Read this comment first, this would be helpful so press thumbs up. Haha. So, the story is not a love story, it's more of mystery. Honestly, there is no such a lovestory in this game, it took 6 times for me to play this just to understand the story. Ok so this is my theory....about the two scene, the old man's asking you if what do you want, to cut your fingers just like what the man did just to watch hockey means to get what you want which is to get out of there, you need to sacrifice anything, like what the man did, he cut his fingers just to do what he want and the other option is wait your friend at the ER means you'll walk with him forever and wait what would happen.
