It won't allow me to delete saves which sucks a lot. Hard to scroll text boxes for some reason they just are often unresponsive. The button to activate pickpocket and lockpicking often makes my character unresponsive to all commands until the mode is unselected. Please fix these issues.

I'm not a mobile gamer, but I really thought this would be a perfect mobile game, nope. I would say only consider it if you have a larger tablet or just get it on pc. Trying to play it on my phone was an absolute pain.

by E####:

So many bugs on Xperia Z2 unplayable past the tutorial. Regret the purchase. Maybe suitable only for tablets.

To be honest, I used to play modern-RPG which is a bit more simple than this. So, this is my first time played this classic-RPG and got addicted to it. How I should say it...?? It just that...I love this kind of RPG.

P70%
by P####:

Overall, this is a great port of a classic RPG that hits its mark. The only complaint I have, is that despite this being the enhanced edition of the game, the enhanced edition characters are unavailable. I wish I had known thay prior to buying it. That was a pretty big let down, but otherwise the game is just as fun as the PC version and still full of content.

As above - never has installed. Emailed developer they told me to clear certain things and delete other things - uninstall and reinstall. Literally everything I actually did before I emailed them. So waste of £6 and a good couple of hours of my time trying to install and messing about pointlessly emailing game developers. Tried again 6 months later before posting a review. Still won't download. Must be nice getting money for nothing.

Game is awesome, controls take a little getting used too. Only issue is that second story, "the black pits" is quite buggy. Basically unplayable. 1st story line is awesome, good story, little long sometimes. Easy to replay, its like a book that you can interact in.

O70%
by O####:

love the game and would love to buy the second game and more! but cannot due to this game taking 2.4gigs of space. would be fine if they support sd storage but they do not. a whole wopping 26MB is all that will store. PLEASE SUPPORT SD STORAGE SO I CAN BUY YOUR OTHER GAMES!!!!!!! :)

I can't praise the developers enough for bringing the infinity engine to Android. Given that the market is predominantly saturated with people that are happy with standard f2p fare it seems unfathomable that such a venture is worth it but I find the mechanics and gameplay superior to nearly everything available right now. Imagine being in awe that a game can offer so much satisfaction rather than surprise that it offers any at all. Beam dog should truly be celebrated for preserving games so absorbing and bringing them to the palm of our hands.

Baldur's gate is an amazing RPG and the android version is flawless! I really want to see BG 2 made for tablets as well...as the title states, if you call yourself an RPG fan then this game is a must have! I currently game on a 13.3 inch Hannspad running android 4.2.2 and I haven't encountered any gameplay issues. Oh yeah, if you get this game and think you're going to play it on a phone...forget it! This game was not made for phones, plain and simple. You need a 8 inch or larger screen.

This game was created in 1999 and when I first played it, I was like OMG this game is awesome. My dad received a trial of the first two chapters. After we played the first two chapters we needed more and got the game in its entirety. Then after we completely mastered the game we were depressed that it was all done. Then they came out with the sword coast. That didn't give much extra but still fantastic. The rest is history. However this game is the #1 rpg adventure ever created on a pc. This game is great.

This game is totally worth its cost. The game brings back old memories of the old school (and proper) rpgs. For those that have issues with a weird black screen with text, just get a different version APK, like Mali. The only issue I have is the new Orc meshes. The original one was much much much cooler and better. Nevertheless thank you for such a good game XD

I played bg when it was first released and it remains a highly playable grand rpg which I keep installed on PC to this day. Whilst the additional work on the enhanced version is all fine it does neither add or subtract from the original. Still this runs faultlessly on my nexus 7 and was worth the wait. The controls have been smartly reworked for touch screen and though it takes a bit of zoom juggling at times, that is expected. Entering some doors can be a problem which could do with an expanded click zone

T70%
by T####:

The size of the download is a large compared to other Android games but the size of the adventure justifies it. Beamdog has failed to keep the android version up to date when compared to the Windows and other versions. This less than perfect level of suport meas I can no longer give this otherwise good game a perfect 5 stars. Definately deserving of all the praise it has recieved but falls just short of a perfect score.

08/07/2017 - Still not working. Metro PCS - Samsung Galaxy S3 (Android 4.3), when I downloaded this game it worked fine. But sometime after that there must have been an update and it no longer works just simply a black screen. Complete waste of money.

It such a good game. I used to play this on PC with my family. So happy they have it on mobile. The only problem I have with it is. When I created a character I cant seem to write any names at all (wonder if that can be fix) or if you know a way to fix the solution. I even had to uninstall it which didn't work.(edit: got it to work now.)

I have paid for this game on my tablet but haven't enough space for it so I figured I'll download it on my phone. Nope! Can't without paying again. Feeling burned. Edit the customer service is impeccable. Problem resolved in less than 1 hour.

It's extremely hard to play on a phone. Can you maybe do a UI update like better UI scaling (especially the buttons on either side) so that it's better playable on my phone? I'd gladly update my review afterwards because it's a superb game!

This game came out the year I was born I grew up playing it. Its absolutely awesome, runs buetifuly. There is one problem the game is 2.28 gigs but some required files aren't included in that number, i had to clear 2.64 gigs before i could actually download it. Aside from that its absolutely astounding

Love the game, but it does not work with the onscreen keyboard of my galaxy galaxy s tab. Makes it impossible to pregen characters (cant save the file) nor can i write in the journal or do a custom background. Otherwise great game, would love to see these issue resolved.

This is one of my favorite pc games, a perennial reinstall that I'm excited to now have in full enhanced edition glory on my phone. It's probably more ideal on tablets, but the new touch screen-friendly zoom function makes it totally playable on smaller devices. With 100 or so hours of classic yet updated gameplay, this is well worth the price tag. Also, protip: you can move your saves back and forth between the PC version and this one. Handy if you want to play on the go and at home.

BG has a standard of quality that BeamDog can't quite reach, and I'm not talking bugs. Don't buy the in-app purchase NPCs at least at first, as they're not written or constructed quite as well as the rest. Considering that an expansion is in the works this worries me. Still, it's the only way to have BG portable and the porting is well done. That's worth something.

No problems yet on my nvidia Shield tablet. The screen is a little small, but it works perfectly using the stylus and does have a decent amount of zoom for fine control tuning. It's great being able to play a classic like this on the plane or while traveling, I don't have to bring a personal laptop or risk installing on my work one. I haven't tried the multiplayer, but I don't think it would be optimized for long sessions due to the screen size. Nice option to have it though.

they haved messed with the game and changed things, if your cha is low minsc wont join your party, the cave of flesh goloms only spawns like 2 when you rest then spawns carrion crawlers! Couldn't leave it alone had to mess with it. Updating is one thing but changing things is just wrong.

I played this on PC when it was new so I know it's a great game. However this port crashes immediately every time I start it. Too bad, would love to play this on my breaks at work. Hopefully the devs can patch this issue, but for now I have to rate one star.

I purchased this game on my galaxy s7 edge. Frame rate drops to unplayable levels if the character health bar is open in the hud. This makes playing the game very frustrating. Ui is not well optimized for mobile. If you are expecting the same experience as on pc, you will be disappointed. Check to make sure your device will run it without frame drops.

Once you get into the game a bit its awesome. Only complaint is that theres no item description unless you long tap them, which is annoying. Also, I swear to god that the soundtrack is the exact same as the elder scrolls oblivion when not in battle.

was really excited to play this game on mobile but scared it wouldnt work on my samsung galaxy s4. It runs beautifully, love it, never glitches, well designed mobile interface. My one problem: the expansion. I dont see it available on mobile.

I've tried twice it downloads for a few hours then just stops without any explanation. Really wanted to play this game. This game just took my money the developers never responded. I feel ripped off!

Not for casuals but anyone would enjoy it if they invested time. A very long game but worth the investment as it is so entertaining. The sequel is also good. So is Icewind Dale though more combat focused. Get this game it is very funny in places and simply one of THE best RPGs even made!!!

Best Rpg I've played out of the store so far. Will buy all related materials. Not for the casual gamer however. Finally,a mobile Rpg for serious gamers. Great job. Runs great on Galaxy Tab 3; Galaxy S4 and S5; and Iconia One 10.

The game seems fun, but after spending $10 to buy it and a long time to download it, the menu bar at the left side of the screen is gone after my first save and close. Not figured out how to get it back, which severely stunts the functionality of the game. It may just be a bug for my phone (Sony Xperia Z3 Compact--so not the most common), but it pretty well makes for wasted money till it's fixed.

Never heard of this game and right now I'm almost done the tutorial. Seems ok @ the moment. I love challenging games. Finishing and sticking to the game would be the challenge now lol. I bought all BeamDog games on android device. Just need explanations and premiums and I'm good. Saskatchewan player here.

DONT BUY THIS! The game is too dark and you can't increase the brightness. Also the game keeps crashing, it doesn't respond to commands and your characters don't follow commands, I loved this game as a kid and was chuffed to find I could play this on my tablet but the game itself is FULL of bugs or glitches. PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS UNTIL IT'S FIXED AND IN A PLAYABLE STATE.

It is a great game, has a very large storyline, good mechanics.... But the totemic druid needs to be fixed. Whenever you use his summon spirit animal ability, nothing happens. You haven't fixed this issue in a long time developers, and I want to play as the totemic druid so please fix it.

I love the game, but there are times when i dont even get certain quest items like the key for flooding cloakwood mines. I checked everywhere on the map just in case i dropped it, but nothing. So i have to go back to my previous save which is basically restarting the clear i did in the mines. Its so frustrating. As well as quests that need u to get an item for an NPC. There should be something that indicates that an item is a quest item so that you dont get mixed up and accidentally sell the item.

Beamdog doesn't have the staff or resources to properly support their mobile versions of the enhanced edition games. We might, might, get the update that the pc users got in the spring sometime next year. Maybe. Possibly. They don't generally respond to forum questions about mobile versions, because they're focused on making a new product. It's a good game but give the tablet version a pass and stick to pc, as that's the only way you'll get anything like support.

I've been playing this on my pc but, I had forgotten I purchased it on my phone. This is actually a better format for viewing and playing than a pc in my opinion. You would have to play it on a pc to realize what a great conversion it is. More fun than any and android made game that I've played.
