Glyph Quest

For those who hate "free to play" games that try to suck money from you all the time, this isn't one! Yay! It's more like a free trial with single payment for full game.

But being forced to pay to go beyond level 5 (and thus the combined spells and whatnot) is not my cup of tea

The animations should be skippable, the game is too slow as it is. Otherwise fun.

I don't write app reviews, but this one blew me away. Fun art style, tons of monsters, and a huge variety of spells. Very fun. Hope there is a sequel.

Really well made game, the android port works flawlessly. Gameplay is very addictive, especially after unlocking all items in the shop. A bargain at its current price!

Tested the game then purchase it in my phone. Tried installing on my tablet but it doesn't sync the progress even with Google game login. No landscape mode on nexus 7 and Samsung Note 8.

This game has a cool concept, awesome graphics and a sense of humour! I will definitely buy the full game as soon as I can.

Like he said in the Unity talk. Wanted to just try for fifteen minutes and then I'm an hour into the game

I'm lvl 9 now and catching on to the gameplay. Very simple to get started yet deceptively complex without being difficult, a perfect mix for me with well balanced game mechanics. Excellent work devs and well worth the $. I've been playing non stop since buying it.

Glyphquest is an adorable puzzle game with fabtastic art. Each swipe on a bejeweled-type board is a move against a monster, making it fast paced and strategic. The combos are extensive and the powerups are unique. Costs just $1.62 after level 5, which is SO worth it and a GREAT DEAL!!

Great twist on matching game. Colorful enemies, cool magic spells. Lots of depth. One of my few 5 star games!

interesting idea but there are certain things missing from the game: is using G+ login but there is limited play services integration, e.g. no cloud -save or achievement system that I can see. Then there is no help system, neither for the items/spells (elements) nor for the beasts/enemies. You just get a list with flavor text. Also sometime the text is not well aligned with the text boxes (have the same result on tablet and smartphone). Also, the back button does not exit the game (you have to hit the home button). All these made ,me decide to not purchase the full game. On the other end I see no problem with having only up to Lev 5 to play for free so you can get an idea of the game and then having to pay to unlock the rest/full game: the developers say so in the game description and is fair enough (there are no ads in the game) so I can't understand people complaining for that.

Simple but very addictive. Excellent presentation, graphics and gameplay. Finally beat all the dragons!

Fun game love that other than the one time purchase there are no in app purchases. It has a bit of a Puzzle Quest vibe with game play is closer to War Games. Very nice. Go ahead and try this demo.

Enjoyable and charming take on the match three genre, with amusing writing (including a gloriously incandescent Dark Souls reference or three) and pleasingly tactical play.

But overall not bad

This is basically the demo and showcases pretty much everything that the game has to offer. After reaching level 5, you can buy the full game. This is a puzzle rpg, that mixes some rpg elements with matching orbs. The art style is appealing and the sound is ok.

This is such a well put together game :) I've just unlocked the combo spells, makes for thoughtful and tactical play. There is an issue with text appearing outside frames which makes it hard to read, but it's not a deal breaker. I wonder if we could ever have Bluetooth pvp matches? That would be awesome too.

The game force closes right after the "Powered by Unity" screen, on my Moto G XT 1033 running on Android 4.4.2. I'm using ART runtime.
