Does it take an hour to play?

Difficult. Unforgiving. These are understatements. Chainsaw Warrior was the blernsball of '80s card games. You will lose repeatedly. People who cheered Harry Potter catching the golden snitch will detest this game, because CW is about the other team, winning 135 to 0, only to lose the match at the last second because all of your hard work was just jazz hands for the crowd while dumb luck decided the real outcome. This game is for people who don't mind seeing the bad guys win. You'll see it a lot.

The game looks great but you have to keep track of your time and health because the game won't tell you if it's game over. Win or lose, it just stops and you have to quit to main menu.

When I die the game just stops progressing. And doesn't go to the death screen.

Won't work on galaxy tab A 10.1

Worked on previous phone fine.

Sometimes when I'm far into the deck the game will put me back at the first card in the deck. I don't know if this is part of the game or a glitch other than that though, this is a fun game

I have a LG G3 and the game opens and then closes after two seconds. All I see is the black screen and the games workshop logo, and then closes. I've also uninstalled and reinstalled several times. I would love to play this gem but I can't. Fix or refund please. I would like to leave a five star rating if you help.

Title screen then back to desktop. Tried the Humble Bundle version, it worked but was upside down. Shame because it was a great adaption of the boardgame.

Very replayable, thoroughly enjoyed it and still do. Feels like a 80s action movie! I can see the trailer now... (Fade in: The New York skyline. The sun sets and then all the lights in the buildings come on, followed by them going out one at a time, then two, then three, punctuated by screams each time.) Casio G'zOne. The blood splatter after a fight does not go away. I have to tab out of the game to clear it. The intro movie had a lot of clipping problems with the display.

Got it and after I saw yogscast and I installed it and I try to run it but after the mag its a black screen plz help

Doesnt even load up anymore. Displays the games name, goes black, then returns to the phone display. Need a refund

Hard game, i believe that is kept true to the card version. Considering this was adapted from a card game the devs have done a great job on the presentation; top comic intro and animations throughout. Good pick up and play game, well suited to mobile.

This game accurately simulates what it would be like to be an '80s action hero fighting...zombies and things. Armed with a chainsaw. Sometimes. This games is a straight copy of the board game, itself a product of '80s board game design which holds randomness above all else. It doesn't pull it's punches, and all those punches will be to the groin or kidneys. You have been warned.

I can remember buying this then I was 13 and playing it every day. I still have the original in the attic.

great translation of a classic board game. yes it relies more on chance than skill, but its still a fun diversion and i find it an incredible breath of fresh air compared to the onslaught of crappy microtransaction-laden grindfests and/or bad match 3 games typical of the platform.

This game is great. Its had my attention for hours. Experimenting with the different device loadouts is compelling, mainly because it is the only thing you have ANY control over. Sure there are other choices you can make, but its all in the end a game of chance. Something I feel wasn't well captured was the feel for the games egregious tone. When I think of chainsaw warrior, I think of buckets of blood, akin to the feel for other products of the time like "heavy metal" the movie. Also, too expensive.

Love it , just as horribly difficult as the original game

A truly unique game and a must-have for those that enjoy luck-based gaming.

Crazy hard given the fact it's all luck with the dice. Nice to see a super soldier not save the day in 60 minutes or less

I want the real thing

Hours of struggling against overwhelming odds await. Great fun, and easier to play on the bus than the original board game would be.

It's certainly smoothly made and well presented, but the game is awful. It's more or less just snakes and ladders, or Ludo, and boils down to mindlessly flipping cards and rolling dice. Your equipment choice does matter, but once you learn the optimum spec after a few goes, it just comes down to pure luck. At least Talisman is more forgiving.

Remember me and my Bro playing this in the 80's. This version really brought back those memories. I'm sure the original artwork is used for the card illustrations which helps. Really guys, everything about this game works.

Great way to spend a commute

Love playing it but even on easy I can only get about 75% of the way through the decks which makes it a bittersweet experience in my opinion

If you are 30+ and enjoy old school games. This is for you. GW at its solo best!

It is the best.

I love this game. I have since the late 80s when I first played the board game version. It's dice (luck) based and I'm pretty sure it was invented by Satan, because it is evil. It will not hesitate to let you think you are doing well and then sucker punch you. That friggin' Slime and Meat Machine are mean. The music and artwork is epic. Game in the News did an amazing job keeping it true to the original. You need to try it out!

Bought the game when it first hit the Play Store, but it didn't run. Waited a few weeks and it still is not working. All I get is a black screen. Someone fix, please, as I paid for this all and cannot use.
