Oooohhh how I love this game. The nostalgia got me as soon as I heard the terca lumerais world theme. I almost started crying. I love everything about this game... Well almost everything. The fighting is solid, the story is well put together enough to care, the problem is... The artes. Not the actually artes themselves, but obtaining them. While in the past tales games have put them on weapons so that you obtain them when you obtain the item, in this game, obtaining artes is random. The rng of it all is kinda lack luster. I got an the way to chapter 4 before igot a second arte for one of my favorite characters, Yuri Lowell, and (I apologize, but spoilers ahead) you get him in the first chapter. You have a leveling system that only effects stats, which again, was something tales games have done in the past, but I feel like this game could have made artes more of a leveling ideal rather than a hope. Also, (and this is probably just me here) you're micro-transactions are missing the stereotype of being able to buy costumes from it. I probably would've spent money on the game by now if that was there. If they're planning on coming or in the future then I rescind that comment but if not, this game is missing a cash cow so do speak. I'd love to see Yuri running around in his dark avenger outdoor or Luke in his berserker getup. But that's just me and the insane amount of nostalgia talking again.

The start up screen takes far too long. That's my only issue

hmm it's a good game but the story it got to a point I started skipping like seriously so generic. gameplay it's great but it wasn't enough to keep playing sorry.

Listen. I've got nothing against the game. But of all the japanese games you have, this was the one you decided to release in english?? I mean come on. Tell me we did not lose asterisk war for this game??

While simplified heavily for the portable world, The Rays is a proud Tales game i can imagine being ported to the switch or other consoles.

Lame initial loading take almost 5 minutes to initiate.. 4x force close (mi note 3 pro)

Make a console version of a similar team up event on ps4

Would purchase if made for any console. Pros. Tight controls- actual characters moving around during storyline(not none of that flat picture art which most mobile game usually do) A+ live action story. Cons theres an energy system and Ive been hearing that it costs a lot less to pull in the Japanese version.

Sadly this awesome game that's close to the other console games being shadowed by the microtransactions and random gacha system.. TvT.. Why..

So this game doesn't give you a warning as to when it's going to download stuff. It just does it. It gives a disclaimer at the bottom to say something along the lines of it will be slower on 3G/4G but it should have asked first before randomly starting to download huge chunks of data. This happens twice! Further more, my usual nick name in Tales game, "thommo" is banned because of inappropriate words. What is inappropriate about that?!

This game is insanely well executed. Smooth gameplay, solid work on existing familiar systems. Just fun all around

Definitely a fun experience. If you've played any traditional tales game, you'll feel right at home.

Good game for a Tales fan for the story, the playability of the game is rather barebones at the moment, the lack of skillsets locked behind gacha or friend summons at the start doesn't help to improve the experience. I dislike the prices for 2k orbs either, 30gbp is rather expensive for 10 item draw. I really hope they improve the starting experience and make the prices rather sensible, as a Tales fan, I want the game to do well and attract people to the series but not in this current state as am afraid it'll put people off.

I'm happy coz this game release it on english ver. I play this game since it will release it on japan ver. But I'm not happy with summoning prices seriously it's 2k per 10x1 summon. JP ver is only 200 per 10x1 summon. And please fix the lagg issues. And please add guild system and chat system so that the game will be more exciting

My friend was having a concern with the crashes ocassionally but I myself have not experienced any. But I must say the summon 2000 is a bit more expensive than we'd expect. The targeting system is a tiny bit wonky but the flow of the artes is pretty great!

Really love this game ... bandai pleasee make more english version jrpg game like digimon linkz,tokyo ghoul:re invoke,the asterisk war adn jojo bizzare adventure diamond record.. i want them to come out in english version .. pretty sure if you make all your jrpg in english it will became a hit

Super addicting! I wish they add more events or modes like arena in the future. The first chapter was a breeze but the next few get harder to fully complete. A love the tales franchise and it plays similar to the classic ones. Can't wait to see how far it'll go.

It's over all a good mobile app. But it's missing what makes a good tales game, and that's the interaction between characters. I would love to see how these characters from other tales games interact with each other. I can see that the dialog actually is on point which makes it even more frustrating to not see interaction between characters like jade and yuri for example.

Fun game.. Doesn't seem formatted right for the galaxy s8+ though. The right side of the combat screen is cut off

This game is great and i loved it brcause theres finally a game that has a fun combat system and i think this would be great if there was mutiplayer so i can enjoy it with my friends

The summoning artes is a little too pricey but overall the gameplay itself is enjoyable to play in.

The game is ok, the gameplay is appropriate for mobile gaming, its just that I'm not impressed with the storyline. But still I considered Tales of the Abyss as the best Tales game I've ever played...

when global release always low-rate while jp version many give aways and 2k per 10+1 and all low rate
