The 8 puzzle game is a tile based puzzle game invented in 1874. There are 8 tiles and an empty slot in a 3 x 3 matrix. You can slide a tile to an adjacent empty slot vertically or horizontally. The goal is to order tiles from 1 to 8 with empty slot at the last. This game is a good exercise for the brain and lots of fun to play.
