An Unexpected Tavern

This game is a mix of "Diner Dash" and "My Car Salon" type games. It has MAJOR problems though: Forces closed, freezes, and is very glitchy. It is great other that these issues, which shouldn't still be happening,

In this game you drag and tap customers to serve them food and drink, all with a parody Hobbit theme. It's a free game, but the ads are only occasional, although it does try to get you to spend real money to enhance game play. ETA: if you exit the game, or sometimes even when it's just in the background, it will lose all your progress. In other words, there is no save feature. Also the amount of real-world cash required to buy all the additional servers available in the game would be $50.

It makes the game unplayable in its entirety. The stupid -39-year-old ad covers the bottom tables and makes collecting coins there impossible. If that wasn't bad enough, the servers move when you don't really want them to. Uninstalling.

In app purchase failed and the company denied my request for a refund saying that I should be aware of the risk when making purchases on apps like this. Uninstalling. Don't waste your money on this game.

Only one complaint. I litterally started playing 20 or so minutes ago and decided it was worth spending money on! It saddens me that the offers wont load when i try to buy gems :(

With the ad at the bottom of the screen on the map I can't click where I want to go and it's distracting during the game. Give me the option to remove ads and I will change my rating.

Once you buy all you can with coins, your forced to bring out your wallet. It takes forever to reach the last level happiness. I'm just basically earning endless coins and unable to use them anymore. Game is worthless now.

The devs on this game are weak. There gems don't work. You cannot buy them. I did the earn free gems and didn't get any. I contacted the devs who asked me for screen shots. When I said forget it I'm deleting the game they came back and said they were giving me the gems. And it never happened. It's a good game but you should find one where the creaters care about the product

This game is made for profit and nothing else. cheap ugly graphics and then the whole development company wrote a bunch good reviews. very little special currency and everything costing diamonds once you get hooked up

Fun and cute little game loosely based on the hobbit. I laughed out loud when my first eagle customer appeared! Diamonds are easily obtained for free using in ap offers.

I would love to try this game and give it an accurate review, however I cannot launch the game. Immediately after launch the game crashes making this game unplayable for me. I have even tried a full uninstall and reinstall with the same result. Until this issue is resolved this game gets 1 star from me.

Same concept as Garfield diner boarded with that game. I just installed the game and after one level uninstalling don't waste your time.

it's a fun game but it gets stuck too much! I'd give it a 5 but it's just annoying when u have to wait 2mins for every ad to pop up n resume game. stupid game makes me wanna break my phone!

Can not purchase gems!! If I could, I would rate 5. Can't 3ver play to the fullest without buying gems for better people. Tried different phones and uninstalled/reinstalled 3 times. Can't be done. Great game, but I purchased diamonds and the game promptly crashed and lost all of my progress and diamonds. Very frustrating. I've been emailing Basalt Games and I can't get a reply back.

Has glitching issues. I've played on 2 totally different brand tablets and have the same problem with it glitching out and then freezing. I hope this gets fixed so I can download and play!

Fun game and challenging @times but I am not receiving my happiness points unless they are from the token spins. Ready to stop wasting my time and uninstall. Yes I say ripped off by free game because in app features I pay for are not.

This game is very addictive but it needs more levels. Once you get to a certain place you get maxed and there is nothing else to play for. Looks like the developer may have abandoned the game...no updates or bug fixes are being done.

The new update has ads on screen full time You can't play due to ads. Love the game and would pay to upgrade, if available.

Freeze o matic. Game freezes constantly on my galaxy s3 other than that fun game. Fix the freezing issue and I will rate 5.

Really like this game lots of fun but i guess game makers dont want money for it cuz it wont load if i click on the gems in the store! I just wanted to check the price... havent had a problem with adds though and i am connected to a very strong signal for wifi.

I also have had problems with making purchases.

I originally had this at 5 stars but the in app purchases are down until further notice so that really changed rating, spent two days and several hours finding this out.

Good paced game,, however your adds Freeze up the game for several seconds, any notices u get while playing the game will freeze it for a few seconds. Also if u don't respond to the prompts fast enough it will freeze for a few seconds, otherwise a good game.

I've played through this game before, so I know it's quite fun. Problem is, now that I want to download it again, it refuses to open. I simply get a black screen, and then it closes. I hope to find it working for me again someday.

Was looking for dragon tavern but this is ok. Not much strat needed. Just something good to pass time away

It stops responding after a little bit and I have to reinstall

I have had this game for a few months now. It's fun and addictive (I'm a Tolkien geek so, I love the entire Hobbit theme), but once you get to a certain level things kind of come to a standstill. I've got over 600000 coins & nothing to do with them. I don't have enough gems for anything. Frustrating.

Somewhat confusing when trying to but people to help you h it takes you're money but the character that's suppose to help you isn't there please fix this!

It's a cute little play of a good franchise worth playing

I like these type of games. The only issue I have is that I had to restart my phone because the start screen was black.

Wonderful game and graphics!!! I'm addicted.

It does start to lag after playing for a while, but it's still so fun. Customer support is always helpful and quick to help you out as well. Edit: Update introduced ads that block your gameplay, making it so you can't help a customer or pick up gems and tokens that drop. It's a shame, I really enjoyed playing for a little while at least.

I beat the entire game months ago and STILL waiting for new levels. It's no fun when you can't go any further :( PLEASE GET MORE LEVELS...

This game is really great. Addicting, really. It freezes on you, but if you wait a few moments it returns to normal.

It's a decent game. I have no issues on my nexus 7. Am on the last level and have had no need to pay any £££ out. Fun enough, though towards the end it takes ages to earn the required happiness.

Good game, additive, but could have done with tutorial to figure out the little things.

This game has showed me many valuable lessons. Like it is our job to serve the grumpy people in the game it is like that in real life. Jesus is the food that we serve the people in the game that sustains them and makes them happier and the only way we're able to serve these people is because God sent his one son to die on the cross for our sins so we were forgiven. As we accept jesus as our lord and savior we are filled with the holy spirit that makes it even possible to serve the love of Christ. 10/10

Haven't been playing long but so far, no glitches and ads only come up sometimes. My only issue is how long it takes to earn the gems. But overall, its a good time passer and has neat looking characters.
