Great App for Developing Executive Function At first I thought the questions were too easy for a competent reader, which the app requires you to be. But soon I realized that the app was deceptively challenging. The questions are phrased so that you are inclined to answer incorrectly. It takes memory, attention, inhibition and mental flexibility (aka executive function) to get through the levels. This app has exactly the sort of tests that many brain scientists say improve executive function. There is quite a bit of new research that says that students that have good executive function do better in school and are better behaved, and that strong executive function is a better predictor of intelligence than IQ or standardized tests. Great app! Kudos to the developer for offering something different to the kids app market.
