Laska is a challenging and addictive strategy game by former World Chess Champion Emanuel Lasker. It is a variant of checkers (draughts), but the ingame situation changes much faster. The best strategy requires sacrificing pawns in order to win them back in the next moves.
You will learn quickly by playing, because Laska guides you inside the game. It indicates the possible moves and gives you hints when a certain action is against the rules.
Laska has an integrated AI with three levels of difficulty. With the multiplayer mode, you can also play online against your friends or gamers from all over the world. The best strategy players are competing for a global high score.

Not crazy about colors/design. Multiplayer doesn't seem to work. Game itself fun & interesting. Issues: can't play human vs human on device, can't select who starts first move, no undo (maybe that's good). Room for another to do better... or for this one to improve.

Not crazy about new colors/design, but the game itself is still fun and challenging. Nothing else like it so worth installing. Many bugs fixed so that's good. Still, these issues: can't play human vs human on device, can't select who starts first move, no undo (maybe that's good). Room for another developer to do this better... or for this one to improve. Not sure paid version addresses issues.

Fun and challenging. Nothing else like it so def. worth installing. Rate 3 stars because it's not feature rich & buggy. Refreshes to new game when going to landscape, can't play human vs human on device, can't select who starts first playing AI, no undo.
