issue, the app seems fine. Will update if I find other issues. I suspect I'll be using it a lot!
by Q####:
I had previously given this app two stars because once I picked a game I couldn't select a second one without exiting the app and restarting it. I just discovered, however, that if you use the subdued, hard-to-see arrow on the upper left, you can get out of the first game you select and pick a second one. Given that and the fact that the interface is pretty good, my rating goes from two stars to four.
