Some of the mini games were a bit challenging while the rest of them were simple. A good mix of both. One thing I really liked was the different types of HO games. Instead of a list of objects to find you get an outline of what is needed. When the items are found they must be reused in order to find the rest of the items. I disliked the fact I cannot access the bonus game. Without the bonus game, this game can be costly. Anyway, I enjoyed playing this game. Please put more of the other HO scenes in your games.

*Update - GOGII/Artifex Mundi > I just wanted to add a couple things - Game has teleporting map, hidden rises throughout, a cute little robot buddy named Atom to assist, stay ZOOM-IN when items clicked in HOS (A VERY BIG PLUS when playing on smartphone & bonus game but. ... NO strategy guide (and when I looked for assistance on 2 minigames online walkthrough didn't have same games so NO HELP, but no biggy). I don't know what people are talking about repeat/copy/remake?? This is a perfect example of pure genius! I love this game! I've purchased/downloaded OVER 150 HOS Mystery Strategy Games and this is the BEST! I'LL BE WAITING AND WATCHING FOR MORE! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

Smooth and interesting gameplay, but having to pay after such a short intro doesn't seem fair. Free parts are usually longer, giving the player more incentive to continue, this was disappointing.

A little more than half way in, I was getting bored but then, it finally came together in a nice way. I do enjoy this style of HO games. Had NO problems with the mechanics if this game, which is a BIG plus for me.

I love this developer but not this game. It was worth the 1.99 I got it for though. Way to many HOG's and lazy spelling errors. The plot is a good concept, it just didn't flow.

Too much running back and forth through long distances for several different pieces of one quest for my taste. Graphics were fine, a lot of searches, if one likes that.

I beleive this game needed to have puzzles to make it a 4 and there was no morphing objects to find or items to collect from the different scenes. I think it would have brought it up to a five. Love that there was a bonus chapter but way too short for me. Thank you all for mKing these great games for us it really makes my dull nights.. The only big problem I have is your not making them fast enough! Lol! I have played them all and some twice...

Love this H. O. G. app! I've played many games like this, either the graphics are too small or the scenes can't be made bigger or the images on the puzzles r 2 small...but, there were no problems of that nature in this app! Awesome play from beginning 2 end! My only criticism is the "other" part of the storyline never happened! I already own this app via my Kindle 10 yet, my Android device wants me 2 pay 4 it again!! Totally unfair! This is a bug that needs to be fixed immediately!!

Really good game. Mingames were nice and make you think but they weren't too hard. Storyline was good (and you should listen what they have to say so you know where to go and what to do). Bonusgame was good also, short but that's only a bonusgame so not bad. Liked.

Well not all the mini games work for me. Like the paint one, can't get no paibt on a paint brush... :-/

The painting game won't allow me to insert the last colour in the big cloud on the lower right of the picture. I've tried all 4 colours but none of them work.

This game is great. Had everything I want in a game like this. Good story line, nice HOP, excellent puzzles, added bonus of finding the kittens. There were a few small parts that were not explained well and took a little extra time to work out but all in all greet game, nice bonus game, will wait for the sequel and get it too when it comes out. Worth it at half price. ..I honestly don't think ANY of these games should ever be $4.99. That's just too much.

I'm giving it 2stars because it hadn't been long in the game at all before it cut off wanting me to buy it, g5 has been bitten by the greed bug huh?

Fabulous, loved the map and the bonus chapter was longer than I expected. It didn't award me the achievement for repairing bot and wouldn't let me zoom in on the piano with the kittens but apart from those things I loved it. Looking forward to The Emerald Maiden 2, hopefully also with achievements

This is a good one. A lot of the games coming out don't have that good of a story but this one has a great story and kept me playing instead of getting me bored and switching to another. Worth the money! Wish it wasn't over. :)

Below par to the usual level of quality I see in AM games. The graphics and the storyline are a bit 'clumsy'. I'm not sure it's really worth the money.

I enjoyed this game the first time round. Playing it again still impressed though I had to pay for it twice which did not impress me much.

Wonderful graphics and interesting puzzles. Runs smoothly and no bugs. Good length and good,but easy, bonus story. Too many misspellings though. Worth the $4.99.

I don't mind paying for a mobile game, but it was expensive for its short experience. Good puzzles in a setting reminiscent of BioShock, with an added enjoyable bonus game - some bad spelling, though. Footnote: is this a bug? Try as me & a friend might, we couldn't get the brushes to paint the picture and had to skip it.

Fun and entertaining. Well worth the cost. Challenging which is what I like but if you get stuck you have the hint button. Artifex has done it again. Great game!

This game has a full and detailed story line that encourages involvement and really pulls you in. I agree with Melissa and enjoyed the bonus chapter very much. It sets everything up for a sequel as well. Save the kittens(!) and be sure to interact with them after you do for a nice little achievement award!

I gave this 3 stars only because I have played and paid for this before. You just made a new advertise (look). Not cool. Enjoyed 1st time played and this one just don't put this up as a NEW release.

Great story line , mini games not to difficult ,however you do have to think about it , the only thing about this game is a lot of running around , if not for that. I would of gave it 5 stars . can't wait until the sequel.

The graphics were beautiful, and it was nice that the scenes were not dark, ominous and filled with demons etc. The mini-games were fun, some hops were silhouettes and find/use but most were lists so a little boring. The Iength was ok, bonus chapter a tad short.

Not as good or as long as some of their other games. It is still a fun game & good value for the discounted price. I am glad I didn't pay full price.

I've tried in casual,advance and expert mode but still didn't get achievement for repair atom...please fix it!

Much more straight-forward than other games. Less complex. Also, lots of HOS item names are wrong.

Not my favorite AM game, but overall solid. This is a good entry level game for those just discovering AM adventure games. Not a bad story, good graphics, more emphasis on Hogs than puzzles. I prefer more of a 50/50 balance of puzzles to HOGs. Also this doesn't feel as smooth and deep as other AM series.

It's so short for play game if you offer its game longer it will be great I will give you 3-4 than 2 it's dissatisfaction game!!!!!

Nice graphics and sound. Good puzzles but room layout was a little bit confusing. Overall an above average quality HOG adventure.

I enjoyed the story line and the graphics. The mini puzzles were not to hard but you do need a keen eye.

It was challenging. A couple times extremely challenging but the hint function helped. It kept me intrigued.

It's a fantastic game without any glitches. It even has a map that allows you to travel to different locations without too much back and forth. Nice balance of puzzles and HOGs. Glad I got it at the introductory price. One little gripe: the Amazonian tribesmen spoke like they spent years living abroad. Odd no?

Far too many cut scenes. Story was good and has a good mix of games. Room marked Eden was never unlocked. It must not have had any importance in solving the game. Two other rooms not used (extreme left of first floor map)

I enjoyed this game because it had good graphics with nice artwork, puzzles & hidden object games and a good story that will keep you interested enough to buy the game. Well worth the few dollars it costs. I only played up to the end of the trial, but, I will be buying this in the future, when I have more $$.
