In the early 1970s, when children began racing their bicycles on dirt tracks inspired by the motocross stars of the time, BMX got popular.
Children were racing standard road bikes off-road, around purpose-built tracks in the road.

I love the Runner Games version of this game. This is very similar, but only has 30 levels as against 90, the jump control felt laggy and the sound effects weren't as good. Plus he should be wearing knee pads to set a good example to the kids, the poor chap's knees must be very scabby after a few games!
