Army of Darkness Defense

So many classic one liners from the movie itself! Smooth gameplay and challenging levels without being sheisty on the upgrades. You can purcha$e or just stack your points to get things. Pretty effen cool. I wish EVERY game based on a movie could pay attention to detail like these guys did. "Hail to the King, baby!"

Great game. Easily playable by my younger siblings yet I still enjoy it greatly. No matter how many times I play through it it's still fun and the only problem I have ever had with the programming is once in awhile the new device I try to use sometimes won't support it haha. Five stars all the way

This game is pretty fun. Its like being in the movie. As soon as i installed it I played and already liked it. I kept playing until i beat it level 50. Just a thing to ask can you add some more weapons and soldiers and powers and all. I know these are the only things thats on the movie but I enjoyed slaying the army of darkness.

I rememeber playing this game on an old iPhone several years ago and was disappointed when it didn't work on my galaxy. I tried downloading it just for the hell of it the other day and it worked! They must've fixed some sort of bug. Anyway the game is funny and addicting...quite simple but enough to keep you engaged. There are inapp purchased but I didn't need to use any to progress. I'd highly recommend this game!

Played this a couple of years back and was pretty advanced in the game as far as upgrades, both purchased and earned. When I changed phones, the game transferred over ok but I lost all my upgrades. Had to start all over so I uninstalled app. Restore purchase doesn't help either. Otherwise 5 stars!

The amount of times I've had to restart the game, not by choice but just because that's what it's decided to do today. This has happened twice. There was also a point where the game would load and crash for weeks, this happened on all of my devices. It's not money spent that frustrates me, it's the time put in and the lack of consistency that had taken the flavour out of me wanting to complete the game.

One of my first and favorite apps I got back on my Itouch 4g now fully fixed and working on the latest Android devices! Special thanks to Backflip for going back and fixing the crashing bugs on Android 5 and 6, shows you care and I personally appreciate it!

why cant there be more games of this quality? Installed on note3 and it crashes constantly, please fix so I can rate 5 stars again. worked again but now sound ghosting bad please fix

I love it but the background could have been changed with each level or after a few levels then it would have been great... you could also make the grafic a little 3D... i would rate it 5 star if done so... got bored after doing d same thing again and again...

I just love this game! Had it on all my old iOS devices, and I've been playing it for a very long time. It stopped working for a while, but it started working again, which makes me super happy.. Backflip Studios, you are the best!

When you play survival for a couple of minutes there are tons of arrow skeletons one shoting everyone, its actually impossible to do anything afterwards even the death coaster dosent get far enough to get even and its max out. So please make it so survival is actually some way survivable and you will get 5 stars.

This is a good game overall, with appealing graphics, good gameplay, and just difficult enough on the first 40 waves. But once you reach wave 50 or so, it becomes nearly impossible without hours of grinding for gold. But, overall AMAZING game, and I hope to see more!

Challenging near the end, look forward to the sequel. Nothing better than blowing brains out with a shotgun and saying it's just pillow talk baby

The torch boy and sword boy are useless and take up slots. These two and the peasants should be given without use of slots. Spells is limited to two which sucks since we put a lot of gold to upgrade them. Otherwise this game is surprising enjoyable for a game I though I would.delete after three rounds.

Played this way back on my old iPod, all the way to the end. It ran alright on an S3, and ran horribly on my OnePlus One. Crashed every few minutes. I recently got an S6, and you lads appear to have updated it recently too! So, it seems that it works perfectly on more recent phone models now. Looks like you devs aren't a bunch of primitive screwheads after all. :3

I have played the campaign about 6 times. I even clocked the game completely. On the infinite wave, I had levelled up absolutely everything to full, and it was impossible to lose. I love this game so much. I installed it when it was new, and have been playing it for years (I think 2-3) since then.

The cartoon style graphics are quirky and interesting and audio samples from the film add to the atmosphere and while there really isn't much too it the game is fun to play and a good way of killing some time. A big bonus is that this is a complete game and you can easily obtain everything it has to offer without having to buy anything.

It was all fun until Endless mode. Endless mode could have been a great time killer if not for the horde of Archer skeletons one-shotting everything troop you deploy. Even a maxed out Arthur easily dies to them and the Deathcoaster can't even reach these Archer Deadites. In the end, Endless mode becomes "a few minutes of fun until you get so screwed by so many arrows".

If you are a Bruce Campbell fan then you need this game. Full of one liners and Deadite decapitations. Grow your army and defeat the Army Of Darkness and remember shop smart shop S-Mart.

Ever since I finished Injustice mobile and replaced it with this title, I have been having nothing short of a good time. Keep up the good work, kids!

The game is ok but once in a while the character go crazy and I can't control it. I don't know what is happening maybe someone is able to explain that to me. Why the character go forward or backward with out no explanation???

Excellent game. Can't put it down. Update Note II (SCH-1602) Android 4.4.2 game intermittently quits. Dropped 1 star. Quitting more often now -1 more star. Update fixed everything! Yahoo!

Great game, If you've watched the film it's an amazing game. Very simple, addicting, and 100% possible, though stats are bugged (Purchase screen shows different troop stats than selection screen). Here's the trick for anyone who cares; Horsemen, Armoured guards, Arthur, Wiseman, Spearman = Victory (Get to a moderate wave like 30, Kill deadites, Get all cash, then Commit suicide and you'll earn a large amount of cash without advancing so later in game becomes easier).

It's finally working again. Best defence game on Android. I've had to knock 1 star of cause there's no add ons or extra characters or levels being added

I've enjoyed this game many times before but I can't now. It crashes after about ten seconds of running on my LG g3. Since the last update was in 2013 I don't see them fixing this issue.

I got to wave 40 and got stuck so started over with a reset and at wave 30 to 35 I let them kill me and did those levels over and over till ash had all his stats maxed out,if you can't be bothered to do that you can buy coins. The game is very playable and enjoyable. I love that he took time to do lots of evil dead lines

Keep has is it's awesome. If you have not downloaded this yet, watch the movie then download this amazing game. Edit: Needs more levels, may have the third form of Bad Ash (the one after Good Ash had burned the face off of in the movie) return after another 50 waves saying his line from the movie "I've got a bone to pick with you!"

Loved this game a lot, as a Michigan native, this and the whole evil dead series are classics. I made a purchase and upon getting a new phone, my game was not updated nor are my purchases recognized. Not happy about this at all.

Same as others, I was able to play the game for about 10 seconds and then it shuts down. Very disappointed with the developer for not listening to fans of the game.

Only problem is when you get too high on endless say 20 mil and past it starts to lag, Either that or I spawned way to many defenders.

Evil dead, army of darkness, Ash vs evil dead, love it all. Anything with Bruce Campbell in it, is worth watching or playing. So far the game is pretty cool and addictive. I wish i had more control over the use of the chainsaw and boomstick haha.

Haha, so much fun. This is a sincere review try it and you won't be disappointed. It's funny it's nothing but action and it starts to get really challenging after lvl 40. Great game devs!

Thanks for the update!!!! Been playing for years! The great thing about this game is that it is based on one of the greatest cult classics ever made. The only way to properly appreciate it is to watch the movie first. I am definitely a huge fan of this game. It is perfectly delightful, and a lot of fun!

My only problem ash is a bit repetitive on speech but love the game keep the waves coming shortly ended over and done with oh well it was fun while it lasted think it needs more unlockable at endless mode the heavy grind can be fun if your rewarded my only problems with this #short# definitely a 5* game definitely recommend it... If you've got a new phone unsure what to play play this! Hopefully time goes on maybes new things come even a 2nd one? Love it guys rare to get a decent game like this that doesn't jump lines

It's not every day that a good evil dead game comes along. Scaling keeps a challenge, all the references to the movie pull a lot of great memories, weapons are fun to use, etc. My only issues are the audio (it stutters terribly so I have it muted), and the fact that the mini ashes aren't nearly frequent enough. Otherwise blasting deadites on this game is extremely satisfyig. Highly recommended for fans of the film.
