Beyond Tabletop

Creating a character is very good. But in play with a campaign sheet you can not use the menu. You have to backout of your campaign go to the menu then back to the campaign. Very very frustrating. App hasn't been updated since 2014 so a fix is very unlikely. Would not have paid for pathfinder sheets if I knew about this.

Barely worth it even when it was free. The app is buggy; it wouldn't let me log on to the account I'd created on the computer and everywhere I click gives me errors. Even on the website you have to enter all of the information manually, which takes hours, and you have to pay for feats, which in Pathfinder is a pretty integral part of the game. Don't buy into this time-suck. It's even worse than a paper sheet.

The concept is excellent. There are occasionally bugs but the app and the website are pretty straight forward about this being a BETA. Both the app and website work well enough and the character sheets are very well done. The whole enterprise lacks any form of offline capability, probably because all the data is stored on the users Google Drive. It would be excellent if the map and token features allowed for alternate addresses of locally stored data as well. Getting the Google Drive stored images to work ebbs and flows as Drive changes their sharing policies. Things I am hoping to see in the future: - More robust support for monsters on the Battle Map, maybe even a bestiary module which stores data for both Pathfinder and D&D5 stats - Support for DM or GM dice rolling on the Battle Map for NPCs, Monsters, and so on, with the ability to toggle player view-ability of the rolls - Off-line file support

I can't modify shapes on the battlemap on either of my Android devices. I have tried looking for an answer to this problem but I can't find any. The options on the left to change colour etc. Just don't appear when I select the shapes. When I rotate my tablet screen it boots me out of whatever I am doing, and when I select the dashboard option it just gives me an error 404 screen. The token sizes also seem to change when they feel like it rather than when I want them to. Please fix battlemap and I'll buy.

Can't even create a character sheet without paying $10. I recommend searching for "5e character sheet" - green d20 icon. You can make a character sheet for free, and their pay wall is only $3.

Needs subclass options.

But all I got when I tried to login was an Internal server error message... If you can fix this and make it work... I'd even consider paying for it... :( Fix it!!! Please?!?

One problem though. I started inputting my character and I noticed that there is no custom background option. My character has a custom background, so I can't put her in. Shame, cause I love the app. Fix it please.

Downloaded then followed prompt to log in to Google then suddenly I get locked out with 500 internal server error. I'm changing my passwords as this just seems shady don't download it.

I've been playing Hero Kids with my family, and didn't expect it to handle characters, but wanted it for battle mapping. The app runs through a browser (defeating the entire point of making an app) but doesn't work as well as the website. The mapping function is poor at this point, I didn't find any way to set a background, import icons, or make terrain out of anything other than square or circle icons. At this point: meh

I wanted to send you feedback on the app, regarding some faults. I love what I have seen so far, I have just found a few bugs. First of which is the Help portion doesn't have any email capacity, so no one can send you a message directly. Fix this and I will happily share more and increase my rating.

So far I love the app, I've told all my friends about it, but the spells list currently do not have any description to them, it would make it so much easier to have them on there already then having to google or look through the player handbook to figure what spells do, exactly. Other than that I haven't found any problems that make it bad :)

However I have an issue deleting characters, or even companions. It won't register that I hit the little trash can, it only becomes red for the character and does nothing on the companion.

It's a really great app , still going to main screen when switching from portrait to landscape though.

So I want to rate this based on the website service itself, but the app is impossible to use. If I rotate my tablet, I am returned to the home screen and logged out. Please fix this so that we can properly utilize and rate it properly.

I've used it on the desktop version as well and I love it! The only thing I would do is add an offline version for local play.

Well as a website its not bad, but it requires online access and is very sluggish to use. And it does not rescale well for different screens. Very men experience.

Needs work

It's a shame - but since I installed this app on my tablet (Nexus 9), I've only seen the DnD 5e character sheet successfully load once. Every other attempt has resulted in 'We're sorry, something has gone wrong', and a peculiar message telling me to try this in a different browser. Erm. I'm not in a browser, I'm using your app. If your own app can't handle it, what hope does using a web browser have? Pretty little sadly, as duly I did try it in both Firefox and Chrome on my desktop, where it failed too. Even if it had worked though - not a lot of good to me, as the desktop isn't portable to my gaming sessions. I get that it's a beta, but a beta needs to provide *some* functionality for one to beta test - and at the moment, this doesn't provide any features at all.

The PC/NPC creator is awesome! The lay out is really easy to understand and packages all the information really nicely. The battle map function on the other hand still needs some work. It works really well for small battles but doesn't allow you to draw larger maps nor can you import any drawing from drive.. So while I will be using it to replace most of the paper in my game there still is allot of work to be done here!

Ive been using it as a character sheet and so far is worked okay. Better than anything else for androids I've seen. Still needs some work. Need better formatting. Pre-loaded feats and equipment. Then this would be getting a full five stars easily.

Maps don't have clear buttons. No tutorials for new people. Concept great, but faster to draw up the paper map.

So much potential but the system runs too slow. I can keep a sheet on myth weaver and gain access to the info I need much faster.

User this weekly on my laptop and phone. Much better than paper. (Pathfinder)
