Shadow Cave: The Escape

Really good so far. This is just the first chapter in hopefully many. It uses a really cool art style which really appealed to me. It took me a couple of attempts to realise I don't have to have my finger on the dot to move it, I can have my finger anywhere on the screen, and that made a bit difference in playability. So 4 stars from me, and would have/will be 5 when more levels are available.

Love these types of games and this reminded me of one of my fav games which was Limbo which was also too short of a game. If this game came out with 100+ levels it would be an epic game and it would keep people coming back for more. Heres hoping!

Uninstalling. Would not allow me into the game without registering. Then proceeded to continually loop me to a registration offer for some service I didn't want via pontiflex. Not going to download anything else from this dev. The reg screen for the offer didn't work whether accepting or cancelling.

But having to interupt the game every level with the pull to sign up for something I do want took a lot away from what is a reall great short game. Get rid of those and make more levels am raise my score

The game is very good. Graphics are fine. It first took me 10 minutes to understand what I have to do exactly and then it took me another 10 minutes to finish it. The game is ridiculously short like one of those TV Shows which have only 6 episodes in the entire season. Fun game, the HARDEST level of all was the last one which consisted of racing the dragon and dodging the rocks. Brilliant concept, well made.

Really challenging recommended to everyone who is fond of such type of games. I was looking for something like Limbo and this game nicely reminded me of it. Can't wait for second part :)

Fun concept. The graphics are dark, in a good way, and the background doesn't distract from the game play. Yes it is only 1 section of levels and a "boss battle" but u gotta start somewhere. I hope that in the future there are enough levels to make it deserving of a paid version. I think it'd be worth a dollar or 2. Until then the occasional ad after a level is alot better than having ads during the game play. The only suggestion I have is to make the goal area a little larger.

Can't wait for the full fledged game! This first chapter is very promising and it screams for more! Agree with comments regarding ads and speck needing improvement (less pixelated). Great job overall!

Just when I got through the dragon I was salad to see it end.. Happily give it 5 stars.,, very intuitive and game play is fluid. PLEASE. Make more levels or games!

Really good idea but if an entire game is only 5min long its not ready for the store. I should also mention that 20% of that time was spent saying 'no thanks' to the pop-up ads. The tiny amount of gameplay that was there was great though.

Its a great free game forte time that it lasts. Just wish there was more to it than just 5 mins of gameplay. Also, i shouldn't need to say NO more than one time to the email request. Requesting it between EVERY SCENE is TOO MUCH.

Super short but wow what a brilliant yet simple concept. This should be its own category of touched based games. Seriously I can't believe this type of adventure game isn't done more frequently. If you can make a full-fledged game based off this concept I guaran it would give mass appeal. My only quam with the game was that I suggest on certain levels (aka boss) that you supply a small ring that demandsyour finger starts there for less confusion and frustration. Wow huge potential here bud, take advantage!

The only purpose of the new update is to promote his crappy new game Shane Reaction. Uninstalling shadow cave (i gave this 5 stars before), and rating a 1. Boycotting all releases from Artbit as well. Great job jackass.

Good, now that I have your attention, I must urge you to bypass this game as its developers are, clearly, mocking the consumer. I had no idea any company would be so blatant as to impose in- game ads and, furthermore, ads occurring such shameless frequency. Your entire experience will be robbed by these tactless commercial breaks. I feel almost obliged to counter any such developer who sells the quality of its games...

Beat the game in 5 min or so. Hate the pop up asinking if I want to sign up for an email..no means no bro but other than that was pretty cool..stop annoying me with the email sign up, add some.chapters I might even be tempted to throw down for it

Game is maybe 5 minutes long. You have to cancel out of a nag screen between every 30 second level. No way this game has a 4.5 star rating.

To begin with pop ups are annoying and the game was clocked in under 5 mins. Besides that gameplay and visuals are amazing. Audio on the other hand needs some work.

That big scary dog or wolf at the end is going to give me bad dreams tonight. What a cool game! App to SD please and hope Chapter 2 comes soon! Thanks!

Great game if it was longer than 2 minutes of playing. It has been a long time out with no updates. I will raise rating if an update comes out and I havent gotten tired of waiting.

There is problem, there is something that comes up every time you are finishing a level, that asks you to sign up for something. It's very annoying!

The "offers from or partners" screen is really annoying. But the game looks cool. There is zero explosion about what to do, that bugged me too but I figured it out. Head toward the light!

The games concept is great, but it really is not a full game. End up having an ad pop up after every level completed. Even if you chose to sign up it still asks you after every level.

Asking to sign up for email subscription between every single level is really irritating. Protagonist could also be better than a tiny speck of light. Game time extremely short, but it's a WIP.

Would be 3 or 4 but only if there wasn't an interuption between every round by an ad trying to pressure you into signing up for some non-descript "service". The 'no thanks' box is greyed out to imply registration is compulsary. Ad's in games is ok, but not if they become as intrusive as this. Because of this I wont even pay for a non free version of the game, the developer does not deserve it.

Great game design and a challenging and pleasant game play. It is very short, yes, but that's all right for a free game in progress. What really annoys me (!) is the constant third party email subscription request popping up after every second picture in the game, ruining the very atmosphere, making you feel like you're playing some stupid junk game only made to spam you with advertises. This fine little game doesn't deserve that kind of treatment.

I don't like playing games where you don't have control of your surroundings. Being chased through a tunnel with tricky rocks. That's enough for me! :(

It has its ups and downs. I can be a really good game if you try harder. I've kept an eye on this game for a while now and I don't see any up dates or any work at all. And the demand that I can submit my email, name... etc. I lost my hope for this game and I still can't wait for an update. I love the graphics and the mechanics are amazing. But my say on this game is I can't recommend the game until it's done.

Asus Nexus 7 - I like the low file size, be sure to keep it low. Graphics are great. Colors used are awesome. Gameplay seems smooth but may need some type of tweakage with the control, it seems a little laggy. Maybe change the look of the tiny yellow thing, it needs polishing. Other than that, this game may get really addicting. It's like combining Operation with those Limbo escape games and it definitely works for me. Keep up the great work.

Could be longer. Boss fight took me a while. Very fun and addicting

The flaw in the game is at the end of each level, the exit is to close to the edge of the screen it can be frustrating on some levels. If the exit was further away from the edge it would be a lot better. I don't know if anyone else has encountered this. Still it is a good game, with lots of levels that make you think about every move.

Love this game, definitely reminds me of Limbo. I really like the setting and ambience. Too bad I get slammed back to reality every other screen by the overly aggressive requests to sign up for offers. I'd easily pay for a"full" version.

I thought it was realy fun good job! All of it was cool no glitches realy fun. Though the pop ups sux but still fun cnt wait for chapter 2!

This is just an app designed to harvest email addresses, disguised as a game. There aren't 9 bosses, only 9 screens which are all trivial, during which the 'game' will stop and ask for your email 5 times. It even greys out the No button. Non-game, fake scores, avoid.

I would love to see chapter 2 for this game. And for those ho say the controls are off are wrong. I found it absolutely easy to control. Great concept and great game.

Big surprise! Unique design and idea but the controls aren't working (I'm on Sony's ICS Beta, might be the reason), and annoying subscription screen. Can't wait for the next chapter!

Game was different and fun but it only took about 3 minutes to beat it and annoying Crap constantly pops up begging you to join subscribe.. Crap....just Crap. Big black stinkin Obama Crap....

Agree 100%. Way to short, however, how much fun this little game is? That's a different story. I loved this, can't wait for chapter 2,3,4,etc. LoL thnx a bunch. Download for sure everyone. I hope it likes ur divice its very fun and challenging. The gothic/limbo, atmosphere is cool too.

Refreshing to see games still being made like this:p Yes it was short but there's a couple things that were done very well with this. Variety: Every game has a consistency that helps define an identity there of, but should still retain variety to keep it fresh and new: every level had a different element that was simplistic but brough bit of depth with each addition. Its unique style also added to that depth, creating a total experience I may well have enjoyed more than the game itself.Itsdef worth a try!;D
