Bear in mind I have a one plus one phone and it may not be main stream enough to have been optimized for. The game is very fun, with good depth and replayability. It's worth the $4 to shut down the endless dating ads. The application itself is immature and doesn't gracefully exit, I have to force stop it to exit the game. The first few times I ran the program the phone would get noticeably warm. I no longer have that issue. It does use the battery a lot, especially if I don't force stop it.

Certain combinations of cards are near impossible to beat regardless of whether you bluff or not. For example, starting first with Captain and Duke is very difficult to beat, except in a very small set of circumstances. Overall, the 1v1 game just seems quite unbalanced and a bit predictable given the small number of characters, but perhaps that is just me. I suppose the game gets better once you include more players, but ain't nobody got time for that.

Game randomly shuts down and you lose your rep. If opponent doesn't take their turn within time nothing happens and if they still don't go, you eventually have to exit (concede) and you lose rep. Get "an error occurred during your move please try again later" message, time out, get booted and lose rep. Don't pay a cent, you'll get ripped off.

Confusing interface, big delays, errors, really bad advertisement placement and missing notifications often causes a game lost. The game is also enforce you for internal points to give 5 star. Lot of bugs also during the game play. (e. g the game jump back one turn, a lot of player time booted, wrong player challenged etc...) the cardgame offline pretty good...

Coup is a really fun game. Unfortunately, the app sucks. It crashes constantly, and I've lost numerous games after the app crashed and I couldn't reopen it before my turn ended. Clearly, a lot of work was put into the design and graphics. Why not make an app that works first?

Buggy! This is my only issue with it. It crashes if I try to look at past games. Half the time when I'm looking for a game it will not update that I'm in a game. Which means I lose because of not taking my turn. If I know I'm in a game I can restart the app and it will update and run right most of the time. The game is great when I get to play it.

This is a great and really fun game, but the app itself has major issues. There have been way too many times where I choose a match, and while it's waiting on opponents the app will freeze. So I try to close it out, and while it's loading the game back, I get notifications that I'm in a match and it's my turn, but I can't get into the game! And then time runs out and I end up getting booted from the game that I spent rep on! Also, there is no foreign aid, and that sucks.

Coup is really fun to play, either with AI or random players. It's easy to understand the instructions and the gameplay is challenging. And its free! Still wondering why not many people install this game. I never played the real board version of Coup so im glad u made an app of it. Not encountering any problems, yet (thats why i only give 4 stars), I hope u can keep making apps for other board games

I like the app. Good port to mobile device. Unfortu ately, Foreign Aid has been removed from the game entirely which is a pretty important part of Coup. Also, it can be a little difficult trying to track the progress of a game. Especially when you are forced to discard one card (unable to see what others have played during these decisions). Otherwise, a pretty good boardgame port to mobile devices.

There's a good attempt to get a similar game experience, though the removal of foreign aid impacts the dynamic of the game a lot. The two player rules are also amiss. The ads are a bit intrusive. Also it may have been a better idea to have a reputation-gaining activity instead of the Active tab. Also the 1st tutorial is in Completed but I never got the achievement points.

This app tanks my battery life on my Nexus 6p and Nexus 9. It also seems to be running at full tilt when it isn't necessary and causing both devices to heat up quite a bit. It seems you're running on Unity, is there some battery saving features to trigger in the engine? Really fun game

4 stars. At first, it locked up on the sign in screen, but after a few times of opening it, it worked :) I wish you rd didn't have to buy the original cards though. I may buy them in the future. Good game overall, but I would definitely recommend buying the real game over this. Good job for porting it over to Android though!

The game overall is pretty good. One problem i faced is that after I finish a gama or two, I close the app and after couple of minutes I get a "batch" of notifications related to the games I played. The other thing is that the app can't​ be closed with the back button, so there is no "exit" unless i tap Home button. One more thing, I suggest making the game a bit faster, no need to have more games simultaneously, one game at a time with 30 seconds turn time would be good. Less card animation might make it better.

Love it all the deduction and deception. I wish you folks would make a coup: rebellion app please think about it then make it happen. I love all the decks although I would love to see some classic style cards with block print style art-deco. Just a suggestion. Coup is alot of fun once you get the hang of it.

Some time notification is not work, application not responding and force close on my Nexus 4 Android 7. These bugs make me lose and really make me upset!!!! Get rid of it and I will give it 5 stars. Edit: Now can't login after the app force close. Edit: The server is really bad also.

Absolutley enjoy the home game andni n have the expansions for it. The only problem with this free to play game is that you have to pay or watch ads to earn in game credits to be able to play a game at all. It should either have a paid version of this game or the game gives you free credits based on a time limit. Be wary here for that reason. Otherwise a fantastic game and the achievement system is definately a fun addition to the challenge the game provides.

I wanted to play in a group match, so i open one up with 50 reps. Then it suddenly says 1000000000+ reps, so i instantlt leave the match, because i thought i did something wrong. Now i have 1000000000+ reps that i didnt have before, and now im really confused. I appreciate it, but their not really mine. I didnt pay money for them

The app is very well designed and gameplay progresses smoothly. I deducted one star because my only gripe is that it's missing the move to 'request foreign aid'. If they fix that, I'll change to 5-stars.

Great concept. Horrible bug that makes that whole game unplayable where the time doesn't count down properly so you don't know if it's your turn You cant access completed games without crashing as well.

Of the physical game. Crashes a lot though. EDIT: I clearly spoke too soon. This app is buggy as all get out. When paying for a match, they often will multiply (and make you pay for each) which is just annoying when the matches work correctly, but quite often they don't. They will hang or often just randomly boot you. This was the first app I had considered spending money on in over a year, not anymore though. Serious work needs to be done.

Just like the tabletop version, albeit with less of the table talk and bribes. Multiple card styles so you can play with the cards you know or the free, cartoony characters. I miss being able to read people's faces so it makes it harder but it's just as addicting. At minimum it's worth the free download, at most buy all the customizations.

Coup is such a fun game. Five stars for graphics because i love the fun spin on the players and the cards. Four stars for game play because it can be confusing on whether i need to challenge first in order to block. Four stars because i wish i didn't have to buy the classic cards. Over all, love the app. Easy to navigate and the tutorials at the beginning are a great idea.

Lost multiple games because the app doesn't respond and I get timed out. BS!! Update 4/18/17: Still losing games because the app stops responding and I get timed out. How is it hard to have a server that can process basic commands????

Half of the buttons I push (steal, assassinate, coup, and chat) glitch and crash every time I try to use them. Completely ruins the point of the game. Please fix.

Played the board game for hours. Unfortunately, the app is so plagued with ads that it hangs, crashes, or doesnt even open in the first place. GREAT GAME. TERRIBLE APP.

It's a pity, because the gameplay itself would be good, but everything is so unbearably slow (I guess due to slow backend servers). A simple login takes around 5 minutes.

Amazing physical board game. This adaptation of it very good but it is missing foreign aid. This is something that is not used all the time but can be part of some good strategies to oust others or hide your intentions. I suggest getting the physical game if you can as it is very cheap.

Can't beat free! I'd give it 5 but the ads are just a bit too intrusive for my tastes. When it interrupts gameplay on a timed turn, kind of a nuisance. Still, a great game and a good way to try out before buying the physical version.

This game is very fun. It's can be fairly fast-paced but still maintains some strategy. However, I've encountered two issues. The first one is that if I send a random game request and then start a "practice" game, the game often crashes when it finds a human opponent. Second, if it doesn't crash upon finding an opponent, it sometimes doesn't notify me that it found you an opponent and it times me out and you lose. Fixing those minor issues would make this a definite 5 star rating.

I played half a dozen games and I still have no idea what's happening in it. Remembering what each character does isn't too hard but the info ticker in the middle that shows you what's happening doesn't give near enough info. I have no idea who's doing what to who.

Finally something on play store that is worth playing. I just have one suggestion, please make the animations faster... It takes too long for things to move around (cards, menus, tooltips, etc...)

When I challenge blocks I always lose a card even when the player is bluffing. Love the game otherwise, I'm a big fan of the card game, which makes this glitch even more frustrating. I'll change my rating if I stop encountering this or if you address that you know this is going on.

The game play doesn't work properly. The last game I lost, I challenged the opponent for having a Contessa when I was going for an assassination and had to reveal my last. I stick around to see the of the game and my other opponent beats him with an assassin and was revealed the that opponent I lost to didn't even have a Contessa in the first place!!! Not the first time this happens and it's super frustrating!! Glitches I can forgive, but if the game play isn't executed properly it doesn't warrant a great rating as everyone else says here

After a few plays, found that one of the biggest problems with the game is that you sometimes get desync from the server and it is not clear that this happens. You have to restart the game to resume your game, often only to find out that you've been booted. Would be excellent if the bugs are ironed out. EDIT: Read the FAQ on why Foreign Aid is missing which makes sense, so adding +1 star to my original review. EDIT 2: oh great. Now going to the "Completed" tab will cause my game to crash every time. -1 star

Lots of full page pop-up ads before you open a game. No foreign aid like in the card game. Otherwise this is a pretty good app. It's great for when you and your friends are stuck in a long line together or if you can't get together to play. I think I prefer playing it in person, but this is a decent substitute.

This game is perfect but ads is a turn off for free player. The ads on every turn is very annoying almost made me quit but I paid instead because it does worth it. I wish it got offline option to play with people around us instead.

I love this game It is really addicting, plenty of challenge, and can get pretty competitive if you play it 1v1 as opposed to a 4 player game. You play it a bit like chess and outplay your opponents to win. One thing to the developers: my game is crashing every time I try to access my completed games history. It might have to do something with me played over 100 games already. Would like to see maybe past 10 of my games.

I receive in game currency for this review, but I'll be honest. It's a good port of the board game (minus foreign aid), has a lot of premium purchases but their justified for the price. Disappointing lack of local multiplayer, and it's easy to bluff through a screen.

I really enjoy the game, but some of the players need to be banned. I just had 2 4 player games where the other 3 were booted for not taking their turn! And 2 that were booted from the first game were in the second game!
